i think its good  Not only good but its the best time for all bitcoin earners,holders,traders and gamblers,, cause we might see bitcoin spike up at 1000$ ,so the right thing ti do for now is to hold and sell it on the right time. If bitcoin would really come up to $1,000. Well, that's my first time on seeing bitcoin pumps to that price since I can say that I'm still newbie in bitcoin and needs to learn so many more about it. But I will stand on what I can see, that bitcoin halving would really give a good effect for bitcoin. |

The same thing could happen this time. You can draw a parallel with the oil sector. For example, if the OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) tomorrow will say that after six months of oil production will be reduced by half, the price of oil will react instantly. |

The bubble is about to burst. The margin traders have accumulated too many Bitcoins and the prices are going to collapse even before the halving. Everyone of these speculative traders are going to lose money. During the past 6-7 months, the exchange rates have risen by close to 150%. This spike is not sustainable, as I am not noticing any corresponding increase in the Bitcoin adoption and usage.

Everyone is hoping the the halving will be nice for the Bitcoin and that would be nice if we can earn some more money later with Bitcoin if it is going to rise.
But you are not for sure that you can earn money with it because it was stable for a long time so maybe it needs also a longer time to rise.

I think it's both. It can have it's bad and good side and we can only hope that the positive effect is much greater. I think the halving will push bitcoin more to it's potential so who knows what will happen. Let's just find out when it already happens. |

It will be very good in my opinion if price raises at least a bit. If price would come back and stay at the $220 level, comes the halving there would be very interesting things happening in mining, hashrate, difficulty, etc.
But as we can see price creeping up and almost getting to $285 at the moment, halving seems great for Bitcoin since I think this run might be easily connected with the upcoming halving. We'll see!
Wow, that low? Maybe wait until BitCoin halves then buy... |
