They might be the most stacked team in history. If the Lakers don’t pick up Drummond I’m not sure any other team in the NBA has a chance. This Nets squad could probably take down the 2016 Warriors...

Yeah, could be the most stack up teams in the modern era. Even the '96 can't match with this the Nets.

Imagine that what a solid 5 star starter and I think many teams are now preparing hard to beat the nets. They are now closer to get the ring with these guys but let still see how they fit on the team since we know big stars always want to show some good career higlights.

I'm very sure that there will be a nice competition for the center position between D. Jordan and L. Aldridge. They are both good centers. Nets can have difficulties while making a choice. But I believe both of them will play very nicely.

I'm very sure that there will be a nice competition for the center position between D. Jordan and L. Aldridge. They are both good centers. Nets can have difficulties while making a choice. But I believe both of them will play very nicely.

I think DeAndre Jordan will still be the starting center with the Nets and probably Aldridge coming in the middle of the first quarter to replace him. Unless Nash wanted to switch the two regarding the starting center. Aldridge has matured already and he could be power forward or true center and could play both positions. Just like what AD is doing, last season it's either Howard or McGee as center and then AD as power forward. So I think Jordan can still be inserted in the picture here.

That's correct. He's listed as a power forward.
But with the game Nets will play it won't matter to them.
They need speed and shooters and Aldridge fits the description needed by the team.

Could also be the reason why they are not offering anything to Drummond. They have Jordan already which can focus on rebounds and they just want to someone to fill the blank whenever Jordan needs a rest. I bet they will use Aldridge more as a center.

I think Deandre Jordan will keep his starting position, the trick here is that Blake Griffin is not healthy, and if you have Lamarcus Aldridge and Deandre Jordan both playing together, you are creating a huge line up, but you are also risking on defense a lot because both players are not great on defense when it comes to guarding people outside.

So, I think it will be a bit of like Blake and Deandre playing at PF and C on starting, and they will be forced to rest a lot anyway, not like they can play all game, so LMA will probably be the sixth guy coming in to keep them away all the time, like take Deandre out and put LMA in and then put deandre in but take blake out so LMA plays 20+ minutes per game that way. I am not sure how they are planning on doing it honestly, it is going to be a bit hard to handle it, but it is going to definitely be a huge help for them to get the ring.

Are we keep ignoring the fact that Bulls pretend to be what they are not ? A team who wants the play-offs ? I mean last night Spurs were laughing at some point because they felt they could score how they like and with who they want. The only positive fact I could saw in Bulls last night was the desire to never give up no matter what big is the score on the table so and Vucevic showed some class and really encourage some teammates who were feeling down because of missing shots.

Something like that. But unlike Lakers last season, the turned off events from different teams are really interesting. Just like how Denver
solidify their front lines.

It's just an example and if Lakers able to sign Drummond which really a big help to body himself inside together with a healthy LeBron and AD. Not a sure deal for the Nets even they've got a very solid squad.

Clippers also take a good step for bringing a playmaker, Rondo are capable to create space while PG and Kawhai are working.

It seems like he needs to iron out a few formalities before signing the contract, considering that he will become an unrestricted free agent today. Anyway, this deal will be helpful for the Lakers, and I hope Drummond will be a great teammate for Lebron and AD.

Another win by the Nets though, James Harden again, pouring 40++ points against Detroit. A lot of emotions specially Blake Griffin playing against his former team. He did have 17 points. Not enough time for Detroit to at least force the game into OT.

A huge improvement by Griffin from his previous game which he only scored 2 points.
I hope this will continue, Griffin contributing at least 15 points per game, with some rebounds as well, I think hat would be big enough as a contribution.

Nice game for them but they should really need to improve on how to take care of their lead. Because that's also what happened to them last time when they're in good lead but still able to be coped up by their opponent.

I can understand that they maybe have some problem in keeping up their lead because they only have Harden, Irving and Durant are still out, in fact my Nets has already surpass my expectation on how they will perform without the 2 stars, what matters now is they win and they keep winning even Harden is the only one among the big 3 is carrying the team.

Yes, that's what matters is they keep winning. But they should really learn that because it happened quite few times and that's the weakness that we can see so far.
Overall, they're one of the strongest teams that we have in the league, and now with Aldridge, a huge plus.

Lakers were better off keeping both McGee and Howard in the offseason...

I look at Drummond as a slightly improved version of Tristan Thompson for LeBron in his days with the Cavs. Drummond can't shoot, atrocious fg% as a center considering he is only finishing inside at 47%. He will be a huge liability at the free-throw line with 58%. At least the Nets didn't get another body, other than that, he can up his orebs catching Pope and Kuzma's 3pt bricks.

Honestly I miss the 80s and 90s nba where the best players wanted to play against each other and not with each other.  Made for a balanced nba and great rivalries.  This is getting to be a joke...

I'm with you man, though I love the Lakers and the Nets, but I don't like how greedy they are to form a super team just to win a championship, players can't be blame here, it should be the management of the NBA who should make an action to this, its' killing the excitement for some teams knowing we have a super teams which most of us will follow.

One team, one superstar, I guess that would be enough, if we look at the Nets line up, there starters are all ALL STAR players.
