We have seen superteams that didn't succeed and disappointed their team management. There's certainly a big problem with these superteams nowadays.

That's why building from scratch is a good thing that some teams are doing like the Kings, Nuggets, Bucks although they've added some help through Lillard eventually.

I also agree that having no big man with the Suns is a big mistake.

I believe you are pertaining to the “super team” that composed of old star player that already near passed of their prime. Clippers, Lakers and Suns are the best example for this since they are just acquiring Star player that is just good during their prime but right now only playing on average.

The reason why building from scratch is always a good choice is because the team is being developed along with the individual skills. A tram that playing as one without stealing spotlight to each other can always beat a super team is that is just built recently while most of their star players is greedy with the ball.

It seems that the game was going there but it didn't, a lot of turnovers and missed free throws for the Suns.

Anyway, congratulations to TWolves for sweeping the Suns that are going to pay hundreds of millions close to half to their three superstars for this result.

That's the risk of forming a Superteam, because when a team choose to build a Superteam, it's expected that they'll be in the championship but a first round exit, is a big disappointment. Giving up Ayton was a big mistake, he was a very dominant big man so they really miss a production on that area.

Also, the team has no real point guard, so the ball movement is really a problem. It's fine that CP3 was traded but the big man, I think it should have not happen. Also, Beal seemed not the same anymore, his injury have change his confidence, he is just like Klay Thompson now.

Maybe its important to consider by teams is they should not get a lot of stars on team but rather they should focus to get good role players since this could be a game changer to them since those guys can work with them so well and can able to share some good baskets with their stars.

And I think the team would be more balance if there's one or two stars in the team compare if they acquire a lot of stars since pride would overcome their system and that can ruin their chemistry.

I really hope the Suns don’t lose today and get swept. After getting Durant and Beal, to go out with a sweep in the first round is beyond embarrassing. It shows that Ayton was a more important piece to this team’s championship run than they wanted to admit. On one hand I want to see my hometown team win, but on the other hand they don’t deserve it…

Sadly Suns don’t have D and just focus on offense while Timberwolves are good both offense and defense because of Gobert and KAT combo. Wolves acquiring Gobert is their best decision to get a championship. Many people criticize it since they sacrifice a lot just to acquire Gobert yet this trade is very fruitful for them since they are the best contender to win the WCF.

Wolves is a bad matchup for Suns. I believe Suns can advance if they face different team aside from Wolves and Nuggets. KD is not that on fire anymore that can carry the team.

Only one 4-0 and was in an unexpected match, i dont know why Phoneix Suns do so bad against Timberwolves. But well congratulations for Minesota.

The other surprise for me is the Pacers 3-1 up against the super Milwaukee.

Clippers - Mavericks match is very competitive. If the Clippers win this game, the series will be 2-2, but if the Mavs manage to win at home, they will bring the series to 3-1 and pretty much finish the job. This could be the breaking match of the series. That's why it's very normal for both teams to put their hearts into the field. The Clippers, who score with George and Harden while Kawhi is out, also receive contributions from Westbrook. In the Mavericks, Kyrie and Doncic score a lot, but the rest of the team shoots very poorly.

Clippers have indeed poured their hearts out, they managed to get the win without Kawhi and I respect that a lot. Harden showed us he was like the days of old Harden. I like this series too and 2-2 has only made it more enjoyable. But I think there are problems with Mavs. They cannot carry out 2 superstar style much longer. They definitely need more contribution from other players and especially bench, if they want to do something in the playoffs. Although this series is good to watch, on the next series these both teams probably cannot do much.

The day after the Phoenix Suns get swept and they’re ready to end the experiment. Durant is blaming the coach for using him wrong. Beal was a total mistake, and now Booker wants to get traded to the Knicks. I think the Suns are going to be crippled for years as a result of this failed experiment.

Pacers got very very lucky, they are facing Bucks, a team that got Damian Lillard last off season to make sure they do better at playoffs. And not only did Bucks lost Lillard to injury, but they also lost Giannis as well which made it near impossible for them to win. Obviously because of that Indiana got 3-1 ahead and I think Giannis is not returning neither which means that Indiana will end up beating them eventually as well we should probably consider that as a possibility.

I believe that we need to just focus on how Bucks could recover from this and be better next season because their season already ended. Some teams like Bucks and Sixers just do as well as they could but then they get their stars injured and then all of their season was for absolutely nothing in the end.

Suns deserve that with Beal, losing a tons of money and they don't have first pick and second pick for every round. They're going to wait for that so long. They don't want to establish from their own picks but instead, they think that they'll able to make the best team by having those expensive stars that shall contribute. Anyway, they've been brought to the playoffs but that's all and all. I am more worried about Bol Bol as his contract is about to expire with them or it actually did already after the swept happened.

During the first round, we could always expect a sweep from any of the below seeded team. it's not like I've never seen it for a lot of years, as far as I could remember we've seen one from last year where the 76ers swept the Nets in the first round, so I'm not sure why you haven't seen a 4-0 a lot more often in the first round since in that kind of stage it is where sweep are happening more often lol.
The Wolves are just a way more better team than the Suns. Everyone knows that the Suns plays no defense, though they have enough offensive fire power but playing against a team who plays better from both ends of the floor is just a perfect recipe for disaster. This has always been the problem with the Suns since they have regularly entered the playoffs. Too bad for Booker, still he struggling to reach the finals even with Durant and Beal on his team.
Everyone has Durant under their radar on what's his next move after getting badly swept by the ever improving Minnesota Timberwolves. What's even more exciting is we may see a rematch between the Denver Nuggets and the Wolves in the 2nd round. I think they are now going to be a pretty good match up to watch.

It's true building from scratch is the best, we've seen this with Nuggets, Heat, Kings and Bucks. But getting with some help of an old veteran is a good strategy too but don't get it that much when they're like no one's going to listen to one another because they treat themselves as superstars.

Calf strain is also a nasty injury so I think he will continue to struggle even if he forces himself to play. I've read that as well but there's no confirmation yet but it seems that a lot of articles saying that he won't be able to play for game 5.

I don't know if the Nuggets will survive but I guess that they can but it is an advantage for the Lakers if ever Jamal is out to play. Because with most of the headlines, they're all saying that it's questionable that he can play but not yet confirmed.

Milwaukee is on the brink of saying goodbye to their dream championship with Dame because the Indiana Pacers are on fire and they happen not to have any responses to their offense since they always lose with a few points behind. I think this is it for them unless they win the next game which we all know is not that possible anymore unless they come up with some good strategy that works against the Pacers since they are back at their homecourt once again to stay alive in this series.

They started hot again just like in game 2, but this time, they make it sure that they are going to held on that lead. Good to see the D'Lo was able to get over that last game performance with 0 points, as he comes back with a big game and make it sure that they are not going to be sweep by the Nuggets.

D Lo was a difference maker here because if he struggled, then the swept might happen.  He had 21 points and had a decent shooting, that was a relief because it would be too bad if the Lakers will be swept again. Now they just have to win game 5 and then 6 to have a very exciting game 7, I hope the Lakers fans now will continue to believe as the Lakers are trying to make a history.

Lebron's legacy will be great if he can manage to bring the team to another win and at least force a game 6.

OKC too strong for the Pelicans, complete team, SGA again lead OKC but Josh Giddey put on a show with 21 points.

That's fact, and swept is inevitable with the way the OKC are playing. I thought they would struggle in the first round but they showed their dominance. Looking forward to a great 2nd round series, if it's vs Dallas would be better.

So D'Lo make a statement in game 4 to at least bring the Lakers to another do or die game in Denver. Not bad from 0 to 20++ points and a great no look pass to Lebron for a highlight dunk.

I said game 6 because numbers are against them at 0-3. So the best score we can see here in 4-2 in favor of the Lakers if they steal one in the road.

Yep, OKC now leads 3-0, again, another team in a desperate must win.

How about MJ Jr beating his idol KD and sweeping them? Phoenix needs a legitimate point guard next season. There big 3 is not clicking as well, and I will say worst that KD + Harden + Kyrie when they are with Brooklyn Nets.

2 game winners + a poster on Lebron James. That's what Jamal Murray did on this series. I also thought that he will not play, but it's the playoffs and as long as you can play, you will play because it's the title that is on the line on that game 5. The Nuggets won behind Murray's game-winning shot "AGAIN". 2 game-winning shots in one series is pretty rare, yet Murray did it.

TBH, he's one of the most underrated players and they disrespect him so much. Heck, he didn't even experienced being on an all-star game. Nobody's talking to much about him because when you say Nuggets, the first thing that comes to their mind is Jokic, and they forget about him. Well for me, they're the best duos right now in the league. Anyway, the Nuggets ended the series in 5 games, and they will be facing the Timberwolves in the 2nd round.

The Lakers just didn't learn.
That's one heck of a perimeter running shot from Jamal Murray for a game-winner. That's not easy, I could tell. No balance, feet not set, and being in front of a defender. He really mastered basketball to be able to do that.

I won't use AD being hurt in the 2nd half which is why they lost. The Nuggets are just a better team. I mean look at Murray who keeps on attacking the paint and no one is even trying to challenge it. Lebron did but he was posterized and he ain't actually the D of Murray, he just stepped in to challenge it.

Well, this is what I expected but I am glad the Lakers made it more intense. My heart almost stopped watching the last 5 minutes of the game. No blinks.  

Timberwolves against the Nuggets. That will be fun!

You bet it really is! well, congratulations to them for winning this series to be honest, the Lakers don't really have any chance with the kinds of players they have, they can't seem to find the rhythms to get together and finish the game with wins and their chance is finally over right now. This is so far the coldest poster I've ever seen on the playoffs series this year. Their next match-up are more exciting than this one because that's when the real battle begins.

Say what you will about the Lakers, they gave it a good run and it was a great game to watch that came down to the wire. I wish they would have had a timeout left at the end so they could have run a proper play to try and get the win, but rules are what they are with the replay challenges. I wouldn’t be surprised if tonight’s outcome doesn’t spur a rule change.

Yes, this is going to be an interesting series, we have Gobert vs Jokic for sure in the middle. Gordon another defense job for him to control ANT just like what he did to Lebron in this series, make him work for every points.
