Finally got my IOTA back, at least I can see them in the latest wallet now, though I have not tired to send!

Thanks to CfB for his help!

With my old seed from Auguest, it showed no addresses, should it not have shown the old address where I had sent my IOTA to?

IOTA addresses are deterministically generated from your seed, so just keep generating addresses until your balance is completely restored.

Keep your private keys safe!

IOTA has serious security flaws.

Yes. Wallet doesn't verify that the user knows how to use IOTA. It's a very serious flaw.

well this never happened to me with bitcoin (any wallet) in 5 years of use. Possibility of making a mistake to loose all funds??? Sounds like the problem is real.... All possibilities NEED to be ELIMINATED for the coin to be viable.

I'm reattaching... its now 16 times!
I don't now why price is pumping when the coin even can not do a proper transaction!

I did two transactions yesterday and both got confirmed under 30 minutes. I am not sure you did everythin correctly, especially you need to make sure the server is connected and synced before you use it. Not all servers are connected and synced all time.
I used more than 20-30 coins wallets but iota is the worst one I ever seen!
bro I'm not doing anything wrong. in their support forum there is topics with more than a week pending transactions and no one responses!
I bought some on 0.000085 and its now 0.000300 and exactly when I want to sell some of my IOTAs, transactions started to f... with me!
here you can see there is nothing wrong with my process, I reattached it many times and changed node every time and still nothing... . the worst part is that I cant cancel transaction or do another transaction!
https://iotasear.ch/address/QIXEVRGOHHZSERSBOYBZUJDAYZUYIGSKBKKRBHVYNJZDGONPTD9FIGQZJIWTWEFQHXYDLTIOUUKIAMVXBQAJPIOLND

their slack link does not work, also their telegram link. support forums have no register button ... I really don't know what should I do any more

What is the deal with IOTA transactions?

I know it is said that it is work in progress and early days but why is it so hard to make transactions?
Even on the worst blockchain networks transactions do actually happen. IOTA they just don't I have IOTA
stranded in 2 different wallets. I cannot get any transactions to confirm at all. I have had transactions pending
for weeks and weeks. I have tried every node and reattached so many times it's just silly.

I wish I had kept everything in the exchange.

Did you ever use "Multibit" or "Multibit HD" wallet for Bitcoin, it was the most buggy wallet out there and on two occasions I almost lost all my Bitcoin to the bugged out wallet - luckily the Electrum wallet was (in a roundabout sort of way) able to recover my BTC.
This is a quote from the developers of Multibit "It has stubborn bugs that have caused us and Multibit users much grief." It is no longer officially available - I wonder why ?

Buy CCN CANNACOIN while you can. It is the most undervalued cannabis coin. With Jan 1, 2018 quickly approaching, ccn and other cannabis coins will continue to rise.

No reason to respond with "bring more full nodes" if that has been told 3 times already.
