There are so much things that he needs to prove before he could be listed there.

We are just blown away at how this guy plays in the floor but let us not go overboard into predicting the future all of a sudden.

TBH, Luca is my pick for the MVP race at this moment because of how he plays in these past games. I knew someone who can beat him for being the least defensive player. Yup! It's Lebron James . Am I the inly one who notice this or not. Look how he guard his opponents, he didn't contest them too much. I don't see him chasing players or do a face to face blocking attempts. I don't know if it's natural to him or just protecting his ego from getting baited by others' fancy moves? (For me, it was the latter part).

I absolutely agree. You don't need to be special first before to become a legendary because hardwork and dedication can lead you on that spot. Actually, he already did a lot for age 20 . Despite of being young in the league he can already carry his team and beat veteran superstars, while me (or maybe you as well)? My lungs can't even stand straight running back to back in the court for 3 times. See the big difference? Chill bro, let the kid have his time making his own legacy.

Undoubtedly, Luca is playing an MVP caliber type of basketball so far this season. Though, LeBron is tailing close on the ladder, but If Luca will consistently make his team win most of the games, he'll probably unbeatable at the top spot for the MVP award.
As much as I also want Luca to become the youngest MVP in the NBA, but I can't ignore the fact how LeBron are still showing great leadership, skills, and strength in his 17th  season.

It's a long season indeed, anything can happen along the way. If Luka will continue playing like this without any injuries the chance is really high for him as he have that stats. It's not the scoring but the total performances, Lebron in the side also have this qualification even he's not getting that scoring but the total impact that he have for his team showed why they are in the top seed.

It's very hard to predict so far but as soon as the quarter finals started then that's the time where we can have a hint on who is gonna be the next MVP. Anyway, about the Luka's chance of becoming one, hmm not so impossible for me. There's no question about the skills because he got his own magic, the only thing which bothers me is that can he and his team reach the finals? I'm not being pessimistic but I think they can't.
