Bitcoin become nowadays more famous than the previous few years, it's growing up daily and we know yet many big companies and ewallets making Bitcoin as official payment processor and that's help more to advertise and support this currency

Bitcoin gains more popularity by it's own performance. When bitcoin hit it's life time higher prices, the total world has turned towards bitcoin progress. I personally believe the higher bitcoin price itself a very much evolving self promotion of bitcoin to make it more popular and well-known. |

As long as new member keep joining bitcoin and new projects keep being developing,bitcoin can keep growing ,one step at once and we will see bitcoin on a high level.

Bitcoin gains more popularity by it's own performance. When bitcoin hit it's life time higher prices, the total world has turned towards bitcoin progress. I personally believe the higher bitcoin price itself a very much evolving self promotion of bitcoin to make it more popular and well-known. I think so too, the increasing of Bitcoin's price and the stability of this high price could for real support this currency and popularize it as well. I think the next halving, next summer , will help to increase the bitcoin's price and this can be reason to advertise this ecurrency in better ways |

this process just need a very long time, after all satoshi himself predicted 20 years to see the outcome of bitcoin, only six are passed until now but since people around the world don't like to wait for, they simply have forgot about bitcoin for now, but the true is many more than what we think, know about bitcoin, they just don't use it |

The delay it takes to convert fiat to bitcoin is very offputting to new users. Many give up just because of that. |

Bitcoin is becoming more famous day by day. More banks are researching the blockchain technology, Paypal has/will integrate bitcoin, more sites are accepting bitcoin. It has been regarded by European high court to be a currency.

To be as it seems to take a long time, but it is bound to happen to the fees they pay for every transaction using other payment method.  Merchants should be the first ones to realize how much money they lose because of mastercard, visa and co. I had as shop once and most of my expenses were those fees on every transaction my customers were doing. Sometimes I paid around 5$ for a single transaction. Crazy |

That's real, but also i think that the anonymity of bitcoin's transactions and decentralizing if this transactions could be for sure reasons to make Bitcoin as famous as we know nowadays Other than the basic bitcoin benefits like peer to peer or decentralized, the investment opportunity bitcoin has brought would be the biggest reason, makes bitcoin still famous. When it hit higher prices it would turn as hot news every where. |

With bitcoin, the owner of the shop only needs a smart phone to display the transaction address for a particular sale. There is no need for a special POS machine. They shall save in this area as well. |

what the... BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS this is just the beginning!!! for me "the fire proof" will be the next halving, we will see how it behaves before, during and after it happen, but i have really good feelings about it. bitcoin still famous? not yet, wait just a Little bit more and you will see. |

I agree with your opinion. First of all we have to take into consideration that there are roughly about 3600 new coins generated per day and if you consider a portion of that ended up in the open market, the buying sentiment must be really high in order to pull the price up. And yes, despite all the negativity people are still into bitcoin.

Think BTC is still gaining momentum, the blockchain is being adopted and thought about by some of the large banks and company so there will be a knock-on effect of bitcoin being talked about more and more and in turn should be picked up by a lot more people.

Now, we see people saying that bitcoins are not well known, but thats not 100% right.. Because bitcoins are still famous in the world ,and it is used somewhere, by some means whether in small amount or large amount in each and every country, some websites now in some countries even allow you to shop and recharge using BTC.. So, BTC is still famous

What does it mean by "Still" famous. I don't think Bitcoin ever lost it's status as far as being famous is concerned, the reasons for it's fame might have been different for different periods but as they say any publicity is good publicity and since last weeks it is making headlines for it's sudden price increase which will make it more famous and boost adoption.
