I didn't expect Clippers' great winning streak to end in this way honestly. Celtics were doing really good thanks to Jaylen Brown in absence of Tatum of course.

But losing by 31 points against them was just a huge one.    Clippers couldn't even get ahead for a second right? Insane work by Celtics!

And of course a wonderful effort by Brown...  50 points and he did it with a 69% FG.

I hope it is just a light ankle sprain and nothing serious. When he is not playing, we can clearly see how important Alperen is for the team organization. He smply brings basketball IQ and creativity to Houston's game along with Durant. Without Alperen Houston turns into an ordinary team that just has KD.

He's definitely out for at least a week. I think the outcome of this game could have been different if Sengun hadn't been injured at the beginning of the game. Considering that he is the Rockets' main center, his absence made things much easier for Davis, who took advantage of it by scoring 26 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Golden State rested all of their key players against Oklahoma. They knew they wouldn’t be able to win this game and in my opinion, they made the most logical decision. Right now, the only team that seems capable of competing with Oklahoma is San Antonio.

Houston will be playing Dallas shortly and my clear favorite is Houston. I’m expecting a convincing win for Houston in this game.

Spread was only Houston -7.5 at the start of the game and currently in the middle of the 2nd quarter Dallas has a 6 point lead. Dallas has the players to beat Houston especially if the 3 pointers aren't dropping for them. The game will tighten up and Houston will probably pull it off, but I don't think they cover the spread. I'm not gonna get excited with AD we know what he will not be in a injury free season, the guy is so fragile now, he has been dealing with lots of injuries every season, but i hope it stops, hopefully sengun injury is just a normal one that needs only a few days rest, they needed this guy under the rim, I'm rooting for Houston to win this one but yea sometimes things happen, and losing one of their big guy is a big one, because they need him under the rim, because he knows how to position there.

For sure you didn't check the games today that's why you still say that you are rooting for Houston to win, but unfortunately Dallas manage to win against Rockets today and you can see on stats that AD is so impressive for performing good their game today.

AD still an exciting player to watch especially if he's healthy since we could see that he can dominate on the floor. The downside is his fragility because it stop him to perform more better and that can cause big trouble on his team. Boston defeated the Clippers by 31 points, winning 115-146 on the road, ending the Clippers' winning streak.
Kawhi had a somewhat subdued performance, scoring 22 points.
Jaylen Brown, however, had a great game for Boston, finishing with 50 points.

Houston lost to Dallas 110-104 on the road. Alperen was injured early in the game. He finished the game with 1 rebound. If Alperen had played, Houston wouldn't have lost. Hopefully, Alperen's injury isn't serious.

I took the bet for the Los Angeles Clippers hours before the game started, and the line was only -1.5 for the Clippers. I really thought they could continue that winning streak because Kawhi Leonard was really playing good on his last 10+ games.
Now that the winning streak is over, they must try to create a new one. They need at least 8 wins out of 10 games and repeat it if they want to put their team back among the playoff contenders. Leonard is healthy, which is great news for them. All they need is to play stronger with him, and I do hope that Leonard won't do that load management again. They badly need every win they can get.

There's no way the Celtics will lose to this game against them. The Clippers let them score 146 points? I mean that's almost as worse than the Hawks giving 152 points against the Bulls, and that's without overtime.

Well, the streak of the Clippers is now over, but that still is a good win streak for them. They just need to continue to play like when they're on a winning streak if they want to clinch the playoffs. Their next 5 games is a bit hard as they'll be facing the Knicks, and the Pistons in those 5 games. Overall, the Clippers are in the right track... or are they.

Houston lost to Dallas 110-104 on the road. Alperen was injured early in the game. He finished the game with 1 rebound. If Alperen had played, Houston wouldn't have lost. Hopefully, Alperen's injury isn't serious.

I'll give credits to Capela for playing very well on this game. He defended the paint very well still.

Anyway, the injury that Sengun sustained is a lateral sprain of his right ankle, and with Adams out because of a right ankle sprain, we will be seeing Capela playing more minutes in their future games. What's good with the current roster of the Rockets is that, they can play without any center, but their height isn't affected at all because they have many tall forwards that can defend the paint very well. Expect more of that in the future, but I do really hope that Sengun's injury isn't that serious at all.

Boston start and finished the game with strong domination, they outscored Clippers and maintain that same momentum. Like what you said they ended that Clippers winning streaks and they did it with a very huge deficits, Brown and White anchor their offensive productions as they perform that well, with Brown's 50 points and White 29 points that was a decent combination, they both help Boston to keep their chance while Tatum is not available to play, they still pushing their chance.

They have a very bad defense while their offense is very weak on today’s match.

Celtics is a good team even without Tatum since they have young players that can perform good for core roles. It’s very hard to stop Brown with Clippers current defense. He is simply unstoppable when he is on the zone.

Clippers just faced a strong team that overwhelmed their offense which their main asset on winning recently.

Well if they continue to messed up and will not perform good while the Joker is out, we might provably see them in losing streak. So proper adjustment is needed so they can retain their position so that they won't get any serious problem while their main man is recovering. It was a game to prove something by Brown. He thought he was better than everyone in December and he didn't get the award so he got pissed off and now he is playing his best game ever, which is making him look great and he may actually do win the January award if he keeps this up. Not sure how long he can keep doing this, it is going to be a full month to do this so he may not do this greatly but a month of 30+ points every game could make it happen very easily, or at least average a high ppg.

Jokic is averaging a triple, double, so it’s not surprising to see the difference when he’s on the floor and when he’s not. Those double digit rebounds and assists alone are enough to feel the loss of Jokic. Their next two games are against the 76ers and Celtics. Unlike the 76ers, even without Tatum, the Celtics still have Brown, who is consistent on offense. That’s why they are still the 3rd seed.

Expect not just a comment, but it is the reality. The Nuggets is heavily relying on Jokic, without him, you will never going to the Nuggets in the top seed.
Same reason why he's the MVP. Not only because he's putting up huge numbers filling up the stat sheet, but he's very valuable to the team.

Maybe they realized that targeting to break GSW record is not worth it, their main goal is to win another chip, suns need a rebuilt and get key players, booker years will be in vain, if they will not put any stars around him, there will be players available but I'm not sure if they have the assets and picks to acquire those players, their best run is with Chris Paul they should have not break that team, Paul is old but hos IQ is above all, he knows what he is doing inside the court, he prove it time and time again, its just sad that every time he is closer to the championship a major setback always happens.
