Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year?

$500 mark can be sometimes before block halving. I really don't expect anything "big" until this happens..

Why not, not long ago it jumped to 400+ in a matter of days from 200$ and now it's stable at 350~ It can happen, if you are talking about stability, you are probably right, even if it reaches 500$ it probably won't last long there.

Well if the current stabilization maintain at the "new floor" today, $500 in a sudden is really possible but of course sitting for a matter of hours is the question. Don't just make an no possibility answer out of the current price. Learn to read the trend rather than stick with the current price.

I don't think we'll reach $500 this month. It would be nice to close the year with half a 1000 but doesn't look like it to me

Doubt it. Maybe there are few people who actually buy something on christmas with bitcoins but other than that I don't really see how the price could be affected by it, not even fiat is affected.

The only way we can reach this, is if we ever get passed $400, it seems like it's been struggling to get up there.

It has been going up for a bit now these past couple of hours, so maybe there's still a chance but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't

With the holiday season coming up I doubt it. People will be cashing out to but stuff. I think we will do well to stay above $300 till January. If that happens then it is a really good sign.

Yeah, but the "problem,"   if you want to call it a "problem" is that if bitcoin reaches $500 so quickly (such as before the end of December), then $600 becomes fairly easy, and maybe $700 becomes the bigger difficulty of reach, but then in the minds of the masses bitcoin has clearly been put in the hot and difficult to ignore or denigrate categories.. which would cause some very bullish dynamics difficult to reverse absent some real intense fud, technical flaws or successful sabotaging efforts.

We could see a double top, but I would be very surprised to see it go much higher. 2016 will be one hell of a year for BTC, I predict.
