Alperen Şengün made a good return to the court and finished the game with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
Alperen, Durant and Thompson were Houston’s most effective players.

It's worth noting that Kawhi is averaging 28.5 points this season, which appears to be the best performance in his entire career. In fact, it's thanks to him that the Clippers are currently on a six-game winning streak, which has allowed them to climb out of the bottom of the standings.

There’s still a lot of work to be done to get into a good position. Right now they’re sitting at 11th, and they need to reach at least the top 10 to make the play-in.
But if they can sustain this run, especially if Leonard stays healthy, they can aim higher, even push into the top 6 and qualify for the playoffs automatically.

That is the question, last season this team also show up late in playoff spots but unable to finish strong, health really stopping this team , if they are still putting this team again next season, well they need to check or study how to make their stars healthy in a full season, because every time they make runs, they eventually halted in the middle of the season or during the playoffs, which makes me think if the staff are doing their best to check and let the players play healthy.

Yeah they’re good at that, but what I don’t like about the Spurs is they’re still inconsistent.
Also, anyone got an update on Wemby? Looked like he got tweaked in that game and didn’t come back.

No update yet, the last news that I read is that it's bad news for the Spurs, but there are also who says that the injury is not that worst and they compare it to Jokic. But still though, if its similar to Jokic who will missed at least a month they they will definitely have a impact on the Spurs.

But they have a lot of good players and maybe it will be the time of Fox again to carry the team. But they have to be consistent and not to try to play catch up because there will be games that they might be tired and will not able to recover in time to win.

Wemby himself said that he felt fine and was ready to return to the court during that game, but they held him back. So the injury is probably not serious, but the Spurs' decision to give him a rest is understandable. They simply cannot risk his health, given that Wemby is prone to injury due to his height.

That's good to hear that Wemby will be ok, but I think the Spurs will have to make sure of that. So they would just allow him to play if they think that the injury is not that serious. So he will be put to test and see how it goes for him.

He is still very young though so he can recover. Not sure if he is prone to injury, it was just he landed very badly and step on someone that's why he twisted his feet and the effect could have been worst if he is like AD that is very fragile.

Was watching that game when he went down in the fourth quarter. It looked bad because when he went down he grabbed his leg and stayed down.
He did go straight to the locker room so thought it was like the injury that Jokic sustained the night before.
Ended up cashing out my bet but the Spurs actually won that game against New York somehow because they were down by more than 11 points throughout the entire game and without Wemby I didn't think they could of kept it that close to win it by a point.

Spurs managed to beat Knicks, the last basket by Brunson was funny attempt but at least shows his passion for the game but Spurs managed to get the win anyways. The trouble is that we have seen Knicks be east second place and Spurs west second place so not like Knicks was a simple opponent and yet Spurs still managed to get the win.

We are seeing one of those old time spurs where they are doing a fine job and that is very important. For many years now Spurs sucked, and we weren't used to that, but they are going back to being a good team again. I know Pop gave up retiring and just has an office job at management now, but his influence is still there, I am sure in trainings too, and we are seeing the benefits of that in the team as well.

The competition in the West is fierce. Finishing the regular season in the top 4 is crucial for home-court advantage.

Rockets are on the right path again by the looks of it. I mean defeating Nets isn't that much of a big deal of course but it's still a good game for them and they did a fine job. One thing to remember is that Alperen is a great playmaker that should have the ball most of the time. Why am I saying this? Because in many cases we have seen Sheppard be the playmaker and ball handler, and in those cases he just dribbled the ball until he ran out of moves and just passed last second to either Durant or Sengun, that is not a good method of playing.

They’re back on a winning streak, guys, and you were right. Alperen is really a big deal for this team. He’s clutch and very smart on the floor. What I see is that as long as Durant, Thompson, and Alperen, their big three, are playing well, the Rockets will most likely win.

I think they’re right behind the Clippers when it comes to the current winning streak.

Next assignment is in Dallas, which won’t be easy because Dallas are desperate to be back on winning track.
The question now is, can the streak continue?

Not even close game as the Thunder cruise on a big win against the Warriors. Steph, Draymond and Butler didn't play in this game, they are in the sideline and having fun watching the game specially those questionable calls again by the referee as it they are favoring the Thunder on fouls on SGA.

Game of the night is between the Bucks and the Hornets as it was a back and forth in the last 3 minutes. And the Bucks made a good play in the dying seconds, as they used Giannis as a decoy to get the inbound pass and then Giannis passing it to Porter and then Porter with a perfect lob pass to Giannis for easy two and FTW.

Nuggets were beaten by Cavaliers last night. It wasn't any surprise to me honestly. I even liked their managing to lose by only 5 points. 

Jokic and Valanciunas are both out at least until Feb 1. This will make things really hard. Good news is that Aaron Gordon is expected to recover very soon! This would give them some motivation to fight harder.

Kawhi Leonard's taking the helm has changed things a lot for Clippers really. He is normally one of the best NBA players already. It is nice to see him starting to show this to us again these days. Clippers can really qualify for playoffs if he doesn't suffer another serious injury.

Beating Boston is a good statement that they’re run is legit, and with the Warriors I still think they can easily beat them as they’re not consistent anymore. Even today against OKC, the big three were out, Curry, Butler, and Draymond, and injuries are starting to pile up.

Because of that, I don’t really expect the Warriors to make the playoffs at this point.
The Clippers have been a surprise, and I can actually see them overtaking the Warriors in the standings, soon..

If he's available for sure Kuminga will play since for sure they provably won't have any choice especially that Steph and Dray is out on the rotation, but since he's also listed as injured player as result he cannot also play against Thunder.

Also Kerr explains here according in this article Steve Kerr on Jonathan Kuminga being back in rotation: It's tough because JK is a guy who needs his rhythm about the reason why Kuminga didn't get lots of minutes in their rotation.

They seems just fine but if you look at their game tonight with Memphis they really are not giving good defenses, they are up but the next thing they slack on defense the trailing Memphis just cut the lead and they even lead. Can't comment on that but it's really a shame that he didn't set to play coz he'll be the primary option if he just is fine, maybe he's injured after all.

They won't risk a trading chip to get injured. We already knew JK is getting traded, why would you risk him and give him a full minutes in a losing game? I doubt Kerr is racist when his the starters aren't white if he was racist he would just quit as he dont like to coach a team that aren't white.

The last minute of the Bucks vs Hornets game was really exciting. But Giannis didn't miss and he put his team ahead with 4 seconds left. Hornets missed the last shot so Bucks won by 1 point. I find Giannis very annoying but he really plays the end of the games very well. He played with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

In fact, the Clippers have exactly the same number of wins and losses as the Jazz, and they are currently in 11th place in the standings. Regarding the Clippers' winning streak, it is impressive how well Kawhi has been playing. Honestly, it's unclear what prevented them from performing as well at the beginning of the regular season, thereby avoiding difficulties for themselves in the fight for a playoff spot
