this not safe at all..you generate your own seed..example i generate seed 1 and keep IOTA in there,,some one else generate seed 2..he is all control my wallet and send out the coin..

How can someone else generate seed 2?

3 month ago bought some IOTA on binance and send it to the light wallet.
Since that time i did not check it, today a opened it and the balance is 0. Maybe I did something wrong? there are no any transactions in and out, but on binance it is visible that I have send it before


I checked address on tangle.org and the balance is correct, but I cant see it in the lightwallet IOTA. Why?

few month ago i get into IOTA but i left because my wallet is hacked and i find out  this 2 seeds get into same wallet.....you guy can check if you want too..today i check again after 3 months the wallet still not fixed..

That's because they are different only in the last trit. This is how it's supposed to work, there must be the 3rd seed leading to the same wallet.

I believe this is the 3rd seed?

Generate/attach some addresses, your balance will show up then.

Looks like you need to know SEED 1 to generate SEED 2. Right?

Just keep attaching to the tangle and click on receive several times. Eventually your balance will show up again. A lot of people have this "problem" and it is one of the major flaws of the wallet and the reason why i transfered all coins back to Binance. Eventually cashed out out because i dont believe in Iota anymore. Maybe my loss but hey, there other projects to invest in. Iota is meant for micro payments between services and machines, not for investors to hold in a wallet, the wallet itself makes that very obvious.

No i cashed out because i dont believe in Iota anymore. I transfered the coins to an exchange because i was fed up with the wallet. I sold at 25000 satoshi and now it is between 15 and 16000 satoshi and i could buy in again and have more Iota but i wont.

- partnerships not real?
- problem in code, the team had answer they can hack other copies.. But I think that's insane 

But I like the tech and I like it is different from other blockchains..
Somebody can say why I need to buy IOTA now?

Generate a safe seed, don't use online generators. Back your seed up and never share it with anyone.

Use a new address for every incoming transfer.

When your balance shows zero after a snapshot, generate/attach addresses and your balance will show up again. The new wallet will do this automatically.

Thanks for sharing! We are heading to a new stage of IOTA. As soon as the mobile and the desktop trinity wallet have been released, IOTA will be much more user friendly (it is already machine friendly ). Along with good news ( a lot of new advisors from big companies have recently joined the foundation ) the project is on a good way.
