Great first game from the bucks and Miami.  What a shot by Middleton with defense blanketing him drops the game winner with .5 to go.  Gut wrenching loss in ot for the heat but I have a feeling this one has 6 or even 7 games in it

Even though Jimmy forces the OT, the game was so great that but he didn't manage to get the win in their first game. nevertheless, this is how it should be. Playoffs games are not any other regular games in the NBA, every team is competing to get to the finals with every skill and strength they have. the game between the Clippers and Mavericks is also a close game, they are now in the 4th quarter with less than 1 minute to play, I think Mavs will get this win today.

Luka and Dallas upsets Clippers in their first game.

Clippers missed a lot of free-throws (best FT team), and it seems that Kawhi and Leonard are again unable to prove whey they are one of the best team in the West. They choked again, they were able to get the lead in the fourth quarter but can't sustain it because of poor defense and bad shooting.

Memphis Grizzlies deserved play-offs more than Warriors. I'm eagerly waiting for Ja Morant's increasing level of performance.
Today Milwaukee passed Miami in overtime, Antetokounmpo should've played better, Middleton carried the team. In Western Conference match-up Mavericks won first game thanks to Doncic. I expect better second match from Leonard and George. By the way Leonard's poster was a great moment. In case you missed it, watch here.

Nets big 3 is shooting 0-11 from 3 point range so far in the first half.  Hard to believe but it certainly won’t continue like that in the second half. Outside of their bad shooting it’s been a good game so far. I think the tides will turn in the second half but so far the Celtics appear to be getting a bit of luck on their side to go along with the lead.

Net is coming back, and a swing on the third quarter, they've hit some three's already to take the lead. But Boston keeps coming back to make to game close here.

@ingiltere - was a good win by the Dallas against Clippers, George an Leonard was somewhat has a disappointed as they allow Dallas to steal one from them. Rondo did provide some spark and shows his championship experience, but Mavs bench provided 23 points, 15 coming from  Jalen Brunson.

And yes, it's fixed after the 1st half. I think it's a new jersey.
Celtics giving the Nets a difficult time thru their defense. Robert Williams stepping up and protecting the rim, he already got 6 blocks and the game is not even over yet. All his efforts are giving the Celtics team more energy to try and defeat the Nets in their homecourt.
It could've been better if Jaylen Brown is around to help Tatum for their offense.

I am 100% convinced Brooklyn finds a way to lose this game.

Those forced 3s are worthless. Durant 1 of 8 and keeps shooting instead of using size and agility to go to the basket to score or force a foul.

They should be up by 10-15 if they play smarter but now it a 1 pos game with Boston ball and 7min to play.

Also 8 points off the bench with 4/12 shooting is just ridiculous, they will never win anything with this kind of support.

I think Boston has looked horrible all game. The second half was absolutely terrible. I didn’t know who this Robert Williams guy was before the game but he damn near has a triple double with blocks (new Celtic record). He has changed the entire defense for the Celtics and kept the nets off balance all game. Without him and the poor early Nets shooting this game would have surely been a blowout. Still a decisive victory for the Nets (in 3 more minutes).

Brooklyn ruined my 21 bet odds by having a points behind 2.5 against Celtics on the first quarter. I never thought that they will have a slow start against Celtics considering there All star line-up though.

It was really sad to see that Warriors were eliminated by Grizzlies 112-117 after overtime. Curry must be really disappointed to see this even though he tried his best. He had 39 pts, 4 reb and 5 ast.

Enough about that, game is over and I'm sure Curry had already moved on.

He will just wait for his brother to wake up for next season.

Meanwhile, congratulations to the Milwaukee Bucks for winning game 1.

Without thompson this season goldenstate have come far. Too bad klay still hasnt recovered this would be a diffrent play off with both curry and thompson in the game. Splash brothers have beening killing it before its really sad to see klay out this much. If goldenstate can get a good player next year and klay to be back they can easily attack the title

Yes, it's really a good season  even without Klay, that attempt to reach the playoff is far enough with this new sqaud,

Considering all the hard work from chef curry and the rest of the team, for sure with Klay next season if in case and this
new selection the future of this team still good.
With Klay's help bringing additional fire power and his defensive skill, the trio of Draymond , Klay and Steph.

wow, great games in the first round of the playoffs!
Luka as always had a good start and stood out, making a triple-double and with 31 points scored.
Bucks vs Heat was an interesting game, Butler played consistently, but unfortunately he didn’t make the Heat win the game

@OgNasty , I think, because Boston does not have a player as a reference and experienced to be able to guide the team to victory!
I think Tatum is not yet a player to be able to "carry the team on his back"
I'm sure, in his future he can be the reference and highlight player in Boston ... but in my humble opinion, I think it needs to develop to reach that level

Next time they won't be as lucky as what happened today. The Nets team having a bad night but could still win a game. So how bad will it be when the trio have a good night? 
They discovered a new rim protector for their team, they might want to focus on defending the outside shots in Game 2.

Trail Blazers won versus the Nuggets in their home. Wow! But the Blazers should not hold back just because they got the upper hand now.
Nuggets have a history of turning around a 3-1 record twice last year. Melo should keep making those accurate shots that he did today. It was fun watching him contribute for a win. 50 percent FG 6/12 and 3PT 4/8 for 22 minutes.

They really need klay curry's offense is predictable now since there no other scorer in the team, also klay defense is notable, if they wan't another run at the ring klay must be healthy the only question now is , will klay stay long in the bay area, once pre agency came, their supporting cast were good we can see it this year so klay return will be a big boost.

I'm so happy playoff basketball is here.  While this season has still been a bit abnormal due to the start time and shortened game schedule, it's nice to be out of the bubble and into what feels like a bit more normal of a playoff situation.  Looking forward to a month of overeating, drinking too much, swearing at various local public televisions and having an all around great time.  It doesn't get too much better than the NBA playoffs.  Don't forget to have fun and surround yourself with some other NBA fans!

There is nothing better than seeing fans in the stands (no matter the sport). I said few times already that Suns will eliminate the Lakers (probably in six) and the other game I expect with huge interest is Knicks - Hawks. I like the way NY play D and in my opinion this will be the key in the series.

Brooklyn Nets made a really good start to the playoff games. They managed to beat Celtics home 104-93 home and got ahead 1-0 in the series. It looks like Durant, Harden and Irving all had a really decent performance. But I noticed that their performance when it comes to the 3-pointers was too bad.

The three of them are good shooters, but it was just horrendous shooting during their first game, and I would say that they are lucky they were able to hold the Celtics in the first 2 quarters.

But it's pressure time and the 3's save them in the third quarter. So a win is a win for them. Jaylen Brown is terribly missed by Boston in this playoffs. Tatum can't do it alone, Kemba Walker should really step up, he was not the typical Walker that can shoot outside and dribble penetrate. I think his performance has really gone down.

A very interesting start to the playoffs. A surprise for me in Los Angeles, but Luka managed to lead his team to victory. I keep my fingers crossed for Dallas, but I don't think that Doncic will do it 3 times. A very tight game in Milwaukee. Beautiful in its ugliness. I suspect that the whole series will be look like.

Dame Time, they are hitting there 3 points that's why they won. And it seems that Denver is shooting fatigue as well, they don't have the energy they used to have and it's evident that in this playoff Murray is needed.

Yeah, fun to watch Melo in this playoff, good shooting night for him and overall the Blazers are the better team in game 1.
