Lakers they have the dominant players and provably they will be the biggest contender thru finals.
They are playing against a very short handed Warriors, please don't make judgment on this game and easy to conclude that they will be the best contender in the Finals. You are hurting our feelings man, lol... seriously, we also have the Clippers, the Rockets, and the Nuggets, they are some of the good team in the West that could compete against the Lakers in the series, I don't want to be so confident about the Lakers this season as there's a lot of teams that are playing well also, like the teams I've mentioned above. Honestly, the Lakers are performing very well right now and they are at the top of the ranking in the West. It is still very early in this season but if the Lakers continue to perform the way they play and their stars stay healthy, they can be the best contender for the Finals.
They need Howard more. The Stuperman. Howard is working double now he is back in Lakers. I do not know what happened to him but he is playing like he is in his prime.

Mcgee has been horrible this year, just because dude played one good game doesn't mean he is back on lineup with ease without losing any minutes. Kuzma was injured and Dwight got so many minutes while Kuzma was gone, so now today Mcgee provided great support and he is not a bad player and he knows his role and does it but lets not forget the first 7-8 games Dwight played like he used to and grabbed a ton of boards.
Now, Lakers (even when they lost cousins) got 2 good centers that could actually stand their positions, they are not superstars but they are not weaknesses in the team neither, all they need now is to find a good guard, they played Caruso for 28 minutes last night ffs, players who are normally shooting guards are playing at PG in Lakers for the past 10 games.

they face clippers with a tired and horrible Jetlag situation back to back after Lakers.
There is no jetlag anymore, the game is still played at the same arena since Lakers and Clippers are both LA team. Maybe there's a fatigue factor since Raptors has to play a back to back games, but believe me, they are professional and they know this, so it isn't a big issue here. The second night of back to backs certainly do play a factor in how the game results. You can go back through all of the years and see that (when evenly matched) the team on the second night of a back to back against a team who is not typically always loses. Add in a 3 hour time difference, body clocks still exist a day or 2 after arrival. It's not a guarantee of course but it is a huge factor in wins and loses.

There's a reason why load management is becoming a thing right now. The teams do not want their injury prone and having minor injury superstars to play two straight games. The body is exhausted and another game the very next day can trigger a hurting bone or muscle. So most teams will choose their home court or an easier game for their stars. On that LA back to back game, I knew the Raptors chance is to get one or losses both.

Well said mate. There's a reason why load management is becoming a thing right now.
In the first place, it should not. These players or we called superstars are been in the league for several years. Their body maintenance is being maintained by the latest state of the art technology and lots of expensive exercises, supplements and a strict diet. There are other players who don't involve that load management workload in their career and can also play back-to-back games but still going on a rampage every time on the court and will come out healthy after the game. LBJ, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, Blake Griffin, Kevin Garnett..

I do not know what happened to him but he is playing like he is in his prime.
Inspiration or maybe doing everything in return for what Lakers did to him since after all, most of us here don't expect that Dwight Howard will shine again or be include on a top-caliber team. He's been on 5 teams already within just a 5 season period so this just shows how ineffective he is now. But that changed now. Not just him but the Lakers another big man, JaVale Mcgee is also doing good. Their tandem is really looking good so far and we are just in the early phase of the season. “If I’m having a bad game then he’s picking me up. If he’s having a bad game then I’m picking him up. If we’re both having a great game, we’re winning the game. It’s pretty good. I like it,” Howard to Mcgee.

Load management should not be the reason to disappoint their fans who paid for their tickets just to see their favorite team or players play. This should be dealt with seriously to avoid fans from being disappointed because of this actions from the team management.

Kawhi has had a history (in san antonio) of getting hurt. The clippers are in this to win in june, not to win every game in November. The nba season is a marathon, it's all about who is healthy by playoffs than who has the most wins in november and december. I have no problem with it at all. Winning an nba championship involves a lot of tactics....Toronto did it with Kawhi last year, how did that work out for them having a completely healthy Kawhi come playoff time. No shame in that

he wasn't fully healthy but he can play, but this announcement is not because of load management. Here's the news regarding Leonard's status and Patrick Beverley. https://www.nba.com/article/2019/11/14/paul-george-kawhi-leonard-status-clippers-vs-pelicansLA Clippers forward Paul George seems likely to make his season against the New Orleans Pelicans (8 ET, League Pass). He's officially listed as probable.
This would also be George's team debut, playing his first minutes for his hometown team in L.A.
The Clippers still won't be at full strength for Thursday's contest, however, as Kawhi Leonard (left knee injury management) and Patrick Beverley (sore left calf) are both out.
The clippers are in this to win in june, not to win every game in November. The nba season is a marathon, it's all about who is healthy by playoffs than who has the most wins in november and december. I have no problem with it at all. That's right, they are employing tactics here so they will have a fully healthy Leonard in the playoffs.

What are you expectations on PG come back, can he be as efficient as Leonard?
Now, that Leonard is not going to play against the Pelicans, do you think the Clippers are still gonna win this game?

That kind of question looks like a disrespect for the whole Los Angeles Clippers. Of course, they can win even without Leonard or George. Is Leonard the only one who is playing at its best level for the Clippers?

No shame in that Maybe you have no problem with it but not with the majority. And it has something to do even for a 100% healthy player. Read here: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/giannis-antetokounmpo-makes-it-clear-hes-no-fan-of-load-management-i-want-to-play/Giannis was offered to take a break sometimes but dude declined it. Meaning the system was allowed even on a healthy player. It's not NBA anymore if all those superstars will sometimes take a break to have a preparation for NBA playoffs. If that's the case then what's the reason they played for? I'd rather see limited minutes or those baby superstar will not enter the court if they down by 10 points compared to this absence where fans are expecting to see them. They pay tickets for that. Are you really fine with that system? https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/michael-jordan-doesnt-agree-with-players-sitting-out-due-to-load-management-youre-paid-to-play-82-games/

Even MJ disagree's with it, therefore this load management has to be reviewed by the NBA as it might affect the reputation of the business and the sales might go down, you know what saying. Leonard sits in many games during his tenure with the Raptors, but there was no criticism on that, maybe people just got tired of seeing it because Leonard is more visible now since he has become a superstar in the NBA and no doubt about that. This rules has to be reviewed, that's my say.

As you said, 5 teams in 5 seasons. That is not a good thing. If he is really that good then he needs a max contract. He is needs to show off those abilities that he have or once had. A big man with an agility of a small forward. That is something rare which comes in NBA. But because of his foolishness, people are making fun of him. Time to get serious to preserve his career.

Unfortunately Leonard didn't play and the clippers loses the game, PG debut is impressive having 33points in just 24mins of playing. This team really have a good chance competing for this year's title. With healthy Leonard and PG this Clippers squad can create a new dynasty, too early though to conclude but knowing how PG wanted to have a ring they will try to push it forward.

Everyone missing on the news/rumors that Melo will signing with the Blazers?
The details is not that clear yet though, some say he will have a non-guaranteed deal. While others mentioned that it's a one-year $2.2 Million contract.

I have read like 3-4 articles and they all said Carmelo has signed to a non-guaranteed contract, which will put him in a probationary period. He will join the Blazers on saturday ,but it's still uncertain on when he will be able to join the action inside the court. Carmelo was out of the NBA for more than a year but Ive seen articles and facebook posts about him working out in the gym trying to get back into shape. I hope this will work out for the Blazers, as I can still feel Carmelo could still be a 10-15 ppg.

Paul George makes his debut for the Clippers against New Orleans Pelicans, it's a good news for the Clippers. with Lou Williams Leonard Khawi and Paul George they can make a good season even they can go soo far and win the NBA title.
His debut game with the Pelicans right now end up with a loss as they lost against NOP 132-127 although he did a great job alongside with Williams with both of them have 33 & 31 points respectively. Everyone missing on the news/rumors that Melo will signing with the Blazers?
The details is not that clear yet though, some say he will have a non-guaranteed deal. While others mentioned that it's a one-year $2.2 Million contract.
Base on the article here: The non-guaranteed deal will reportedly pay Anthony $14,490 for each day he is on the Blazers' roster, according to Bobby Marks at ESPN. LinkMaybe time for redemption for him? He is 35 years old right now and he can play around 4-5 years at most if he can stay on the NBA unless he will do what Carter is doing .
