The OKC Thunder remained unbeaten at 2-0 after dispatching Donovan Mitchell and his gang. I am feeling the potential of this young team led by Shai Gilgeous Alexander. I noticed SGA during the FIBA how careful he was with his shots, especially during crucial times. Now he is averaging 30 plus points and is above 50% on his field goals.
All are talking about Wemby these days and I heard his NBA debut garnered high television ratings with millions of viewers. Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren is doing his thing in OKC well even if he is not the main man. Earlier against the Cavs, he made 7 huge blacks as his team won big in a close entertaining game.
I have not watched their games yet, but it seems like these young OKC team has already a good start... or are they? They will be facing the Nuggets next. I'm curious on how Holmgren will defend the MVP. How he can stop him, or can he stop him. For sure, Jokic will focus more on passing rather than shooting in the paint because he's against a taller defender than him. He can shoot at perimeter though, but let's see. SGA is the one that's playing at his best right now, and just by looking at his first 2 games, I think he will likely have a better season than it was last year. This is also the reason why some analysts are predicting that the Thunder will get a higher spot than where they are last season. All eyes now are on Wemby, and they forgot Holmgren which is kind of similar with how Wemby is playing. He's just 2 inches shorter, but both of them are kind of the same in terms of talents. Tomorrow/Later, they will battle against the Denver Nuggets and this will test them out big time if they will continue that winning streak. There's also the Sacramento Kings versus the LA Lakers tomorrow, another young promising team. I will definitely not miss this one and I bet it will be a great game to watch and maybe bet a little bit. I like the Thunder, but I'd still go with the Nuggets on this one. I don't know how they will stop Jokic. This might end up as a close one, but I go with the Nuggets. As for the Kings, and Lakers, as much as I want the Lakers to win, but they're on the road, and I see the Kings playing better on this one knowing that they just lost against Curry, and the Warriors.

I don't know how they will stop Jokic. This might end up as a close one, but I go with the Nuggets. The Nuggets narrowly secured a 4-point victory against a struggling Memphis team. Given this, I believe that OKC has a reasonable chance of covering the spread even if they don't win. Jokic is undoubtedly a unstoppable, but we have this young OKC team which has been performing exceptionally well, making it a tempting option. It seems that many are now favoring the Nuggets, judging by the significant line movement. The opening line at -2 has now shifted to -4. As for the Kings, and Lakers, as much as I want the Lakers to win, but they're on the road, and I see the Kings playing better on this one knowing that they just lost against Curry, and the Warriors.
The Lakers' defense and their outside shooting performance are crucial factors in this game. On the other hand, the home team, coming off a loss against the Warriors, is likely eager for a significant bounce-back victory. If they can effectively limit Fox, the Kings should be able to secure a win in this game.

Big news lately has been Harden to Lakers. Not that it is happening right now, but the rumor is there, which means at least someone from the staff leaked it to someone. Not that Lakers have any proper picks or anything to give, but they could give some players that are outside of AD and Lebron, those two will stay, everyone else can be used to get Harden. A trio of Harden, Lebron and AD should be proper, depends on who they have around them of course, they already have a weak supporting cast and with sending the very few they have, they are going to definitely end up with a lot more trouble on depth. But that would definitely make them a title contender without a doubt.

I don’t believe that news for a second. Mainly because James Harden doesn’t play basketball the right way and LeBron James would have zero tolerance for his isolation style play. I think they’d be a worse pairing than LeBron and Russ. A good match with LeBron would be Buddy Hield or another knock down spot up shooter.

Yes, I think they have enough with that kind of experimentation, pairing Lebron and Russ and it didn't go well with the Lakers for two years, causing them to trade Russ and then get rid of Vogel as a coach. So doesn't make sense about the Lakers getting in Harden from the Sixers. Besides, they have built a solid team right now, including their second unit that can contribute when AD or at least Lebron is sitting to give them some offense. And then Reaves, Rui and D'Lo as well playing as part of their core. They don't want to disrupt this just to get another problem for the team.

He is growing, and maturing, and I think the experience in both NBA and FIBA helped a lot to be on this stage. Plus, he got good help now from Chet Holmgren, Dort, and Giddey. This is going to be a strong team if OKC will keep that roster. What they need is to build chemistry and soon they will be one of the strong teams in the league. Truth be told, I do agree that SGA is going to be a great player but he is not the number one option in a title winning team potential player if you ask me. This means that their first option is not good enough to get a title, and won't be, and they need someone even better than him. I do not fully comprehend the business side of things, because if you are not running a team in order to get a title, then why are you even running it? Like just so it would worth a lot in the future one day? Not entirely sure really and I think it is going to be a tough deal. In the end, OKC needs better players, and they do have insane amount of picks, which they can use to pick players if they want but they have way too many of them, I would suggest trading and getting better but less picks, like give 2 first round picks and get a higher 1 first round pick type of trades.

SGA’s stats are crazy but that’s just because his team is really bad in my opinion. I think if he’s on a title contender then you’d see his starts fall through the floor. The Nuggets showed today that the OKC Thunder are nowhere near the conversation of title contender, but SGA is a decent piece to have and be able to build around.

Klay Thompson in the first half and then Steph Curry found his hot hand in the 4th quarter to give the Warriors another W. Almost everyone is hitting their threes and that includes Gary Payton who will all know has been bad at shooting distance shots. Their 3rd quarter was a bad one and that made the Rockets come back to take the lead. But the key to winning is for Steph to get his rhythm and he did at the crucial point of the game. 3 consecutive threes and he added more in the final minutes to put a dagger in the game. Draymond is back and I think the player rotation got messed up so Steve Kerr would need to find a way to fix that.
The San Antonio Spurs are being crushed by the LA Clippers now. 30-point lead and I don't think they can return from that. Expect this to be a blowout game. Milwaukee Bucks on the other hand received their first loss of the regular season against the Hawks, worse it was at their home.

The Lakers just had their huge L against the Kings who has Sabonisless in the 4th quarter and an injured Fox. They are suppose to be the favorite to win in the overtime as the Kings have lost 2 of their best players, but then again Ham just had another bad decision for not letting Reaves play the 4th quarter and in the OT. Gabe Vincent did not have an impact to the game, even guarding Fox he's not really efficient, I don't understand why Ham did that. Vincent and Prince lost momentum and gone cold down the stretch, Reaves had enough rest and could bounce back anytime soon in the OT, and Rui had a hot early in the 4th quarter but didn't have the chance to play since. Poor coaching execution and decision making cost the Lakers this game.

Just good coaching for Sacramento. They put fresh legs in during overtime. They were the better team. Fox was the best player in this game. The Kings played without Fox and Sabonis in overtime, and the Lakers still found a way to lose. 😁😁 Los Angeles Lakers should've kept Schroeder. Dlo and Vincent had no impact.

Damn, I dodged a bullet with the Bucks losing at home against the Hawks.
Wanted to bet on this game, obviously on Milwaukee, and thank god I didn't. Would have not expected them to lose this game in blowout fashion, pretty much game over at halftime. Of course it also didn't help that Dame had a horrible night. Without him contributing and Middleton sitting out there is nothing Giannis can do by himself.
The rest of the night was pretty much as expected with all huge blowout wins for the favourites. Only Sacramento as mentioned was a nice game vs the Lakers, happy they beat them in OT.

Just good coaching for Sacramento. They put fresh legs in during overtime. They were the better team. Fox was the best player in this game. That's just how they are when considering they are in need of that win, they just blow it out and lose the game. But this is just the start of the season and everyone is most likely building some chemistry in order to execute great plays in their future games the Lakers should learn from this huge mistake they had and not repeat it again because they exactly knew how hard it is to chase the playoffs spots when they are left behind and needed to play in the curse play-in tournament just they did last season.

Yes, but it was not an easy game for the Warriors though, they really have to dig deeper again with Steph Curry outside shooting came back just in time in fourth quarter to salvage another win. The Houston Rockets keeps coming back from double digit lead against the Warriors and even took a good lead and I thought that it's going to be a disaster for them. But as you have said, Curry caught fire and it's very crucial that he hit those 3's to stop the Rockets on their track and then build a solid double digit advantage that they didn't get up easily to secure another of their signature close W.

The Kings played without Fox and Sabonis in overtime, and the Lakers still found a way to lose. 😁😁 Los Angeles Lakers should've kept Schroeder. Dlo and Vincent had no impact. Vincent though is expected to contribute on both ends, but Fox was just too quick for him and he will score every time he want's against Vincent. Austin Reaves is another playing that we should be counting as well if you area a Lakers fan, but he was not to found in this game. And then they are missing in clutch while Sacramento is putting up solid game plan in the OT. So another bad lost for the Lakers, it seems that this is the Lakers that we have seen like 3 seasons ago, I mean there are games that are winnable, but in the end, they seems that they can't get their acts together and then started to lose in bunch. Hopefully this is not the case and they could find a good rhythm at the start. Because obviously, they don't want to do another catch up as it is very difficult considering how teams are very balance now.

Steph as steph again today, that's the beauty of this team. They have each other back and they are living on that same executions when they needed it the most. I mean, they will let Steph to take over and all will go to support him. In Houston side, they almost have it but even how tight the Defense for Steph his hot hands can't be stopped by anyone. Another great game for the fans who love watching the greatness of Steph and the rest of GSW, good catchup wins for the whole squad.

Have you seen this play from Curry against Brooks? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VY8BEYWigoYou better watch out, folks! Curry pulled off an incredible move, and Brooks seemed completely lost when trying to guard him. I must say, I loved Curry's reaction. It's my opinion that Brooks had it coming, considering his history of disrespect towards Curry and his teammates in their past encounters, prior to his trade.

But one thing I've noticed with Curry is that he's having a fantastic season so far. I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on this: Is it because of CP3's influence or perhaps due to the fact that they let go of Poole, who didn't seem to have good chemistry with the team?

The San Antonio Spurs are being crushed by the LA Clippers now. 30-point lead and I don't think they can return from that. Expect this to be a blowout game.
Clippers routing the Spurs is like watching Men play with the boys. This is probably the start of what's to come for Wemby. I can see him being bodied in the paint and push out of position so he will have to rely more on his shooting. It's also impressive how the Clippers' big three had identical numbers with Zubac contributing big as well. This is good for coach Lue as he doesn't have to worry about chemistry with the starters anymore.

Finally, a win for the Sacramento Kings. I was waiting for this to happen as I know they are not a weak team. Fox did great although injured. He stepped on Gabe Vincent and it was awkward land. I think he is forcing himself too much, he needs some time on the bench and let his teammates do some work too. Keegan Murray and Malik Monk are there so that he can rest. Damn, I dodged a bullet with the Bucks losing at home against the Hawks.

I lost on that Milwaukee Bucks bet. I really thought Damian Lillard would keep that good performance but never considered that the first game was because he wanted to showcase his skills and boast it to the Bucks fans. Game 2 showed that he is just human and the chemistry is not there yet. Later will be a game against the East champions Miami Heat and I bet Lillard will also show what the Heat management missed by not taking him on their roster so I think I will be rooting for the Bucks to win this game.

I can’t get over how bad Austin Reeves played yesterday. He went from leading the Olympic team (to a loss) to becoming a sub par NBA player in a matter of weeks…
