Very interesting reading. There are indeed breakthroughs in quantum computation almost weekly. Now of course 'breakthrough' is a laden word, but it's not really a controversial thing in academia. Big steps towards practical quantum computers are published wekly. Not too long ago there was still die-hard skeptics that claimed that decoherence made quantum computers IMPOSSIBLE, now of course we know that is bogus. Given that accelerating technology and research it should really be a no-brainer for anyone inventing the future to include protection against this

You better do some reading on how to use the wallet properly, especially about the reuse of addresses. Not reusing addresses is fundamentally important, better move to a new seed, when you have access to your IOTA again.

I just created this SEED, bought some iotas on bitfinex and withdrew to this seed wallet. And now and trying to transfer to bitfinex again.

Now i think its late, looks like i got hacked, i only typed the seed in desktop iota wallet and android iota wallet, i dont think that my pc is compromised.

I cant understand, in bitcoin i have 1 address and 1 privatekey, iota has like 1 private key and infinite address? How i can know if this adreess in mine or not?

With IOTA you have your seed, which is all you need to access your funds. The seed should be 81 characters long, only A-Z and 9 allowed.

With the addresses I already posted something earlier today:

You can receive multiple times on an address as long as you don't send anything. If you are unsure, just generate/attach a new address for receiving.

Meaning, when you send IOTA, you HAVE to generate/attach a new address for receiving IOTA, you shouldn't use the old (receiving) addresses any more.

For some further reading you can visit this site: https://matthewwinstonjohnson.gitbooks.io/iota-guide-and-faq/getting-started/dl-wallet/what-is-my-seed.html

Nice project... but missed ...

I'm still a buyer of IOTA at this price, you can still make 10x on IOTA over the long term easily. I was just impressed the other day when I sent a micro transaction as a test to an exchange back and forth with NO FEES....when people start to realize the potential behind a IOTA, it will explode and we'll see the kind of ETHEREUM gains we saw. I've been slowing moving more and more of my portfolio to IOTA

Do you think it would ever be possible to integrate Iota and the Ledger wallet? Or is the tangle tech just too tricky to get around?

Sorry i tried to figure out for myself but i need help.

I have a old adress, that i received 73 days ago exactly 1.12723 Gi from bitfinex: https://iotasear.ch/address/BOTBWRELVGUDEWHUFJKFMCFIYQF9P9HLOAO9VYCSPQMTKGKOUZZXAXWSQZKGLEQFB9QVHJXVMUWXTFM9W

I thought that today my iotas was stolen but now i dont know what happened.
The missing fund is exactly 1.12723Gi, but i had a little more iotas and only exactly 1.12723Gi gone...maybe is some problem with transition process.

Some days ago, i tried to open my desktop wallet and it cant connect, so i download a newer version but showed me 0 iotas.
This was not the first time that happened, last time i was able to recover balance by rettaching new address some times. So this time i tried it and didnt work. Tried to using reclaim tool too, but i am not sure what i did but didnt work too.
So i tried to rettach again more times and my balance appeared, i thought that was everything all right, but when i tried to send iotas i got KEY REUSE error.

And finally, some hours ago i saw in my wallet history a transaction sending exactly 1.12723Gi to another address that i dont know.

And now i dont know where is my 1.12723G.
what should I do?

Tks

Tried to using reclaim tool too, but i am not sure what i did but didnt work too.

If I finished the reclaim process, where is my balance should be? Because there is no balance in my old seed or new seed. For the new seed, i just changed 1 character, i dont know if it is a problem.
