^^ Many are looking for this kid and there are reports that scouts are present in the game and they are satisfied seeing Victor Wembanyama, and telling that he is a hybrid of KD and Rudy Gobert? And so they are very happy to watch him so it's going to be a dogfight if he even goes to the NBA.

As for Kai, he is also good but still very raw talent that needs to be developed.

This guy will likely be hired in the NBA soon, as for Kai, he has the height but he is not exceptional yet, I guess he needs more training and of course, needs more improvement to be very competitive. Kai is a versatile big man, however, he must live up to the competition as for now, he is not yet worthy to be in the NBA, maybe if he will gain more minutes in his current team and could tally great stats, that would give him a better chance.

I don't know why is there so much hype of Kai Sotto, definitely a good player, but he lack the "IT" factor to become a NBA players, just saying. He has a lot of supporters though amongst NBA fans so hopefully he can improved a lot and maybe in the next 2 years, will be drafted by the NBA.

For Victor, sky is the limit and as long as he can stay healthy, he could be definitely top 3 draft in he ever decided to enter the biggest basketball league (I understand he is European).

Wembanyama is so good, I can't imagine him being anything other than a first pick, any team who has the first pick and doesn't get him must be insane. Doesn't matter if you are rebuilding and get 5 first round pick offers, doesn't matter if someone is giving you Durant, doesn't matter if you are given 10 picks, it really doesn't matter.

Just get him, and then you can slowly and gradually build around him, get some more decent free agents at first, trade later on, and then in 5 years you would have a decent team, not amazing, but a decent, because Wembanyama alone could get you close to playoff levels easily if he stays healthy, with a bit more help you would be a contenting team when he is 25 years old. I watched him a lot, he is just too unreal, he is unique as it gets and all depends on him staying healthy.

Yeah, and it really doesn't look good for Green, specially if he is really the aggressor and it seems he force the hands of some of his teammates and choose side. Do Green really think that he is Jordan and can do anything with everyone not name Curry? And this will definitely test the Warriors moving forward as well, again it reminds us of the Durant and Green incident.

I think Green is an important piece on the team, but his emotions do cause problems sometimes.  This is the same sort of outburst that made Kevin Durant leave (minus the violence).  I put a link to the video below if anyone wants to see it for themselves.  Interestingly enough, the police have said they aren't investigating the assault and have no intention of pressing any charges.  Draymond better buy Poole something nice this weekend.  Poole could definitely have him locked up for this, although I'm sure that would bring an end to his NBA career and he'd be losing hundreds of millions of dollars so that seems rather unlikely.

Definitely some trouble brewing in the Warriors training camp.  Draymond Green and Jordan Poole had a fight yesterday because Jordan Poole scored on Draymond in a scrimmage and then called him a "triple single."  Meaning he doesn't get double digits in any stats during a game.  An interview with Klay Thompson after winning a 3 point contest (against Steph and Poole) had him saying the best part of the win was to "humble Jordan Poole."  When Jordan Poole then interrupted the interview with his own microphone, Klay said that Poole was coming for the reporters' jobs too.  I think it's pretty clear the Warriors are getting frustrated with the young guys wanting a piece of the pie.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors signed Poole to an extension just to make him a more valuable trading piece.

He better be careful, Warriors know what makes them the money.  The original 3 are the golden goose for that team both in games in in theor profit margin.  Even if the kid is getting good its almost addition by subtraction sometimes.  Ypu want to make sure those 3 are going into the season with a clear head.

It's just weird though that Jordan Poole will be acting like this in scrimmage and disrespect the veteran Green. We have seen this in the past, when Durant and Green had some arguments in the game and then Green talking to the media.

So yeah, we should keep an eye on Poole, perhaps his performance last year made him feeling 'great' now as part of the big 5 in the Warriors. But we all know that it's Curry, Thompson and Green that is still the core and not same young guy.

Not wierd at all you have to rber in the NBA all of these guys no matter who they are now were "the man" at one point in time whether its high school, college, nba, etc.  Some guys know how to handle it others get an ego over it.  In this case it looks like the latter, and now that he has some nba success looks like it's coming out.  In the NBA that attitude is poisonous and kills a team from the inside out.  Good or not if it continues you will see him on the trade block.

There's no need for the GSW management to think because he is really a valuable asset, a leader for them. But you don't need to go that far to punched your own team mate by just saying shit on him. Remember that they trash talk their opponents, so why can't you take that coming from your own team mates. Of course they could move forward, but for sure, some of the guys, specially rookies or new to the team might not feel good being part of the organization as their supposed to be leader will punch them in the future.

Might be thinking that it could affect his negotiation power for the Management. Woah, this is something new and I thought that there won't be any issue like this as it seems they have good chemistry in the team. Well, this isn't a good sign for the Warriors if one of them is acting like he's full of himself.

The warriors team players have a little misunderstanding but all will be sorted out. After watching the video, it seems that two are really at fault there. But without hearing whatever is Poole saying while Draymond is away from him, there could be words that have triggered him and that's why Dray went near him. The wrong thing Poole did was pushed Dray away and then he let his guard off. He should expect that aggression when he has pushed him away. The Warriors management probably are on the meetings on how they'll sanction probably both of them or if only one, it will be Draymond.

Darvin Ham's situation is quite similar to the temporary coach of the Boston Celtics, but the latter is much more difficult because he need to duplicate Ime Udoka's performance or better than that while Darvin Ham's situation is how to get these team full of point guard to work as one while thinking not to overload AD's shoulder so that he could play much longer. There's a chance but coach Ham need to find that key.

I view it the other way around. I see Ham has the more difficult job against Joe Mazzulla. The Celtics is already established and there is not much of changes. He was with them for 3 years thus the players and asst coaches know him. He is already familiar with the plays of Udoka as well. Unless he wants to change and move away from the plays of Udoka, he will have a very comfortable job.

On the other hand, the Laker's seems still to find what direction they are going to. They are amassing PG's as you said but no reliable role players coming from the bench. They will be solely relying on their stars AD and Lebron, and WB (if he can put his game together). Darvin Ham has his work cut out for him.

You certainly got a point that Darvin Ham's situation is much more difficult than Mazzulla's, but I've read somewhere that the latter is not that always active in his past role that's why the Celtics is not that sure that they are in good hands, don't know if it's true but in case it's true, the franchise and its players are in a dilemma.

I guess we will see that after a few games in the regular season. And if it is true, that would put the Celtics in a harder spot this year. And not good timing either, just when their young stars are at their peak, this happens to the organization. The Celtics should find a new coach immediately if they do not feel confident about their interim coach. What I want to know is what causes this aggression from Green. The rumor before was because of who will get the money on their next contract since we know that poole will be free agent by Oct 17 if the warriors do not offer an extension. Green is also at the end of his contract. But Warriors GM and Steph denied this rumor. So if that is not the reason, so what is?

Green should be punished by his actions. It is clear that was a hard punch and he wanted to hurt Poole. That should not be tolerated, even if it happened in the team's practice. I do not like the idea that he can hurt people and get away with it.

There have already been rumors that the Warriors' management has discussed suspending Green, but he will probably just be fined. Honestly, I guess the Warriors' management will force Green and Poole to publicly befriend each other, so everyone will think the conflict is over. If my guess is correct, we'll soon discuss another video of Green and Poole smiling and shaking each other's hands. However, I highly doubt that the relationship between these two teammates will actually be the same as before.

Looks like Miami Heat got a good steal on the rookie draft (Round 1; Pick 27).

For me, he is a promising player and if things go smoothly as he progress, will be one of the faces of the Miami Heat in 2-3 seasons.

Draymond and Wiseman to Atlanta Hawks for Capela and John Collins but I think those are just mock trades. They can work this out somehow.

No disrespect but to get to the NBA from other countries, you should be insanely strong and have some unique styles of playing, and more importantly, you can easily score 20+ points per game like this guy here. Just look at his insane performance and compare him to Kai who has really a long way to go to be like that. Kai is still young and has some room for improvement he can probably make some positive changes in the upcoming years and is finally signed by one of the teams in the NBA that needed a competitive center.

Nice find there. I was not following the G-League now but this is where the NBA gets most of the players that have potential. Gary Payton II was from there and now he received a good contract with the Trail Blazers after the insane defensive performance helping the Warriors to achieve the crown.
That good as a center will be an easy choice for the scouts.

That's what I heard with Chet as well. I mean some positive things have been said to him but now he is injured and can't play on is first season.

I'm not saying that Victor = Chet but they are almost the same. A 7-foot player who can shoot threes, can play point guard and center. Chet has a problem with his body frame, and I think it will be the same with Victor. He is a talented big and like you said, I don't see him being the 2nd pick or lower. Even Richard Jefferson said that if Lebron and Victor were on the same draft class, Lebron might be in the 2nd. That's how talented he is. It's just his body frame is I think the problem unless he will not play the center position then I guess there is no problem with it.

I'm thinking what position he is comfortable to play with. He can be a center with his height, but he can be a point guard because of his ball handling skills and at the same time, he can be a shooting guard with his insane shooting skills.

Don't worry I surely know what the NBA really wanted and Victor Wembanyama is surely a great draft or a great inclusion to the NBA while he is still 18 years, but I just want to support a fellow Filipino on what he truly loves and the main goal here is getting in the NBA and for the 1st pure blooded Filipino to be playing on the NBA, Surely I think aswell that he needs to improve his playing and base on his performance he surely has some space to improve, but we Filipino's are always here encouraging him to never give up,

A good chance because that's is why there are pre-season games, it's a dry run for their plans and that's the perfect opportunity to try whether if it will work or not, both teams will benefit from it and there's no win or lose at this point until the season starts formally. So far we've seen some teams that are doing good and some are not taking the risks of letting their superstars play and just give the experience to the bench players to work their skills.

We can not access any good play in the Preseason games and yes it is for the bench players to show what they can do, and to experience the court, well that injuries can not be anticipated on when they will happen but preseason is good conditioning for a player on their long break as well, not just for the bench players, that is why we can see some all-star players are using this opportunity to warm-up and just scoring a couple of shots, in the preseason and doing things that unlikely they will do in the actual start of the season,

Kai still needs just a little more improvements. Footwork, toughness and shooting percentage. Big men who does not have any guard skills today does not usually work in the NBA today. If you noticed how dominant Dwight Howard was in late 2000's, but now he's became irrelevant and he even considered retiring as no teams would allow him to play his usual minutes. It was reported that he does not want to play in a smaller position. And, not it's not like it is because of his injury too. He literally bounced back though it's not 100%.
Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama is also one the main reasons why Kai did not make it in the recent draft. I'm confident he'll make it next year, I hope he's not gonna quit on his dreams.

That's not the case for the Lakers because they cannot win without one of their star players.

Lebron or Davis' injury will drastically affect their chance of winning, just like the Clippers when Leonard and Paul George was injured, although they were still competitive but they are not the same without their star players.

About the Lakers, it's not like its a one man team now or two man team which only rely on Lebron and AD.
They have PatBev and Westbrook which I think will be a big impact for the team if their coach would let it.

Ham is different than Vogel. It's not like he have focus for defense only. I have seen Westbrook play this preseason and there is a difference than what he was last year. We cannot tell it just yet.

Just like what you've said, we cannot tell it just yet and that same goes for Pat Bev and Westbrook because this is their first time playing side by side while Westbrook should bounce back from his performance last season, he may have good stats but that is not the Westbrook we know. So that all goes back for AD and Lebron because I don't really think they go far this season if both named superstars are injured.
