Ben Simmons' fractured right foot will make him sit out for at least 3 months. But there are rumors that he might not play this upcoming season for his recovery purposes, I don't know if this is a tanking scheme again by Philly or it is for Ben Simmons' secured recovery. Now who will win rookie of the year? I say Kris Dunn has to be tha favorite after Ben.
That's a very sad news for the prospected rookie of the year, I think he will not play for the entire season like what happen to Blake Griffin when he was injured, anyway there are still good team to watch, I am more excited to watch the warriors this season. If he is not playing for this season then he is going to ruin his carreer. He should be included in this season as recovery for such injury is not going to prevent him from trying to be the MVP for his team this season. Too bad that unfortunate thing happened to one of the best rookie when he is still on his top form maybe he need to gamble playing this season will give him more attention from his fans and make him much more competitive i think the recovery can be done in less than 3 months because of his willingness to play he still young and its time for him to show what he got. |

That broken foot could turn out to be the excuse for him not to suit up for the Sixers, at all. I read from a news that he really wanted to play for the Lakers, but the Sixers took him as their first pick. Rumors has it that his agent, being a powerful one could hold him out for the entire season even if he has fully healed after a few months of recovery and could possibly try to make a deal for him to be shipped to LA which we all know is a much larger market than Philly. |

Shame on Jason Terry he doesn't know how to value good players or opponents. Maybe he is just jealous because Kawhi did a great contribution when Spurs became champion few years ago. But I know is an humble person even Terry is underestimating him for sure Kawhi is going to react not with words, but with his gameplays. And Terry will going to eat his words. |

Actually Im agree on Terry. Also Spurs roster is really like that since then even prior to Duncan's arrival. No such thing as one man player in Spurs that will carry the team. The ball is always at rotation phase and every one is contributing. When you told Spurs to others, it's not just Tim Duncan as their first name to mentioned but also others will mention some of his teammate. Unlike in other team e.g when you say Lakers, Kobe, when you say Warriors, Steph Curry etc. That's how good Popovich is when making some good plays. Spurs is a good example of a team that doesn't relying on one superstar.
Anyways about the preseason topic above, it's important since why the hell the NBA will create and make this preseason games if it's not making sense for a team. |

Yeah, it seems that whoever they draft end up sitting in his first year (except for J.O. who played 50 plus games last year). That really sucks for those Philly fans who have been through rough times and trusted the process. With all the tanking that they did for so many years, this is what they get. Will another year of waiting be worth it? And will they be able to keep the core of these young players even for a couple of years? |

Although outside of their home still part of the game where Durant is on the floor. Anyways just a pre season game.
