Can we expect a dip anytime soon?

You can. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Dickens even wrote a novel about that.

And... bye-bye Ripple...

The question now is: for how long? Let's see if it holds the current levels.

Can we expect a dip anytime soon?

Maybe you will get this chance very soon but much hard to predict. I would like to keep HODL it seems this is going to explode and price will skyrocket there is still space for this.

If it takes so long for users to confirm transactions (with re-attaching and changing nodes multiple times etc) how can this reliably handle IoT traffic?

With my old seed from Auguest, it showed no addresses, should it not have shown the old address where I had sent my IOTA to?

The wallet problems are a hassle and need to be fixed but your iota is there.....  just to an explorer scan.... it is frustraiting but there are help guides out there

https://i.imgur.com/L81b99d.jpeg

I've generate 371 addresses after I bought some in august and logged in last month and there was zero. I can find them on the tangle and have also heard they are confiscated if you use the same address twice for protection? Any help? It's become a huge hassle it's only 140mi but i mean what the hell. I've never had this happen in my years of dealing with crypto. Much appreciated if anyone can help.

The fall of the coin will be in any case, only you need to wait for this moment, a lot of good news on the coin, so the coin will only grow. But the coin drop will be 100%

How is it possible to send from the same address in the light wallet? I see no option to chose the send from address. So I assume the send from address is changing every time I send a transaction?

the idea behind iota is nice and generally anything made in germany I support.
BUT
For a moment I have some doubts that behind the pump is the Bitfinex himself trying to bring more users into his exchange by just by pumping tether into iota.
Bitfinex is almost monopolist in IOTA trade 80% of IOTA is on bitfinex.
And taking into account that 20 IOTA accounts hold more than 60% of coins the pumps and dumps are simple play to steal naive people' money.

Invest into $XVG $PND $PAC $LDOGE created by people changing the world and unchaining money for freedom and privacy

Do not support Premined ANTI-coins like $XRP $XLM $ADA $TRX $IOTA killing FREEDOM of money

20 accounts do NOT hold more than 60% of the coins. This is craziness. You can't count the Foundation and Exchanges as user accounts.

The IOTA cryptocurrency market capitalization has topped $7.8 billion, and is now closely trailing that of Ripple. IOTA has also surpassed the market valuation of the more popular cryptocurrencies Litecoin, Dash, and Monero. Only Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum are the only other cryptocurrencies that remain more valuable than IOTA. This is leaving some wondering why exactly IOTA are prices rallying. Before I answer that, it’s fair that my readers first get an idea of what IOTA truly is.

I'm reading a lot of salty comments on here from people who didn't buy in early. Its not hard to know why Iota is now 9 billion market cap. The technology behind it is groundbreaking. This was bound to happen. Say what you want about some of its shortcomings but you cant deny its unique technology that can compete with the likes of ETH and ripple. It deserves top 5 for sure
Nothing changed in IOTA technology since last 6 month. I mean yes, information market and cooperation with Microsoft etc. is great but nothing changed in IOTA technology since last 6 month and more. So why didn`t you buy IOTA at 0.3$ couple of mounth ago? Because most people  only buy something when everyone starts talk about it (hello bitcoin).

I agree with this...the tech is massively unproven which is why Vitalik Buterin and many other developers asked for clarification..only to be met with an unprofessional attitude from the IOTA team

This is way way way overpriced...cant wait to see how big the dump will be

Everyone knows the real reason why they asked for "clarification".

Ok, I have an important question about this system...

I`ve been hearing about this in different communities nowadays and decided to research the topic. The system looks pretty good and very effective in theory and in test so far. But;

How come this was created in 2015 and never really got any attention until the end of 2017? Seems like they even gave away free coins which ended in July 2017. But people still didn`t talk about it so much.

If the system is this good and solid then why this hasn`t become the next big thing for the last 2.5 years?
