About the Cavaliers, yes I think they are more ready now. The East will have a better competition in the next season to come.
About the Jazz, it's a white flag. All this moves that they have done is a surrender for this year. They wont' do much but just give experience to their newly organized roster.
Donovan Mitchell will surely love the Cavs intensity. We saw it last season, we will see it again. Reunited with Ricky Rubio.

Westbrook absorb so many bashing last season so he need to train more so that he can prove his basher that he's still the beast and can provide triple double which he was known for.

He can train hard but to average a triple-double again, that's not gonna happen with the LA Lakers because he is not anymore the main man, he can only achieve that again if he will be the main man in a team as he can dictate his teammates to do his stat padding activity.

Yes provably it is because for sure the ball will be on the hands of Lebron or AD but even though he cannot more touches still he can be explosive on rebounding and assist which he mostly do on his past teams, so for sure if he can do more of it for sure he can gain back the trust of Lakers fans. But I do believe westbrook can go with it as consistency still the key for a team and they need that compare to a injury prone player.

Not probably because Lebron and AD is the main man for the team and they are the ones who usually drive the ball while Westbrook's job is to support the duo. Averaging a triple-double is hard to attain if that's your situation but yes you are right, he can still be explosive in his role but as we saw, he is not that well enough to do those things.

They are certainly better now by having Mitchell on the team. Do you think this improvement will be sufficient to make a difference? In the end, only time will tell what will happen. As far as I am concerned, this should be a significant improvement. I also think that the team is going to be able to play more confidently from now on as well.

I am really indecisive when it comes to Utah. In the future, I do not know what is going to happen to them. Mitchell used to be a star player for the team, but he is no longer part of the team. It would be interesting to know how that position is going to be filled in the future.

I think I saw this trade and there were too many players involved just for Donovan Mitchell to go to the Cavaliers.

For the Jazz, there's still Clarkson and Beverley but I don't think that they'll still be the same as the last seasons. IIRC, the last seasons for them have been one of the best.

But this time, maybe it's a different story then.

Honestly even though Beverley is not a great player, that type of player was needed for Lakers for sure, in fact he would be even better fit than Westbrook to Lakers, not because he is a better player, we all know he is a worse player, but he is a better fit to play with Lebron and AD.

Now Lakers could easily send Westbrook away, and get something in return, I really don't care what or who, but they look like they don't want to send Westbrook, which is mind boggling. If they keep westbrook this year, that means the GM and all of staff in there have no idea how to run an organization, the idea of getting him was bad from start, to keep him is even worse.

That's what the rumors is also telling us, Clarkson, Rudy Gay, Mike Conley and Bogdan. It will be a complete turn around for Utah this season including a new coach.

And there are teams that already signify their interest on Clarkson already, including the Lakers, Dallas and Sixers. He is really a valuable player to which team he is going to be traded with. And probably if this happens, then Utah will definitely tank this season and probably not reach the playoffs.

For the cavs it made sense, they are a lot closer to a competing team than the Knicks aare.  They have the right pieces in place and Mitchell might put them over the edge to get them to a top 3 team in the East which is the goal.  They mortgaged their future but they can't afford to wait their team is ready now.  That's the difference with the Knicks team.

As far as the competition in the Eastern Conference is concerned, Cleveland Cavaliers might now improved their chance of getting in the playoffs next season especially since we know how Donovan Mitchell plays and his impact on his former team, the Utah Jazz. Although those being shipped from Cavaliers to Jazz in exchange for Mitchell plays a big role in their impressive last year's performance, it should be covered by the former Jazz cager.

Since they have new sets of players and part of their main lineup before now changed, we will obviously see a different starter now. Can't think of who will lead the team but as long as they will perfectly blend their chemistry, that will be a team effort and not a man team that carries the whole team. It's better to see Jazz be like that compared to relying only on 1-man as their main scorer.

I think Bojan Bogdanovic is overrated.  I keep hearing he might be getting traded to the Suns and people are excited about it, but I think it would be a bad move.  Dumping a distressed asset like Westbrook in exchange for taking him seems more appropriate to me.  I fear the Suns are going to get him though.  I hope they don't.

It would be nice if Clarkson will land to Phoenix, though I doubt if Utah will let him go. He's still young and with

this rebuilding process he can be the main man for this team. The Jazz can surround him with good role players and with those
future picks, he can work on them and utilize those new young bloods.

Though there's nothing is for sure. While you are in this league, we will hear any updates if Jazz will also trade those three known

Westbrooks contract is too expensive for any team to consider paying to get a washed up player or a bench player. I feel like he will sit alot of the season on the Lakers bench unless someone gets injured, which is very possible.
