Miami would be a perfect fit for Kyrie, they've got good bigs there. Kyrie would be complete their missing piece.
yeah right if kyrie will go to miami he can be a big lift for them as kyrie wants to be star on its own and he needed some help out from promising young guns if ever this deal can be complete east would a much interested playoffs unlike with the previous season where we knew that cavs will still go and
advance to the finals.
Miami Heat has a good coach, despite the fact that there are not stars in the team they were still able to compete with great teams and they almost made it to the playoffs last season, they had a good point guard already and I don't think Kyrie will make a difference when he will land in that team.

Kyrie Irving will lift the Miami Heat for sure but the real question is can he lift it enough to make them contenders? For a team having a nice center with Hassan Whiteside and a good SG with James Johnson I just think that it will be enough until they reach the 2nd round of the eastern playoffs. If he really wants to be a star then joining Miami or even Knick could be the trick for him.

Is LeBron James’ Instagram Story directed at Kyrie Irving?

IfKyrie Irving and LeBron James have moved their seemingly real disconnect into social-media beef, you’ll have an easy time believing LeBron is taking a shot at Irving here.

The Cavaliers superstar posted a video of himself singing along to Meek Mill’s “1942 Flows.” Via Sports Illustrated:

https://sports.yahoo.com/lebron-james-latest-snapchat-directed-172155527.html

LOL. I find it funny watching this video. But I honestly don't think that Lebron is taking a shot at Irving. What do you think?

There's a lot of things that is going on to his mind now, he will not be the star in a team that does not really do well.
Spurs is only the best team he should be and he need to accept that leonard is the star there and he cannot replace that, even parker know how
good leonard is and IMO he is as great like Durant, Lebron, and Westbrook.

I think Golden State Warriors still unstoppable next season. Maybe only 2 or 5 top NBA team as title contender for Curry and folks.
Anyone have created thread for 2017/2018 season yet?

I think Miami is one of the only destinations where Kyrie can make an impact right now and make it a contender since the East is so weak. He won't be doing that alone though but if Miami can make another deal and bring a couple of good role players it might. I don't know why he mentioned Miami as a destination other than the city/climate (and no LA?), maybe he knows something we don't and Riley has a plan for him and others. He did it once and he can do it again now that Wade's out.

The Wolves, Suns and even the Spurs have it so much worse than the Heat with the Warriors on their path so that's definitely an advantage.

Are you ok? Why thinking of creating a new thread for 2017-2018 season? We are already here and this thread is enough to have a discussion with our fellow NBA bitcointalk community.

I just wondered who's player will be traded on line if Kyrie deal will be done here. Surely the players involved is worth to trade for Cavaliers to accept it, (unless it will be a three team trade). I doubt Riley will destroy their current set of main man roster just to be traded on Irving. Well who knows.

That's the biggest issue there i think. Teams definitely would be interested in kyrie though they may not have a player with the same caliber for a fair trade, or if they have one, they may not be willing to part from that player. Imagine how the cavs would be next season with kyrie still in their lineup LOL

We are still a few months away from the start of the next regular season so I expect other teams to propose trades for Kyrie Irving, and it will be done even before we know it. The Cavs would still be the Eastern favorites even without Kyrie, for as long as they can fill the gaps / holes that will be left by Kyrie. With the correct mix of players, Cleveland is still poised to win the East. The question is how much would they challenge the Warriors who would be more dangerous because of the better familiarity among the players.

No need, the OP will just updated the title thread to reflect the 2017/18 as what he did for previous years.

We really still don't know how this trade will go on. A lot of teams have been courting Kyrie and the GM wants to get the best possible option not only for the Cavs now, but for the future of the team. I guess the GM job is not easy after all. But I'm sure that Kyrie will be traded, there's no way that he will go back to Cavs uniform as the news is already out and he and Lebron can't mend and will probably be worst if they still don the same jersey for 2017-2018 season.

Yeah most likely it will involve a three way deal or more, as with other teams mentioned like Suns, Wolves and Knicks. The only team that may trade for Irving directly is the Spurs since they can deal Green, Aldridge or Mills for him and the Cavs will certainly take two of them straight up.

And I think Riley already have a decent team with zero all-stars, the East is easy and if they can add Kyrie and a couple of medium level veteran role players that can help him they will be back in the playoffs in no time with a decent chance to get into the East finals.

The NBA is yet boring again for another season.  Smiley

Super-team dominance isn't healthy for the league at all IMO.

This thread is already good for 2017-2018 as OP can just change the title or it's understandable that this thread is for NBA. We will see if the Golden State Warriors is still unstoppable, every season is not that the same from the past. It's either this is the regime of GSW but we will never know if they can play consistently.

Warriors would definitely have a hard time to defend their title. Why? A lot of teams did upgrade their lineups and most likely a contender team. Like Wolves, Philly, Celtics, and Houston. Though I still wanted to see Spurs to win this season. Unfortunately, they didn't upgrade much their line up. I hope that they could still have the intensity of a championship team. They must not put all the weight on Kawhi's shoulder but instead they must do more with or without him.

The New York Knickerbockers announced today that the team has signed forward Michael Beasley. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Beasley, 6-9, 235-pounds, holds career averages of 12.6 points and 4.7 rebounds over 23.5 minutes in 509 games (206 starts) over nine seasons with Miami, Minnesota, Phoenix, Houston and Milwaukee.

I think Golden State Warriors still unstoppable next season. Maybe only 2 or 5 top NBA team as title contender for Curry and folks.
Anyone have created thread for 2017/2018 season yet?

Hate to say it but i dont see anyone beating Warriors. The West looks really strong this year. I feel bad for Lebron. no one wants to play with him

Yes every season is different especially some teams added great player in their line up but isn't GSW known for being consistent, it was. This is the era of GSW, they will play consistent as long as no one in their key player will gone, both starting and bench.

The very special attribute have for GSW is they will make sure they can retain there players so that they can maximize the chemistry to their players and they have great selection on rookies since they will make sure that it can blend to their plays and theirs no doubt from next season that GSW is still the main problem of the other team to get the championship rings.

Definitely, every team wants to defend its title. Warriors should be 3x champion by now. I hope they will established like like Chicago Bulls back then. No one can really touch when Jordan is around, with Warriors, Steph and Durant leading the team. Its really nice that teams are upgrading their line up, but for me Warriors is above all teams now with their roster intact, chemistry of the players are still there and they are one with the Management. Goal is to win another trophy for this year for them.

For me warriors is a complete team with each different skills on there position. There main 5 is as igoudala the fifth men is a good combo for a championship. These are the lineup that the other team are trying to compete against. And from what i see this year has the most ridiculous trades. Cavs also are would make some weird trades but both this finalist teams are trying to have minimal trade. Even though they acquired rose, his contract is just 2 million so i guess its a win situation for the cavs.
