Will this roster that they now have is going to be the roster that they'll win their 2nd NBA championship? Because the last one that they have was from 1951.

This roster is good, but to think that they'll win a championship, I think that's too early to expect. I mean, they need to improve their ranking first in the playoffs. Last time, they had a first-round exit, if I'm not mistaken. So maybe one step at a time, this time their target could be getting to the WCF or just the Semis first.

-snip-

Yeah, that was due to Giannis's dominant performance. Even though Lillard had returned to the lineup, you could tell he wasn't at 100% as he struggled in that game. It's still a positive for them, though, as long as Lillard is on the court, it inspires the team to play harder, especially when they have their full starting lineup.

Lillard had 12 points but 3-17 shooting?  Embarrassed

For sure if Giannis Antetokounmpo is in the court Damian Lillard is having trouble getting his rhythm this is due to the Milwaukee Bucks is not used to getting their main score if it is Lillard or Antetokounmpo, or Damian Lillard can not see his position if Antetokounmpo was on the court playing aswell but for sure this kind of problem will be easily fixed if the team's Chemistry will likely improve,

But in the last game of the Milwaukee Bucks against the Toronto Raptors yesterday Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play for the Milwaukee Bucks which is why the team then made Damian Lillard their main scoring player while Malik Beasley was the back up scorer for the team and it went well for sure,

There was a rumor that Zach Lavine might be in the trading block as per Shams,

https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1724506310274642161

The Bulls have been struggling in the last 2-3 years when they rebuild and got DeRozan, Caruso and Vucevic, however, they will start the season good but then lose that steam entering the playoff run and lost in the first round.

And the teams that pops up in the trade is Los Angeles Lakers. But now sure what kind of trade package it will be. LA looks solid at this point, but if they are interested of acquiring Lavine, then something has to be given up.

For sure they are a team that has played the game and was doing well regardless of who is playing for the team, for sure the Chicago Bulls is a great team right now regardless of who is their opponent, and just like the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers problem because of the newer players they are having Chemistry issues for sure if they can cut off a player on the team they will then get the chemistry for the team fixed a lot faster and will also cut of the money needed for the team if they will trade out Zach LaVine

I'm glad to see Lebron James doing a triple double at his age but I'm really sad to see how Lakers are playing so far during this season and if they don't wake up soon enough , I'm afraid we will witness another failed season for them where they barely made play offs.

Also Celtics kinda showed us that 76ers are not what they look like and as soon as they block Embiid , there is nowhere left to actually carry the game for them and now I do think that maybe they made a mistake letting Harden go ? could be.

Sacramento has proved once again that the Kings are the best team in California. Sabonis absolutely manhandled Anthony Davis, showing that Davis is soft and will never be the player the Lakers thought he would be. If you asked me 2 years ago if the Kings would ever be the best team in California I would have said not for a long time, but that’s clearly the case now.

I love it, a silent underrated team. They're now in a 4 straight win and they just beat the Lakers for the second time this season. What made it better is they won in LA.

Hopefully, they learned a lot last season and will do better in the coming playoff games. But I am not underestimating the Warriors, the Lakers, and the Clippers since these teams are too well experienced. The regular season is far from playoff games where every team is willing to do everything to get a win.

But if there's a betting odd on which California teams do better in the regular season, I am also taking the Kings over the other 3 teams.

I wouldn't say that they are a underrated team, they also ousted the Warriors in last year's playoff and they have a good record as well last year. But now when they are healthy plus with the experience they gain from the last season, they are really coming very hard and beating great teams.

But I do agree, if there is a team from California right now, it's the Kings which is the best.

@ YuginKadoya - maybe you can call it chemistry issues with the Bulls, they they still have the core of Lavine, deRozan, Caruso and Vucevic, so they are still intact. But there might be internal problems that we might not be aware of and that's why this trade rumor surfaces.

Nah, they are good without Harden, Maxey is taking Harden's place now, it's that the Boston Celtics has the best duo in the NBA right now, Tatum and Brown, and they are very consistent this season.

For the Lakers, it's a up and down game against the Kings. The biggest issue with the team right now is that they simply allow their opponents to take a big lead and they have a hard time trying to catch up. Another team that is also inconsistent and I doubt that they are a championship caliber in the West right now. Kings kryptonite is the Warriors, but if the Warriors can't get their act together maybe if they play the Kings in the playoff, it will be a different story.

Not sure if this has really been discussed her or not yet..but what do you all think about the Zach Lavine rumors?  As a Chicago Bulls fan, I think we got the better of the Jimmy Butler/Lavine trade, and he's been a fun and exciting player to watch these past few years, but it's time to blow it up.  Lavine is not good enough to be a teams leading star, and would fit much better as a number 2 or 3 option.  The Bulls aren't heading anywhere with this team, so time to move on a rebuild.  Thoughts?  Also what teams do you guys think he'd be a good fit for?

Chi it's time to blow it up.  Not that the Knicks are any better but the way they are constructed they aren't going to compete at the highest level.  Sucks althat lonzo ball has gone down but it is what it is.  I'd get whatever I could for derozen and Levine in terms of young guys and picks and start over.  Landing someone like wemby in the draft is where it's at unless you are landing lebron type free agents.

Yeah I hear ya and totally agree.  Half the problem is Bulls ownership whom typically had a hard time making proper decisions.  Bt yeah at this point, sell/trade the stud veterans which includes of course Lavine as well as DeRozan.  Not to mention Vuc is a solid Center and I'm sure a few teams would be interested in his services.  I don't see any reason to keep him around.

Ball is a lost cause.  I mean talk about miserable luck, we never really god to see him play fully healthy along with the rest of the team.  Not say that would have been a championship team, but it would have been a lot more exciting.

In a scenario where Lakers gave the farm, like all the picks they could possibly could give, AD and maybe some role players, and get Derozan, Caruso and Lavine, along with Lebron, I do not care who else they have left in that team, that four players alone would be more than enough to be a title contender EASILY. I am not saying they will, we all know that it would be very tough deal, Lakers could easily just trade away some players to get picks from third team, they could just knock on OKC's door, they have like 30+ picks in the next 7 years, they could just grap a few of them, OKC could definitely share some of it, and Lakers could use those along with their own picks they have and AD and role players, its not impossible, and one final push for Lebrons final ring would be possible. If not, this current team is barely playoff levels, would not win a title at all.

Yeah, they need to improve first but it seems that they're proving themselves last year was a good start and all they need is to maintain the current roster and if they can add more, that's much better. Adding with more fine and someone who's got more experience during crucial times like in the playoffs. What they did last season was actually good because was it the first time again that they're back at playoffs?

The Lakers are “showing interest” in Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, & Alex Caruso. Basically, the Lakers are going to try all they can to get a win out of the Bulls need for a rebuild. With Anthony Davis having shown interest in going to Chicago, something big could be happening with this. Getting Zach LaVine and Caruso while dumping Anthony Davis would be a huge win for them in my book.
I've seen this but if they're going to take any from those, it's best if they'll take DeMar DeRozan. I think that everyone is going to agree with that. But anyway, we've got different thoughts on who's going to be better with them and it's them that's going to decide, so let's see the development on who's going to be taken if this interest becomes reality.

Agreed I think every team that has Harden leave is almost a net positive for them.  Harden is good no doubt but he isn't a type of player that makes his team better.  Looks like his teammates get disinterested when he is on the court.  Think something is off with his ego and/or personality which makes it not work on the court.
Probably with his ego, much better if LAC rebuilds or shows interest of trading him off with someone from the other team just to get rid off him. Because if this continues, the problem might be bigger and they'll not be able to reach playoffs.

I agree with both of you. The inconsistency is there right now and the Bulls commentators are just making it look good using their sweet words during home games. It's a waste that this should be one of the strong teams if only Lonzo was there to facilitate the game for them.
Actually, the rebuilding should've been done before the season started, now it's too late they may have a hard time looking for prospects that would be tempted to break their team in exchange for one of their players.
I think it can be done by doing it one by one and just looking for draft pick trades. Rebuild, like they say.
Regarding Vucevic, he is still playing on an average level and it's difficult to find a center who can shoot distance shots so he can be easily traded for something good.
It's just not working for the Bulls anymore and as I watch them in their previous games I still don't feel that vibe of chemistry like there's a wall that is separating them from each other.

That will be a blockbuster trade if that happens in the future. And I do agree that the Lakers are going to win in this one if they dump Anthony Davis + some other players in order to get back Caruso to the Lakers again, and then add to that DeRozan and Lavine.

I'm just imaging though what will be the package that the Lakers will include with Davis, for sure a lot of them just to get the superstars in DeRozan and Lavine.

And Davis being prone to injuries, I think this could be a good excuse for the Lakers to dump him for good. And I think Davis has done enough for the Lakers, winning a ring and he might be thinking of going out as well and Bulls could be a good team for him.

Looks like the NBA made the decision to suspend Draymond for 5 games for his choke on Rudy Gobert. Honestly, I was expecting at least a 6 game suspension, but the NBA is pretty lenient when it comes to fighting (in my opinion). Draymond has a long history of this though, so I would’ve liked to have seen him get a little bit longer of a suspension.
Draymond keeps causing problems in three straight games making it hard for the Golden State Warriors. Instead of helping he's becoming a negative influence. Maybe it's time for him to retire and sort things out. As a Warriors fan it's tough to support his actions and it seems like he's not good for the league. I think suspending Draymond Green for 5 days is fair. His recent behavior on the court needs a timeout to keep things in check and maintain a positive sports environment.
I know, I know that Draymond has been playing like he's in the streets where he can just play with physicality, but that's the Draymond we knew all throughout his career in Golden State, and to say that he must retire just because of that incident is just ridiculous. You're a Warrior fan like you said and you want a player who helped them to get 4 rings to retire already? He must be near past his prime, but he can still contribute to the team, especially with the defense.

Also, it isn't 5 days, but 5 games where he will be losing around ~$760,000, and he might have additional fines in the future. I believe that Coach Kerr will just speak with him, and they've been together for a long time. I'm sure that Green will come back way better than how he played in the last 3 games.

The question is who will be the center of the Lakers if Davis is traded? Hayes and Wood look like they aren't helping the team that much. Showing interest doesn't mean that it will push through at least in my perspective. Just imagine the Lakers without any reliable starting center. On the other hand though, they are trying to get the player who they didn't give the money that he needs, and that's Caruso. Overall, I don't see this happening just because of the fact that the Lakers will not have a center if they will trade Davis, but maybe they can still get either 1 of the three using other role players plus draft picks.

Its great package to acquire by Lakers since they really need a efficient player that can help them to win every games they play and beside that players they can acquire from blockbuster trade are healthy also a great player so provably Lakers would really take a win in that possible trade to happen.

Imagine Caruso + Reaves will play? For sure fans will get hype for this since they are their favorite player to watch. They don't really need Davis since his injury prone already so he should let go those liabilities and go what's best for the team.

Also Celtics kinda showed us that 76ers are not what they look like and as soon as they block Embiid , there is nowhere left to actually carry the game for them and now I do think that maybe they made a mistake letting Harden go ? could be.

Agreed I think every team that has Harden leave is almost a net positive for them.  Harden is good no doubt but he isn't a type of player that makes his team better.  Looks like his teammates get disinterested when he is on the court.  Think something is off with his ego and/or personality which makes it not work on the court.

True, perhaps the best team that Harden really put up a lot of effort is with the Houston Rockets, he partnered with CP3 and they almost made it to the finals and he is putting insane numbers and he shows he can carry a team, but not enough though.

And probably that is his mentality, that he can still carry the team but he keeps on joining super teams, so that is a contradictory itself. To be honest, I thought that he will stay with the Sixers, but I guess he understand that it is Joel's team and he will not make it as the alpha or the leader so he demanded a trade and just hiding on the excuse that the owner is a liar.

The Original White Mamba and the heir apparent in Lakers, yeah it could be too good to be true watching them play together. But Caruso turns out to be the defensive player that he is with the Bulls, as compare to when he was still with the Lakers, when he contribute more on the offense giving us highlight dunks with Lebron James.

Maybe the package would look like AD + D'Lo + Prince or Rui and maybe future picks. So I do agree that the winner in this trade is the Lakers as what we have seen, AD is injury prone and very fragile that you felt nervous whenever he goes for a rebound and then land awkward and starting to grimace because of some pain he felt going down.

The Warriors have been up against OKC, and it hasn't been going too well. Without Draymond and Curry, it's a major challenge for them. Even with CP3, Kuminga, Wiggins, and Thompson, they're still undermanned. I think OKC might take the win, spelling another disappointing loss for the Warriors.

Just looking at the height difference, OKC has a significant advantage, making it tough for the Warriors, especially in stopping SGA.

By the way, the first game is already done – the Heat beat the Nets, and Butler scored a season-high 36 points.

That's something Lakers need to work on, D'Lo and AD + Rui wow that's a huge package though AD is like what you mentioned, an injury prone
asset but if you will offer that trade proposal, plus a future pick not bad for the bulls I guess.

They are not working anymore, with the current squad they are not performing and risking to this kind of trade will help them if ever.

Let see if what future will bring us, especially for both bulls and Lakers fans if this blockbuster trades will take place.

Easy game for Thunder. Warriors without Curry is already tasteless, they don't have Green as well. Klay plays awful and Payton is injured now. Warriors can only score with Looney and Kuminga, which is quite contradictional for them. Warriors can't compete against Thunder with only points in the paint. SGA started good, I expect an early Thunder win by 20+ points margin.

Warriors are in big trouble now, they could not pull a come back and OKC is still leading the game at the end of 3rd quarter. I don't think this undermanned team would be able to have a fourt quarter run to beat the OKC, you maybe right, OKC might win by 20+ points here. Kuminga is unexpectedly leading the team, what happened to Klay Thompson?
