My fave team MAVS finally back on track after the debut game of Dirk Nowitzki against the OKC. Yes Nowitzki didn't played for their recent preseason games because MAVS are doing some "plan" for this veteran player. Keeping up it's shape in the next season is one of their goal.

Sad to say Dirk is already too old to compete with young superstars, they are still the same team last season and what I see is that they will still not gonna make it to the playoffs, I am sorry mate but if Mavs is your team you will not see their weaknesses.

Dirk doesn't need to compete with the young superstars. Why he should? He's just doing his role every game and if you really watch Mavs game you can see how he played on the field. He doesn't need to be the main man of the team as always. And you used the word "still", they are in the playoffs last time fyi. Im not saying they are the best team since it's out of the context.

And if your eyeing for your favorite one, you can see more of their weakness. Remember their journey after championship? Remember the Lamar Odom and Rajon Rondo issue? Im not blind at those back then. Well anyways, may I ask what's their weakness since I will assume you can see that since you are not a MAVS fan?

Is Brooklyn Nets will Have a chance to make playoffs this season? Why and Why not?

Sad to say but if the organization will do nothing to cover their holes then no playoffs spots for them this upcoming season.

They are behind last time and there are teams in the East who didn't make it to the playoffs last time but now a contenders.

Nets has a terrible stats last season and for the record those other teams that didn't make it to the playoffs has some changes in their team.

New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls are one of the teams that didn't make it to the playoffs but now having a quiet chance to sealed a spot.

Well that is expected if Brookly Nets will not a make a certain move.

yeah i think dirk is already way past his prime and is already on his way following tim and kobe. he's still a very dependable player though but i think the mavs would be very hard-pressed to move past the second or third round as the competition in the west is very tight. still wishing the best for your fave team though, dirk still is one of my favorite players

yeah i think dirk is already way past his prime and is already on his way following tim and kobe. he's still a very dependable player though but i think the mavs would be very hard-pressed to move past the second or third round as the competition in the west is very tight. still wishing the best for your fave team though, dirk still is one of my favorite players

Not a big deal about that prime as long as a player can still contribute much for the team. Look at Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan etc. before their retirement look how these players still has that moves. On the other hand, Dirk still has the moves and that fade away trademark still present on thr floor.

And competition in the West is really tight for a long time and all teams there already knows the deal.

The Timberwolves won the game 105-88 against the Denver Nuggets inproving their svore to 2-1 this pre-season having Towns and Wiggins both have 18 points seems to be fine for me. I hope they are not showing their 100% this preseason so that they will surprise a lot of teams when the regular season comes.

There's pretty much nothing we can do with aging. The skills, the sharpness, the strength are slowly deteriorating as players age, and they mostly rely on veteran smarts so that they can still contribute to whatever the team needs from them. But I can see Dirk still playing for 3 more seasons. These players know their limits and they'll feel it in their bodies when the time has come to hang up their jerseys. Only a handful of players from the 90s are still actively playing. I can only name two of them: Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter.

pretty shocked to see OKC win total only 43...

I just don't see how this team doesn't win 48-50 games and is like
a 4-5 seed in the west. I think their bottom is 43 so I am taking the
over. I know they lost KD but they have a lot of talent on that team.

Its obvious that the favorite here is GSW and that is because of the decision of KD moving in GSW. Eventhough there are other superstar who moved in team up with another superstar. Still GSW is on the top of them.

Its obvious that the favorite here is GSW and that is because of the decision of KD moving in GSW. Eventhough there are other superstar who moved in team up with another superstar. Still GSW is on the top of them.

I do believe but I doubt they will take the championship this season, durant is just overrated and we have not seen yet if he is a good fit for the warriors, not every superstars can blend successfully knowing they have curry, thompson, and green.

exactly, coaches are still not showing all their cards since it scouts are all over during pre season. also it would be logical that gsw would be the most favorite team now basically because of durant's addtion, although i wouln't be so sure because there are a lot of dark horse teams both in the east and the west. also the cavs are also the defending champs, it's not going to be an easy ride to the top for gsw even with durant in their lineup

yeah three more seasons but i think his role would be from the main guy in offense to teaching the young guys on the team. same as what kobe and tim did to their respective teams before they retire. although no one can argue that dirk would still be dependable in offense when needed

Also, Cleveland doesn't seem to care much about the regular season because what matters to them is the 16 post season wins needed for another title. Would they be able to do that even if they did no major upgrade to their line up? Will Kevin Love's name appear in trade rumors again?

You mean struggle to become 1st seed of the East? I think it is best thing for the Cavs to have a good competition for them to prepare for the playoffs. With it they can adjust their line up to the best for evey play/situation. It's not a problem for the 2016 Champion because they are experienced with tough games.

Don't worry pal nothing is still happening for this season for it is just like a dry-run which is a global pre-season so there is no important thing either. I'm waiting for more update for the real season of NBA and I hope that is going to happen soon, Can anyone would please enlighten me where is the real season going to happen?
