I'm surprised, LAL with complete team, lost the game.
I confess... the Suns stood out and it was a deserved victory. I can see, the Lakers need to work hard to be able to win the next games.
Kuzma played 19 minutes and scored no points, how is this possible ?! 

I am worried about CP3, again he get injuried in playoffs, but I think it was not serious, any news about his shoulder???

Well as you can see, we have several posts back discussing Kuzma's inconsistency and that is evident in this game 1.

Suns played good defense as well and then Lakers can't stop Devin Booker in this game. Lakers struggle as a team though, Davis, Lebron, Harrell and Drummond can't get things going for them. So we will see how they are going to adjust in game 2. Obviously, the Suns has the momentum, but let's see how CP3 is, let's hope he is ok and can play in this series.

Memphis Grizzlies upsets the Utah Jazz. Nice. I am amazed with how wise Kyle Anderson and think clearly making a foul (penalty) to avoid a 3 point shot.
Fouling out Rudy Gobert by attacking the paint and switches was also the reason they won this game.
That's a good tactic by the Memphis Coach Taylor Jenkins and with Ja Morant leading them, they can win games even if they are the number 1 seed or GSW in the play-in tournament. But I think Mitchell will be playing in Game 2 and it's going to be more entertaining.

I thought only few will saw how intelligent Kyle Anderson is on the last seconds of the game. They are leading by 3 and he fouled Bogdanovic just to take 2 free throws. Maybe there is a mistake on Boggy there since he didn't called a timeout earlier.

Game 1 was an upset but knowing that Mitchell isn't playing and Gobert fouled out too, I believe that if these 2 will play then they will take Game 2. Congrats to the Grizzlies team still.

Kuzma played 19 minutes with no points?? Nothing new about there. He's been already playing like that since he joined the team.
Well, it looks like CP3 got the first blood against the defending champs . I hope that the injury that Paul got in Game 1 will not affect his performance in Game 2.

So, this is a point to be discussed, Kuzma is young and we can see that he is not doing anything to help the team. (I even think Kuzma is being an anchor in Lakers just as Jr Smith or TT was in the Cavs a few seasons ago  ) I may have been tough, but I think because of Kuzma's age he could help the team better.

CP3 is being a reference for Suns, he is experienced and even though he is 36 years old, he's an essential player for the team.
Putting Booker and Ayton together, the Suns become more competitive.
But I think that, if LeBron, AD, Drummond and co wake up, there is a good chance the Lakers will beat the Suns in playoffs

I believe the Lakers will win (4-2), even though basketball is a surprise box and anything can happen!

It's an intense series as both teams have the same standing if I'm not mistaken, it's alright, that would make the series more interesting to the fans.
The knicks should bounce back in game 2.

A must for the Nuggets as it's their home court, not sure if Miami could even the series, but even if they won't they still have a chance to make it a close series.

That's necessary, Hawks have read how to limit Randle and they have done it successfully, hopefully, he will adjust so he can produce his normal stats.

I don't understand why the fans were mad with Trae Young. I mean he's still a very young talented player, he doesn't deserve this hate. He still have a long way to be on the path of the villain like LeBron and Durant did. So, I guess the hate is pure nonsense, just because he's a threat for the Knicks that gives the dumb*ss fans the authority to talk sh*t and chanting like an uneducated dumb*sses.
Trae Young's playoffs debut is an unforgettable one lol.

The fans were wrong as they were thinking that it will distract Trae Young, instead, it only made Trae Young more motivated and hit the game-winner. Hopefully, they'll learn their lesson and show some respect to Trae Young in game 2, and instead cheer to wake their team from sleeping, especially Randle.

It was a close game as expected, at first half Hawks was better but Knicks took control in second half, until last seconds. A minute left and Knicks have that lead that they can keep to win this game but that 3 points shot coming from the side really changed the game tempo.

It's not easy to assume as this is  just the start of the series and they both showing what fans paying for, the entertainment and enjoyment that they'll looking from their favorite team.

I expected Knicks to put little more effort in defence. Trae was outstanding however. I see them going to game 7.

Memphs won 8 out of last 9 games. They are on the run with wining mentality. Wining mentality is very important for young team was is Memphis. We all saw what Utah showed us in regular season. But series will be way more even than people expect.

I didn't see it coming either.  As a Suns fan, DeAndre Anyton's play is definitely inspiring for the future.  I have my doubts as to whether or not he's able to keep that up.  Drummond was supposed to solve that problem, but he was outplayed bigtime last game.  I think Ayton is going to have himself one hell of a battle next game as the Lakers bigs are going to certainly be looking to punish him physically and keep him off the boards.  Especially if CP3 isn't able to come back quickly.  He may be old and injury prone, but it's obvious how important his impact is to the Suns chances of winning.  I hope he's able to get back on the court soon.  He's got to be sick of missing playoff games throughout his career...

I confess that it was also gratifying for me to see Trae Young "shutting down" Madison Square Garden.
He is proving that he is an excellent player and has a bright future ahead of him.
I bet he will come "on fire" in the next games !!
