They actually still look good with their roster but they will probably let go of Russell. Keep Reaves.

That's the best thing they have to do. Russell is a highly paid player, so they can find someone who is more consistent than him. It doesn't need to be an NBA star; they need someone who can allow the organization to develop their game and who loves to play defense, unlike Russell, who isn't good at defense. Reaves is probably the most consistent player on the Lakers roster, aside from LeBron, as he can really contribute on a nightly basis

Russel became their problem on Nuggets series since he didn't show up some good contribution to help his team. Maybe its good for them to trade him and find more better wing that can help then on offense and defense. For sure they can get more better as Russel still have a value as a player.

But even though Lakers has been sweep by denver we can still commend these guys for giving a good fight with nuggets they didn't give up and show their heart they should bounce back next season since they still have that rooster which can help them to get another championship run next season.

So the Nuggets will have a nine-day rest before going to the NBA Finals, where they have the home court advantage.

The Miami Heat need to finish the series tomorrow so they can also rest and both teams can prepare for the NBA Finals. Based on the betting odds I saw, the Nuggets are the favorites, but that doesn't guarantee they will win, right?

What are your speculations, guys, for a possible Heat vs Nuggets matchup in the Finals? What team do you think will win?
Nuggets. The disadvantage would be against Jokic. Who else in the Miami Heat team can defend him when Adebayo will be in foul trouble? Cody Zeller will be next in line but I don't think he can handle Jokic. Then, Kevin Love will be the next option but in Game 3 I saw him get hurt in the ankle, that might be a bad one if they will keep him for longer minutes.
Anthony Davis is a good defender, and yet we saw how it ended. That baby hook soft touch is not easy to block adding the body of Jokic that will help him make space.
Guard defenders, Miami Heat has lots of them, but if the play will start from their center, it will not be easy to stop it. Then the Nuggets have Gordon to keep Butler checked. But, if I see a large handicap against the Heat, I might pick them with the plus.

Congratulations to the Denver Nuggets for winning the Western Conference Finals.

are we going to see two sweeps in Conference finals
Nuggets got their job done over Lakers, 4:0, without any match that was that close, real domination

on the other side, Heat is up 3:0 and close to finish job tonight, really unexpected stuff this season, and while Nuggets were top spot team on the West, Miami started from play-in and managed to get one step from winning Conference finals, Jimmy Butler at his best

What do you think of LA's final play? I was thinking the coach should give it to AD to tie the game during the last timeout.

The Nuggets anticipated that play, they knew it's going to end up with LeBron forcing the lane because Jokic have 5 fouls and they have a better chances in winning if they have sent it to overtime. But then again the Nuggets knew it so it wasn't so surprising how Murray had a perfect help defense in the last play, because that was the defensive play they have designed.
That was a great anticipation play. Murray already had his eyes on Lebron before the ball was inbounded. I thought that should have been the cue to kick the ball out to AD who was unguarded. There should be plenty of time for him to take a two or three. I guess Malone outcoached his counterpart again.
When you're the Lakers, or with any team, you will always, always go with the best player in the team to do the final shot. In that play, it's now or never for the Lakers, and maybe I will also add the fact that they knew already that they will not win against the Nuggets anymore, so they did that.

What do I think with the Lakers' final play? I guess there's nothing wrong with it. It's just that, Murray already knew it that's why he helped in the defense, and altered his shot, and if you will look at one camera angle, it's all ball for Murray. No foul on it, and that's also the reason why Lebron didn't complain in the end, and just walked away. The Nuggets used their BROOMSTICKS to finish the Lakers. Now it's time for the Heat to do the same as well against the Celtics.

I believe that the Heat will finish it tomorrow against the Celtics. The morale of the team doesn't exist anymore on the Celtics. That blowout loss in Game 3 showed how soft the Celtics are. Their 2 all-NBA team player in Tatum and Brown aren't stepping up, and what's worse is that they are being outscored by some undrafted players in the Heat.

Odds? In the beginning of the ECF, many thought that the Celtics will also win in this one base on odds. Right now, I don't believe in the odds anymore because with how the Heat are playing right now, TBH I might picking them as the winner of the title this season. I guess we already knew that the Heat will win against the Celtics, so it will be Nuggets Vs. Heat in the NBA Finals. My prediction? Heat in 6. Smiley

Anyway, I will add some things, achievements by different players, and teams in this Game 4. (I saw in Facebook, just sharing it here).
- Jokic made another history again as he passed Wilt Chamberlain for most number of triple-double in a single playoff season with 8.
- Jokic made another history again as he's the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double in a Conference Finals. He averaged 27.8 PPG, 14.5 RPG, 11.8 APG.
- Lebron also made history as he's the oldest player in NBA history to achieve 40 points in a playoff game. He really is the King, and he almost got a triple double in Game 4.
- Lebron also made a history for himself as his 31 point first half performance is his highest in terms of points in the first half.
- It's also the 2nd time that both conference Finals in playoff history have teams with 3-0 lead (the first one was in 2015)
- The Nuggets made into the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

They give up easily. I guess there's a problem within the team, and it's possible that their coach is not happy and is simply blaming the players. The Celtics were considered favorites after the Bucks were eliminated, but it seems like they won't be making a comeback to the NBA Finals this year. Both the Warriors and the Celtics are out, so let's hope that the teams playing in the NBA Finals will provide more entertaining games.

I'm speculating that it could be the Heat versus the Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals and the Nuggets will be a heavy favorite.

They got good players but surely it was not enough their attitude towards this game was devastating the Boston Celtics games against the Miami Heat were all one-sided it seems that it is another sweep in the Semi-Finals but maybe the Boston Celtics would likely be faking it and they would want the Heat to think it that way, but again I may be wrong about this and the Boston Celtics will surely face a crushing defeat tomorrow,

With both 3 games lead against their opponents,

we can assume that the chance of advancing to the finals will be for both Denver and Miami.
The way I witness how tough the challenges for Boston, white city shine and not just the players
are enjoying but all the fans who supported them received the entertainment that they wish to see
when they bought the ticket to watch the game live, Bam and Jimmy, together with all the Heat
squad, all of them deserve the praise from the fans.

I think this game will be much more fun than watching the Denver Nuggets one-sidedly Bouldowsing the Lakers surely most of their games were close but the Lakers were really exposed in that games against the Nuggets

And the true Exposede team here is the Boston Celtics when you look at their game against the Miami Heat you can really say that Miami Heat will Sweep the Boston Celtics in game 4, but the Celtics could still surprise us, but it is hard for them to get back,

I wonder how the final is going to be played out between the Nuggets and Miami Heat. Both of them are showing really good consistency and also performing really well. Almost all of the players in both teams are currently performing very well and consistently. I don't think there is actually any doubt about Miami Heat getting into the finals. After all, they are only one game away to making sure that they are going to perform in the finals. They will have to win one out of 4. That is going to put things heavily in their favour. Smiley

We will see once both of them is already there. Right now, we just have to wait for the other team to qualify and that's the Heat which has a high chance that they'll end their series against Celtics by tomorrow. Both teams didn't get any lose from the semis(conference finals) and have performed very well. While Heat has the history of getting in and out in the finals, the Denver Nuggets is gonna get in for the first time in history. They may be lack of experience on that bracket but sure they like challenges. If ever the Heat finishes the game by tomorrow and we're already in the finals, I'm more optimistic with Heat's roster because of these undrafted boys.

It's a sweep! I thought this was going to overtime but Gordon had other plans hehe. He also redeemd himself with that block after missing crucial free throws.

What do you think of LA's final play? I was thinking the coach should give it to AD to tie the game during the last timeout.

The last quarter was really a struggle and you can see how hard for them to defend and also make some baskets against the Denver Nuggets. the Lakers are tired and cannot shoot well in the 4th quarter and they are terribly missing despite their great performance in the first half. Well! that's just the way it is, clearly the Nuggets are way too much for them this year and what we want to see next time is the Miami Heat vs the Denver Nuggets in the NBA finals this year. I wonder how far will Butler's luck bring him this season because we all know that they came from the play-in tournament and beat every team to soon reach the NBA finals when they beat the Celtics tomorrow.

Those 3 undrafted players of the Heat are leading the way for them to get Game 3, and remain undefeated on their home this playoffs. Vincent, Strus, and Martin are combined for 57 points while Vincent got a career-high 29 points.
This is a slap against Celtics and we're now having that 99.9% of probability that it's going to be the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat that will face each other in the NBA finals. The problem with Celtics is that they're not rotating a lot unlike what Heat is doing. It's like that there's this superstar and minimum player on the Celtic's side. But look at the ball rotation of what Heat does, anyone who's open from the outside, just shoot it and we trust you. That's what they're trying to say.

They are trying to go one-on-one; there's no great team chemistry on the team as they do not trust each other so much. They had a plan to double Butler, but Butler is a good passer and can easily spot an outside shooter. This is embarrassing as it's a blowout loss for the Celtics. In my opinion, they are already out as no team has come back from a 0-3 deficit in the history of the NBA.

The three-point shooting is the biggest factor in this loss by the Celtics. They shot 26%, while the Heat shot 54%.
They'll surely have no comeback as the other team which is Lakers have already been eliminated. I don't think that they still have the nerve to move it along and beat the Heat tomorrow. Well, they might beat with a 1 game but as you've said, many of us think that it won't happen that they'll have a sweep and reverse wins against them. They should just let it go and let Heat and Nuggets have their own moments at the finals.

Well, they might beat with a 1 game but as you've said, many of us think that it won't happen that they'll have a sweep and reverse wins against them. They should just let it go and let Heat and Nuggets have their own moments at the finals.

They are out of confidence now as the Heat is continuously bullying them inside the court and they show no mercy to celtics especially that Butler is so hot in the floor right now. Maybe tomorrow will be the final series as the heat will advance to finals and face off Nuggets on finals.

But if Celtics can show some miracle and get courage maybe the story will became different and they can continue to compete and extend this series.

Russell was not able to prove his worth. With a player earning a big salary, he should excel in tougher competition like the conference finals. However, look who's showing up—it's Reaves, as he continues to be more consistent and has contributed to the Lakers' ability to be at least competitive. Well, it's over now. The Nuggets have already advanced to the NBA Finals, awaiting the winner of the Heat vs Celtics series.

I'm guessing if the Heat advance, the odds will be 3/1 in favor of the Nuggets, providing good value for Heat fans.

Yeah, I think Russell was no where to be found in this series against the Nuggets. I thought that we will be a big impact because no one from the Nuggets can easily guard him. But I guess he doesn't have that mentally.

In this game they build a good lead and we can see that Lebron was doing everything he can specially in the first two quarters.

And I thought that this will be a win for them, didn't see the 3rd quarter, but as soon as the Nuggets takes that lead, it was over as the Lakers was broken down mentally.

The Nuggets are the better team, I think it just shows how they really are the number 1 team in the West as they finished the job here, sweeping the Lakers. And even if they are down like 15 points at the end of the first half, they didn't panic or what, because they know the caliber of the team.

Thus, when they started to make a comeback in the 3rd with Jokic and Murray taking over you can sense that the Lakers are going to lose this game already. So congrats, and I think it could have been a blessing for Jokic to not win the MVP 3rd straight year, but at least now they are going to the finals.

The Nuggets team has definitely been being built over a period of several years and they did it by developing young players like MCP while picking up guys with a lot of potential like Gordon.  I've been saying for years now that they were going to be the next up team.  Great to see it play out.  Honestly, I don't know how they managed to get Gordon without giving up much, but to me that was the piece that put them over the top.  The Lakers are still trying to figure out who to play with their team slapped together at the end of the season.  I think LeBron forgot what it takes to build a championship team.

The best the Lakers can do in the 4th quarter was to tie the score. And then Jokic and Murray again pushed the lead to 5 with 4 minutes to go and that's it. The comeback was not enough or it's that the Denver  team are really prepared in this kind of game.

We might as well give coach Malone his due, at the start of the series he was saying that the narrative was on the Lakers. On the other hand the media is not taking Jokic accomplishments and at the end of the series on on the playoff itself, Jokic was on a mission and had one of the best statistical numbers for a big man.

Exactly! Which is why media and most fans no longer have a choice but to recognize him due to his achievements.

Tomorrow will also be a thrill game since Boston is also in a tight situation and also on the verge of being swept. A lot of my local friends are already predicting that they would be swept since it is not their home court, but it is still not done yet. I am already expecting Miami will be doing a good job playing tomorrow but nothing is assured that they will actually win, since it is obvious that boston will be more aggressive this time around if they didn't want to be swept. We already knew that the favor is on Miami due to their home court but I am still hopefull we'll something game changing tomorrow.

Expect media to cover Lebron than any other stars since he is the most famous NBA player and fans is more interested to see some updates about him. But since Lakers is eliminated then expect media will cover up the star of Nuggets since they know that hype is building up more on this team since many are so curious if this current rooster ny Jokic can bring the first nba title on their framchise.

Nuggets is so near to achieve their goal to become a champion but they also don't give any discount to heat since they defeat those strong teams in the east.

This season's playoffs have made a lot of unexpected results in NBA history. I guess this would be the first time that the 7th and 8th seeds are able to reach each other conference's finals. And probably the first time that a team with the most undrafted players reached the finals.

I would love Miami to close their series with Boston tomorrow while at home. Miami Heat has the most difficult matches en route to the finals compared to the Nuggets. Props to coach Spoelstra for utilizing and developing well what the management can only provide to the team which has a lot of undrafted players. And to Butler's tough mentality and leadership. Miami is once again overachieving IMO.

I am a fan of both Denver and Miami and I am happy that they are now in the finals. Technically, I am favoring the Nuggets to win the series as they are the more well-rounded team and are complete. It is really worth it that Denver's management decided to send reinforcements to Jokic.

Well, Nuggets are certainly a more well rounded team. But the way Miami Heat has been playing recently I don't think it is going to be a good idea to put your faith in Nuggets 100%. It is certainly going to be a 50-50 match between both of them. I genuinely believe that the result can actually go either way. I agree that Miami Heat is actually overachieving. Don't think anyone actually thought they will be in the finals, to be honest. But this type of unexpected results are actually what makes them more fearless in my opinion.
