It's crazy how the Nuggets just refuse to lose on their home court, and their chemistry is on point again. They're still the team to beat, even though they're an underrated champion. And can we talk about Jokic? He's out there starting the season with a triple-double: 13 rebounds, 11 assists, and 29 points. What an MVP performance!

As we saw earlier, they still have the champion's aura in them and they won't just be easily beaten when they are completely healthy and have the current high chemistry they had when they won the championship. The Lakers can do nothing against their offense and this is the same for the other teams as well when they play against the Denver Nuggets this season.

The Nuggets really know how to share the ball. Their outside shooting was on fire, hitting 41%, while the Lakers were way off that mark. And let's be real, the Lakers' offense was a trainwreck. What's baffling is, they keep chucking those threes even though they're not exactly sharpshooters. They should be driving to the hoop, drawing fouls if the threes aren't dropping.

I wonder how will it be for the rest of the Western Conference team when they face them in the NBA playoffs because they are obviously not gonna break Nugget's wall unless they come up with some working tactics Against Jokic earlier this season.

It's not only Jokic though that they will have to contend, Murray is still on his prime so it's going to be very difficult to stop then specially in a playoff series. And even if the Lakers have thrown a lot of body on Jokic, he is hard to stop.

On the other hand, they send a signal to the Western Conference that they are still solid and will defend their championship. We haven't seen back to back champions for a while and maybe the Nuggets are going to do it if they continue to play with this kind of attitude. And with the experience they got, gonna be hard to break them mentality with Jokic taking the lead.

First half ain’t looking so good for the Lakers. This is especially bad because in Denver opposing teams get tired fast so the Lakers have an uphill battle ahead of them. I think Anthony Davis is looking great on defense and LeBron looks pretty good, the rest of the team doesn’t seem to be playing very smart on offense though.

Too bad for the Lakers as they just being handed with another L against the Nuggets for 6 consecutive games, including the sweep in the playoffs. They had a strong early first quarter closing the gap to just 3 with the 13-0 run, but wasn't quite able to maintain the same level of energy when the Nuggets rallied back. It could have resulted in a different outcome if AD did not magically disappeared in the 2nd half. The guy did not score a single point.
LeBron still looking sharp, I though he could still play for another 2-3 years.

I like how Gordon though take advantage of his size against Austin Reaves and taking him inside. And when everyone is healthy, they are really hard to beat specially in their homecourt.

That's just Jokic being Jokic. He's on the job now, and he's just doing what he does best being Mr. Consistency. He can easily put up that triple-double. Actually, he might have deserved the MVP award last season, but it went to Embiid. It's in the past now, so let's leave that behind. I'm just having a little sidetalk about that because I believe he was more deserving.

Now that he's already won a championship, his confidence is overflowing. Surely, winning the MVP this season won't be difficult for him.

I think the Denver vs Los Angeles game would’ve been a lot better of a game if the refs weren’t seemingly against LeBron. There were quite a few fouls that got overlooked and I’m sure there will be some complaints from the Lakers. I just don’t think the Lakers squad will be that good this year. Honestly, I'm not impressed with the Lakers' performance at all, and I don't particularly like the fact that 39-year-old LeBron again scored more points and had a better shooting percentage than his younger teammates. That being said, I don't agree that the Lakers did everything they could. I think they could have done a lot better, and it could have been a close game if the Lakers hadn't failed in the first quarter.

I think Denver takes this one by double digits.  Think it's also going to come in with a low score.  Something like 112-100.  I think the over under is around 228.  I can see the Lakers coming out of the gate slow.

It's good to see the defending champs not showing any signs of rustiness. They look sharp and I also enjoy watching Jokic working his way inside against whoever. His moves aren't that "cool" to look at but they are effective.

I made a mistake there. I took the Over 228.5 and worse, I added it in my parlay. I am an idiot. I did expect it to be a high scoring game and it could've been hit if they weren't sloppy in the last minutes of the game. Obviously, the Lakers are waving the white flag but I want to see them score more. But both teams are missing their shots so it did not reach the amount I input.

Denver Nuggets are still strong even without Bruce Brown and just like I thought they will use Christian Braun instead. He played 19 minutes although he only scored 5/3/2 which I think is a good start. The first games have jitters but very soon he will find his rhythm.
Pope is a damn pickpocket, 3 steals. He covered the defense that was contributed by Brown last year.

I do agree, it's like he take off from last year, triple double and it seems that he is not putting up enough effort. But still though, the Lakers or the rest of the NBA team hasn't figure him out. Hard to double him because he is a good passer, and then if they guard him one on one, behind the back or even in front, he will just pull his signature shot. So it's very difficult to guard this dude.

And then their role players are blending very well again just like last year but with maturity. And we might say that they are better as compare to last year because this time, they have that experience. Give credit as well to their coaching staff.

The story of the day for me was Zion making his debut after another long injury recovery. He didn’t do bad, putting up 23 points and 7 rebounds. I would have thought that they would beat the Grizzlies by more considering Memphis is without their starting pg and center, but at least Zion was able to help deliver his team a win.

He hasn't changed much; he continues to contribute with some consistency. Looking at his physique, he still appears quite a huge guy. Hopefully, he won't get injured this season, as there were debates in the past that he was overweight, which may have led to his injuries.

On the other hand, I enjoyed the other game between Dallas and the Spurs. It seems like Luka and Irving have found great chemistry; the ball movement was a pleasure to watch. They won that game in a close contest. Victor was a beast in the 4th quarter. It's just unfortunate that he didn't get to play many minutes due to early foul trouble.

It's no secret, Poole and green literally got into a punching match.  Klay steph and draymond are tight it just wasn't going to work.  And on top of it you can't pay everyone so Poole was the odd man out.  Golden state thrives on chemistry.  Fit in with those 3 or see your way to the door.

That is why I am excited to see a match between the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards on what may happen I am really intrigued by what may happen between these two teams I know the chemistry of those 3 players is inseparable and sure even though Jordan Poole doesn't admit it I really think he got a knack for the Golden State Warriors taking him out of the team, and that punching incident also had a spark in his recent pull out on the team,

1. Memphis Grizzlies - I don't doubt this. Jaren Jackson Jr. is one of the best rim protectors in the league. He averaged 3 blocks per game in the regular season and 2 blocks in the postseason. And it's not just that, he became a threat in the paint that players are hesitating to drive the ball in. That's a big impact to keep their opponents outside.

2. Boston Celtics - They lost Marcus Smart (the 2022 DPOY) but got Jrue Holiday who is also a defensive player. The Celtics will have a strong defense outside but might be weak on the inside. Against teams who focuses on centers like Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, they will probably have a tough time.

3. Brooklyn Nets - Nic Claxton. 2.5 blocks per game in the regular season and 1.8 in the post-season. This guy had been protecting the rim for the Nets and he has the power to face the likes of Giannis and Embiid. Then, they have Bridges, Simmons, and Royce who are also known for their defensive talents.

4. Cleveland Cavaliers - Oh yeah, the twin tower of the Cavs. Allen and Mobley. They are already better defensively so I want to see more of Mobley shooting those perimeter shots on high percentage this season.

I really love how a team can incorporate good chemistry for sure they are not only playing but also enjoying the game at the same time, for sure this is mostly the team goal to keep the chemistry of all players intact you can surely see it with the Golden State Warriors and watching them is really enjoyable, while the Denver Nuggets duo chemistry is sending good play for the team as well, you can surely say that if there are many player chemistry within the team you can surely have good results,
