Oh good news is this why IOTA goes to the moon now? The project is great but how much we can expect to grow this one ? cap at 3 bln for 1$ ? Well , let's say we are in December 2018 , total market cap at 1 trillion in that case, yes I can see Iota going to the moon maybe stopping at 50 bln market cap max which means 20x from now. The other possibility is to iota competing with BTC (not really realistic) and in case if we go to 200 bln then this will be equal to what some alts like Monacoin already achieved . |

If you google for "IoT market cap 2025" you get values between 0.5 and 5 trillion US$. Even if IOTA is involved with only 25% then, this will be a huge number. If there is one long-term-hodl-coin, then this one. Also, let all these lame and bloated blockchains grow a few more years until their limit is reached, at the latest then all the "chainy's" should also appreciate the advantages of unlimited scalability and decentralisation, combined with "no miners, no forks, no fees". |

That is the best news for the day, no wonder it's increased by 16% the past 4 hours.
But to be honest, I LOVE iota, so if we can stay under the radar I'll just want to buy more and more. It is a fact that they will still appreciate substantially
How come some new this sooner and they were able to buy at the lower price? Insider trading? |

Dude stackexchange is not a crypto exchange  Nope, but it's the largest software developer community in the net. This means that software developers (even from major software companies) who want to implement the IOTA technology in their products will find and get free and open support. This will push real world applications forward on the long term. |

Absolutely. Iota is just stirring, making its first moves. Iota Is not even on the radar for 99.9% of the people who are destined to become its greatest fans. Satoshi Nakamoto’s 2009 elegant but flawed bitcoin project showed us the way but it was never going to be the final word on the subject. All the things that bitcoin was hope to be will not come to fruition. However, bitcoin will become digital gold for millennials just like physical gold is for the baby boomers. So its future as a high value wealth preserving asset is assured. However, for a working crypto currency for finance and industry we have to look elsewhere. Up until the advent of Iota we only really had bitcoin clones, with the usual problems of the blockchain. Now with the advent of Iota the path is clear for fee less micro-transactions, machine to machine transactions, an ultrafast, scalable, miner- less, true peer-to-peer crypto currency. Comparing Iota’s tangle to blockchain technology is like comparing a Ferrari to the horse and cart. So as for price? Iota must equal at least a volume adjusted current Ethereum price in my opinion. So that would be $17. Of course when Iota reaches $17 Ethereum could be much higher, but in the end, once realization of the potential of Iota sets in who knows what that upper price is going to be. |
