Nobody thought it would be 1-1 right? The early Q4 Miami made a remarkable adjustment and it looked surprising, but still Denver looked good to chase points but a few missed shots makes them behind and great finish from Miami to take advantage in game two, and games 3 and 4 will be at stake for Denver but they will again take the next game to regain the lead.

A few minutes after that close game, I was still in disbelief because of what happened. I didn't expect it TBH because it's anybody's ball game until the final minute of it.

It's the first loss of the Nuggets this postseason, and on the other hand, the Heat again made the impossible which is to give the Nuggets their first loss on their home, and it's because of the team effort of the team, and a great, great coach in Coach Spo.

I guess there's no need to share the stats here for the Heat since won because of their team effort. Jokic on the other hand led his team with 41 points while Murray scored only 18 points. I don't know if it's only me, but I think putting Murray in the center of offense would be better than Jokic. I mean Murray would be better if he would shot more. Nevertheless, it's a close one, and there was a swing of double-digit leads, but in the end the Heat won. Congratulations to them. I guess with this loss of the Nuggets, my prediction of Nuggets in 5 will not happen anymore unless they will win both games on the road.

I guess Miami will be favored next game in their home now that they showed they can beat Denver. It will depend on what will be the adjustment on the side of Denver if they will take the lead again against Miami. But I think Miami will take the lead this since they have home-court advantage. I will still be betting on Denver though even if Miami gets the favorite on game 3.

It will, but I think that the odd differential isn't that much compare to when they're playing in Denver. It's also because the Nuggets are 4-3 on the road this post season that's why I don't think that the odd differential isn't that much although the Heat like what you said will be favored in terms of odds. I think I'll put my bet on the Heat as well in Game 3.

I was shocked. I am one of the NBA fans that thinks the Miami Heat is totally underrated and they proved something today. First, they broke the perfect playoff home record of the Nuggets. Second, they started heavy by not letting the Nuggets score for 4 possessions, iirc. Finally, they closed the game strong and did not an overtime happen.
Right now, it got me curious on who will win this championship because before I was so sure it will be the Nuggets. It seems like Erik Spoelstra has still a lot of tricks in his sleeve and it's being shown now. Using Kevin Love in the first 5 was a risky move but it worked out fine. He returned on a play that uses Duncan Robinson as a threat like how he did it against the Celtics, almost like DeJa'Vu actually.
All I could say is, cheers to Miami Heat, that's some good basketball.

It's good to see Heat won Game 2. That means more matches and more rating for NBA. If Nuggets swept Heat that would be bad for marketing. They can keep the Final series Heat, pun intended.

I'm never thinking that it was like that. I want to see if this final is going to have its sweep and that will be one of the greatest in history. A team that's first time as a finalist and then swept its opponent but not anymore. Well done to the Heat. Although I didn't see the typical Jimmy Butler in this game this game 2 showcased the other talents that the Miami Heat has. I like the rotation of them and how Coach Spo shuffled the players for this match so close for the Nuggets but glad that Heat took the game.

Yes, they made a good adjustment, especially at the last quarter of the game, Duncan Robinson, who's making lots of turnovers in the first quarter
come alive and bring the lift the Heat needs to cut the lead.

While Vincent, Butler and Bam finished the job and snatch the win against the home team, I like the aggressiveness of all the heat players.

They are all-in and they are really taking the big risk shooting the ball. Good thing that it's better compared to game 1.

What a good scenario to start game 3 in the Miami Heat game court and this is their chance to further put the Nuggets under pressure by winning the next game as well because it won't be easy for them as well after game 2 to win the next game as visitors. no worry for the Miami Heat right now since they have the means to beat the Denver Nuggets, it will be gonna easy when they can start the games with some huge lead before the 4th quarter because as we have seen in their last two games, the Heat have only high chance of losing if they were trailing but if they're not, then they are about to win that game.

You are absolutely right and that is why Miami and their coach is doing great with such a limited roster on the paper. I even wrote here yesterday that it seemed like Nuggets were just too better than Heat and there is almost no hope for them. But, boy, was I wrong or what? Heat just killed it and their fourth quarter was just utterly amazing. I'm sure also a lot of people paid attention to their faces and how focused they were. Even though I am rooting for Miami since the bubble, I was not expecting that. I thought Nuggets were about to have an easy series. But now I think Heat are the favourites. I’m surprised how bookmaker still giving Miami Heat this kind of odds despite their performance today. Game 3 is already on Miami Heat court which probably they have some advantage due to the crowd support. Miami shows how sharp they on 3 points shot that makes them worthy to give a close fight against Nuggets. I thought they will have at least 2.xx odds on the next match since they manage to get a game on Nuggets court which is the first time this playoffs to lose.

I am very happy that Miami won the game. I don't want to watch a fast-paced final series, the more matches the better. Also, Miami is performing interestingly this year and I really want them to succeed.
Most of the games in the roster are not very big names. It is a great success that they won a match in the final series with the players who were not in the first place in the draft. The excitement seems to continue to increase

Oh crap. If that is still the case I might be forced to bet for Miami instead and just get that + spread if suddenly it ends up as a close game which I think will happen on their next games in this series.
Miami Heat just showed how good they are if they are playing almost perfect basketball.
Bam, Butler, Lowry, Struss, Vincent, all of them are aggressive and we haven't even seen Caleb Martin step up his game and yet they can win games.
And the Denver Nuggets cannot also find their offense in the last quarter, if Jokic rested they are having some trouble on who will shoot the ball which mostly ends up in a turnover after a lot of passing without shooting.

I hope the spreads change especially when they said Tyler Herro could be back anytime in this Finals. Maybe a plus for Nuggets or just a good profit at the money line should suffice.

I am starting to believe that the Denver Nuggets are in real danger especially if they will let Miami come close to them in the last minutes of the games. The Heat has the deeper playoffs experience and is used to facing adversities, tougher games including comebacks, and winning close games on the road and at home.

Denver is still the favorite to win this series but they better play defense, hustle, and grind hard even if they are leading 2 digits to avoid comebacks which is very normal to Miami.

Yes they forced him to work more on those 41 points. Even smaller guys were assigned to guard him 1 on 1 at some point and Jokic just pushing them like nothing hehe.

There's very little room for error for the Heat as well. They hit shots in game 2 that weren't dropping in game 1 which made a lot of difference so it's the same for both teams.

Seeing the odds moving much closer than it was last time means that the bookies are now having some doubts about the Nuggets chances in winning every game and if they cannot win in the hostile ground for the next two games, their chances and odds will become much lower and probably will become an underdog in this series. But I don't think we can able to see that kind of scenario as just like what the Heat did, Nuggets is now preparing for their next execution against the Heat and will have some certain adjustments so that their chances of loss will be minimized.

I honestly didn't expect Nuggets to lose at home, this is something shocking to me. After the first game I started to think that Nuggets could even end up with some sweep, because Joker wasn't that easy to defend, dude can pass anytime he wants and can end up scoring anyway he pleases as well.

They risked his shooting and scoring and just covered his passes, if you keep everyone else defended very well, that means he is just a pure scorer and sure he can score as much as he wants to and even maybe be efficient at it as well but if you limit every other 4 guy on the floor (all five when Jokic is at bench) then you are talking about others covering the difference enough to win. Never could have seen this tactic and definitely something amazing.

I also got no confidence for Miami Heat this season because their performance during the regular games was not that great but all has been changed ever since they were defeated by the Atlanta Hawks in the first rounds of play-in, and then Jimmy Butler activated his playoffs mode after that with of course the additional of Bam Adebayo and other undrafted players that has been making good gameplay since they defeated the Chicago Bulls to attain a seat in the post season.

Afterwards, they kept on making history and defeated the #1 and #2 in the Eastern conference and became the one and only play-in team to achieve and participate the Finals.
