These 2 centers are nothing when we compared their stats to Andre Drummond last season and also this season.

Drummond is playing dominantly in defense in Cleveland while at the same time, contributing to the offense. McGee and Howard aren't like that and they already past their prime.  A good decision for the Lakers to release those 2 centers before the season starts as part of their bench improvement. Drummond will be an important key to the Lakers and I'm now excited to see how he will blend to Anthony Davis.

I think we can argue that "if ain't broke, don't fix it" paradigm. I say Javale is having one of his best seasons with the Lakers, he no longer "Shaq-A-Fool" staple. While Howard showing his muscle specially in the playoffs. I guess though it boils down to the salary, that's why they have to let him go.

As for Drummond, he needs to adjust with two superstars on the roster, Bron and AD and him at center and then Harrell playing his usual spot. Gasol coming off the bench.

Pelicans vs Celtics is an interesting match up. One would expect Celtics to win but the previous 2 meeting have gone to Pelicans. Zion playing a crucial part in both the matches. It is going to be a close affair. who you got? Although Pre match odds favor Celtics but I think Pelicans might take it away.

McGree and Howard are more of providing quality minutes for the Lakers that time, they don't need to score more, they just have to do their job. Similar to the Bulls before, no dominant center. Drummond on the other hand is the first or second option when he was in the Cavs. And now that he is joining Lebron James and Anthony Davis, he will be the 3rd or 4th options, so we don't know if he can have the same numbes.

Yes, everyone knows... LeBron James makes a LOT of difference in the team, and he is one of the most experienced players in the league!

Although Drummond is a little short for his position, but he is very dominant in the painted part of the court, and can get several rebounds

He has a very impressive stats, averaging 17 ppg and 13.5 TRB.. I think that will scare the other teams.
Drummond has finally found a championship team and he is expected to perform his best to help the Lakers in a back to back championship.

Yes, exactly!! We are almost sure that the NBA "finals" will be between Nets and Lakers if they find themselves in a possible WCF lol
Drummond is "only" 6-10 tall, imagine if he was 7ft or 7-1, he would be unstoppable!

I'm anxious to seeing the Nets and Lakers playing with their complete squad.

Their next match is April 11, so it's like two weeks from now. Hopefully that time we might see Lakers playing Drummond already, not sure if Lebron or Davis will be available that time. On the Nets side, maybe Kyrie is already playing as well.

So we will see, I think it will be one of the most anticipated match specially if those injured are playing by that time.

Well, not a good debut for Evan Fournier and it even makes an NBA history, totally not a good start for him and worst than that they can't even get the win and you got that the Pelicans take it away.

Why would I watch regular season and play-offs now? Salary cap used to have a meaning, now whole organisation is a joke.

As a long-time NBA enthusiast, you should be used to it.

It might be killing the competition but there are surprises. See how Miami Heat climb their way up in the last year's Finals upsetting those dominant ones? The Clippers who got wrecked by the Denver Nuggets is also one of a good example of a big upset in the last year's playoffs.

As for the Net's, yes they are now fully stacked but it doesn't mean they can't be beaten in a series.

And besides, as a bettor, we shouldn't take that as a big deal.

It just gives them the higher chance for a championship but it doesn't mean the winner had been announced or the NBA should stop at this moment because of the stars joining in one team.
Sure, the balance may seem to be off right now but they have their own strengths.
Nuggets is one which for me looks underrated.
It's not really about individual players on that team but because of their chemistry.
Suns also has a good chance to defeat the Nets team. The leadership of CP3 made a large change on them putting Ayton and Booker at a higher level of performance.

Looks like Pelicans has been improving, they started winning and beating good teams. I think I like them to be in the playoffs because Zion seemed to be getting good help from his teammates, the transfer of Adams to this team was really a huge help.

Good, I think they are peaking at the right now, only few games left in the pre playoff, if they continue to be consistent in the last remaining games they will be in the good position as it is getting tougher now. They have to show that they have what it takes to be a playoff team and Zion and Ingram should lead the team. Specially Zion, as he might be the centerpiece of this franchise in the future.

This will lighten AD load, Its great move for the lakers, it would have been bad if they have to get Aldridge, he got problems on his back i think, Drummond is comfortable in his position and LeBron will be happy having to towers while he operates outside and make some slash inside, I'm still curious why the nets pursue Aldridge, Jordan is a big man and what they need is a great depender on the wing.

If healthy I just don't see nets losing 4 games in a 7 game series unless the other team is the Lakers.  No offense to the other teams.  In a one or 2 game yeah anyone can win but these two teams just have too much fire power(again...if healthy).  And I love Kawhi's game, one of my favorite players to watch.

DeAndre Jordan isn't what he use to now and the Brooklyn Nets signing Aldridge is just a sign that they need to satisfy the needs on what Jarett Allen has given to them before they traded him out, Allen was one of the best centers out there but unfortunately he was part of the package to get Harden. They tried starting Jordan after that but it obviously showed that he can't fill the role on what Allen is doing. Also Aldridge like Blake Griffin is a sign of how Brooklyn is desperate to win everything this season like what they did before with the super team they tried to build with Paul Pierce, Deron Williams, and Kevin Garnett which they failed to win the championship now they are doing it again as well.

However I have this feeling in my gut telling me that there will be some injury, some mishap, something and these teams will not meet in the finals. That's just something I feel, obviously if we have 100% healthy all players these two teams would be near impossible to beat, so there is a big chance they will make it to finals but who can guarantee that an injury will not happen? I do not think that is possible, which is why I think it's quite possible that we could end up seeing some other team there.

This thing cant be avoided though but a season or lets say that finals with having less or near zero injuries is really much more entertaining to watch because of the presence of those
popular star players together with their team and you can really see their best performance in that case.

Overthinking about probabilities just because you do have some hunch or guts do tell you would just be giving out some stress.
