In another news, I read that Derrick Rose is still among the highest paid endorsers of the NBA taking home $14 million. He belongs in the top 5 earners from endorsement deals with various companies. Among the names included in the list are all high profile athletes like James Harden, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and of course leading all NBA players in endorsement earnings, none other than Lebron James.
He is no.1 star in Adidas for many years, so endorser fee is very high. Now Harden got big contract with Adidas, they are big 2 in Adidas.

How about Stephen Curry, I think you forget to mentioned stephen curry, I believe he promotes under armour and I think he is also receiving a good endorsement fee. just because curry didn't belongs to nike doesn't mean that he's not getting huge payment as an endorser he should one of the top 5 too well maybe he's hiding his wealth to avoid big taxes anyway, but moving back to nba can they combined skills with durant, it is still a big question how clay and curry played with kd. they are over rated again and just like last season they seems to be a perfect team but unfortunate to complete the drama to have the nba crown.

He is talking only about the top 5 as a whole. Yes, Steph Curry is on the list of highest paid endorsers in NBA but it seems he didn't make it to the top 5. Well I think the source came from Forbes / Basketball-Reference if Im not mistaken.

OKC still has a solid roster. I don't think they finish 7 or 8.
I think they could easily be fighting for a 4-5 seed with the talent and big men they have. Granted replacing Durant sucks but the rest of the roster is solid.
Solid but not championship caliber. OKC right now looks to me a team that would be carried single handedly by WestBrook.

I will always bet on the OKC match up this season when it formally starts but this time I will fade myself and bet on the opposing team, they should be more predictable this season although they have a good coach, no wonder westbrook will make it a triple double per game but they will lose.

wow did you guys catch any given wednesday on HBO (bill simmons show) He had Kevin Durant and wow the guy all the sudden has a super big chip on his shoulder. I think all the crap he has taken for switching the warriors has made him pretty stand offish and kind of thugish. Was just shocked because KD was always such a good dude but now seems that criticism has got in his head.

At the gamblers point of view I would not expect the OKC will even make it to the playoffs, it is a different story when there are many stars in a team as no man can carry his team alone, even kobe needed shaq then gasol to make it to the championship. Westbrook not even the level of kobe on his prime.

For me im seeing my Timberwolves a slight advantage to the OKC. Don't get me wrong but the match up against them will be a tough one especially Andrew Wiggins and KAT will be entering their 3rd and 2nd year, respectively. Also Rubio is a pretty defensive player 3rd in steals in which can be a good match up for Westbrook. But I hope both of the teams will make it too the playoffs especially the wolves.

yeah i watched the replay from youtube he just wanted to show how great he is no matter who's going to play against him i think he wants to say that he's going to prove that he's the best remeber kd still young and still have a lots of potentials MJ and LJ didn't get the rings right away they needed to have solid back up on their back maybe KD can be like that if he dominated the whole gsw team even curry and clay are there too.

Because I see they still don't have enough good in defeating their opponents It's either the Minnesota Timberwolves purposely lose and tank this season to get another young prospect or try to win it all and hopefully attract big name players. It is not impossible for this state to attract big name players as Billups, Cassell and Sprewell have played with the team. Hopefully Kris Dunn will be a Star for Minnesota hoping for him to steal the Rookie of the Year awards and maybe trade Rubio for a good shooting guard.

Yes Thunders is still Thunders even without Durant. But we are talking of the West teams here. I see odds for reaching 4th or 5th spot for OKC is really low. Better at 6th to 8th spot. Thunders defense on the board has been minimized since they acquired small players from Magic in exchange to Ibaka. Hopefully Donovan will make some good mix on the boards to fill the gap. I agree. OKC will really have a hard time to breached the 4th or 5th spot in the West. The percentage is much lower too for 6th to 8th so how much more on the 4th to 5th. Let's just wait how Westbrook will lead this team to the playoffs stardom.

Looks like Miami Heat's percentage for being a East contender became much lower this coming season.
Miami Heat are not that comfortable in clearing him to play for a long-term due to blood clots. Also doctors told Chris Bosh that his career was probably over during the winter after the discovery of a second blood clot in his leg and Bosh has been fighting the diagnosis for the past six months.
Bosh is still performing well in his era alongside James, Wade and Melo. This is part of the reality of a superstar's experience.

I wonder if the NBA players since the league starts up here soon will start doing the protests of the national anthem like whats going on in the NFL. I am pretty sure they have a rule if you don't stand etc you guys a fine from the league unlike the nfl. Just curious as to what's going to happen.

They may not win a ton of games but it will be fun to watch. Sixth or seventh seed, maybe.and with Bosh off the bench they will find a diffrent path could be a better or worse for them then last yeat.

The only thing that makes the heat fun to watch was because of wade, this season they do not have wade already so we know that will happen already, a team without a superstar is not fun to watch IMO.

And it's quite not hard (but not that easy) to take a spot in the Eastern Conference than in the West. Miami Heat is still can consider as above average team so taking playoffs spot is possible for them. Also no big movements and rotations of players in the East as of the moment.

Last season, Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks didn't make it to the playoffs so there will be a struggle I think in the 5th to 8th spot for Miami Heat. So I think the chance of taking the 2 spot will now be taken from this team. Miami Heat must maintained good record and try to outshine the other East team especially the New Orleans Hornets, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers. Well the top 2 maybe Cavs and Raptors again.
