It's because they think that Russell will be a big player for them, but just like the rest of those who played with Lebron, maybe except Kyrie Irving, all of them turn into just another team mate and even if they are given a big role, I don't know they just succumb to the pressure I guess. Another great example is KCP or even Kyle Kuzma or THT, as far as I can remember there's a lot of hype surrounding this players, but when they played with Lebron, nah, all of them wilted under pressure that's why they are no longer with LA and then thrive outside.

Yup, all those names aside from Kyrie they all become nothing while playing with LeBron, so many promising opportunities, but it's management decision to keep LeBron and trade those known names after him, I guess only time will tell if what what Lakers management will do with those players that they still got playing with LeBron.

KCP becoming a champion with the Nuggets, helping them. While Kuzma had a so-so career with the Wizards, but there are games that he become the number one scorer. THT is with that Jazz, same, he gotten bigger physically, but he can still play. So we will see if Russell can break away from that shadow of playing with Lebron James and carving his own career now.

He can do it as he's welcome playing with that same squad where he really earn respect while playing for the Nets, though we don't know if what adjustment is needed to fit him but a as good player, it's mostly on you if how you adjust with the syste,.

Getting him has risks because his performance declined ever since he got traded to the Lakers. Now he's redeeming himself at least with his past performances.
With him being on the team, will the Nuggets be now a title contender team? Not even close, and that's because of their depth.

It's good that they got Westbrook since he's beneficial as it takes some of Jokic's responsibilities especially with the passing part, but they ruined their bench when they traded some of their key players after they won a title. The addition of Westbrook is helping the team, but if they want to be a title contender team, they need to deepen their bench and how to do that? They must trade MPJ. Trade MPJ and get reliable role players plus draft picks for the future of the team.

As for the gamble part, I guess the Nuggets are now happy with how Westbrook is playing right now, so they won with that gamble. What he needs to do is to just maintain how he's playing right now. I'm happy with how the team is playing, but it isn't enough for them to be a title contender... at least this year.

So he could really be a perfect fit for the play that Malone has plan or it shows how brilliant coach Malone is as he was able to give Westbrook a role that he is very much comfortable for now.

And probably Jokic as well is very proud of what he is seeing on Westbrook right now and the rest of the teams are benefiting from this two great passers and they can learn a thing or two. Yes, we don't want to jinx somewhat, the performance of Russell Westbrook in this season. It could be the version of Westbrook when he did go to Washington and playing along Bradley Beal. Those two have some kind of rapport as they lead the Wizards that time to a playoff spot. But it's different in the Nuggets now as Jokic is the main man, but somehow Westbrook still finds to contribute and still very much active in every way he can. Let's see how far this marriage can go, playoff will be a big test if they are going to a meltdown or will continue to play great basketball.

Although we can't deny that D Lo is also a great contributor for his team but I guess the time already came that they explore things with their roster and they want to get someone who can provide defense and offense for them.

Yes, I think him and the new coach could have issues that's why Reddick no longer uses him as starters. He might have disguise is to be just an experiment in his part, but I think it could be a sign that he no longer trust D Lo. No doubt that he can be a offensive player, but he is very inconsistent as there are games that he seems to be reluctant to play with no energy whatsoever. And then there are games that in the first quarter alone, he will have a good shooting spree and the team win. Not sure how his career will boom on the Nets though, there are a lot of so so players there and so everyone is vying to be their franchise player so it will be tough for D Lo unless he will have like 30-40 minutes a game playing time.

But in Zion case, nah, just a couple of games and then he will be injured and out of the season again and again. I wouldn't call it a Oden type of injury, Oden was brittle, Zion it's more of his discipline I guess to be in shape.

Anyhow, great game by the Rockets being Luka less Mavericks. Alperen Şengün again looks very smooth in this game, no muscles but he can still go inside and score. While Jalen Green has his game again driving and dunking the ball. Still good in the 3rd spot for the Rockets.

It seems to me that he is very confident with the role that coach Malone is giving to him that's why he is performing better and better every game. But let's say that he had played, he could be a 25 points 10 rebounds and 5 assists player. So probably above and we could say that he is one of the superstar and could live up to the hype when he entered the league 5 years ago. But since he has problems with his weight and it seems that he can't control it, those numbers are just a pigment of imagination, lots of what if, specially if you're a Pelican fans and really cling on the thoughts that he will be a great player and who knows what he can bring to the city.

Right now? those injuries are not going to help him out and I do not think that he can make a turn around as it has been 5 years already and he hasn't shown sign that he can play full 82 games in a season. Just poor work ethic, weight issues, are not a great sign that he will make a huge comeback.

I can only imagine the hype of Zion years ago, as if he has the second coming of Lebron James, very athletic, can pass and dribble the ball for a thunderous dunk.

I guess that happen because of his weight. If he just listen to his coach and nutritionist to lose weight then be consistent with it, he would provably lessen up those injuries he get. Right now he's career is starting to get doomed and those injuries is stopping him to reach his potential.

To bad for him for experiencing that, also for believing that he provably be the next LBJ since right now at his current condition it seems that its hard to happen. Maybe he will decline without reaching those potential what people expect him to deliver.

Just remember how AD was when hes still with the NP though he's more healtier and capable to help them playing up to playoffs unlike with Zion he's been a liability eversince, can't complete or help any season, but who knows when he get traded, whoever wanted him still might have plans for his health and for his career, it's a matter how both sides will help each other.

Adjustments for both Zion and the management if ever the trade materialize, else, there's nothing left for him and he's just waiting for his contract to expire then retire his jersey after.

It seems like they’ve become so unpredictable now, especially with Westbrook playing so well. The Murray-Jokic combo, which used to be the main focus, isn’t the same anymore since Westbrook joined the picture. Plus, other guys are stepping up, especially MPJ, as you mentioned. He’s more aggressive now, not just relying on his outside shooting, even though his percentage in that area is high. Being tall and athletic, he should definitely attack more, and it’s paying off.

The injury happened in the fourth quarter when Ivey collided Magic guard Cole Anthony while chasing loose ball. Cole Anthony fall onto Ivey's leg caused an awkward bend, leading to the fracture.

Detroit Piston is doing very well this season compared last season. And now this happens. Ivey is Averaging 17 points per game.

Denver Nuggets really are a team! Everyone plays and scores and this duo Jokic/Westbrook is looking really good. For the first time i seen a team that had 2 triple doubles in the same match and now its like Jokic gets a triple double and Westbrook get a double double. Also in this match to see seven players score 10+ points is insane and Denver is slowly picking up tempo and getting those wins
