I can see a better Butler and Curry together. Jimmy is an all around player too, you can see him offensively and defensively playing.
Curry is a shooter and now he can pass down to Butler also. They trust each other and they can play well too.
they can also make a way alone so its not an easy defense for you if you will guard them.

He's perfect fit on GSW system and we can see them works good as a team that's why we see them winning.

Lets see if they can sustain that since there are few games left and if they can continue to have a good winning streak since placing at 6 spot on west still possible for them. Each games became more intense since lots of teams to increase their chance to get a spot on playoffs and lots of competitive team are now trying to hit also that goal. GSW became more better team especially when they got Butler on their team.

I mean surely Butler is a good fit with Curry, and the whole Warrios, NOW but are we sure he will be that great for long term? We all remember how Miami did great with Butler, two times finals too, sure failed to win but they did do great, once even from 8th seed if I remember right.

So I am sure that Butler starts great wherever he goes, but then slowly things start to fall apart, because he wants to shine ,and I am sure that Warriors will not let him shine when Curry is there. In the end, I have no hopes for Warriors to be at the finals, there is no way that would happen, west is too stacked right now, Warriors can't beat all of the west to be at the finals. Celtics could be, east is theirs, still could make a mistake and lose too, but Celtics are probable, however Warriors do not look that great to me.

Not sure if that might happened as for the GSW they already have that same situation way back when KD was traded to them, it's not a big deal for Curry all he wants is to win a title and for sure same deal with Butler if he'll see that Jimmy will be a good factor to continue winning then he'll give him that freedom to play his game.

It's more on how the team will play their game together and what will be the outcome for the benifits of the entire franchise..

And so far Jimmy had really blend it with the Warriors offense, there were even one play that has been analyze by some fans that now they have the luxury of not just Green and Steph during the but Jimmy is also now involved.

That's why they are someone on a high spirit right now and winning games and now on a 3 game streak. But they are still way behind the standing. But the thing is that if they can build this momentum then maybe Jimmy could be the one that they are looking for.

Lakers are certainly doing great, sure they had one terrible loss, but they are 80% win rate in the last 10 games, and on a 2 win streak, one of them being Denver, so they are looking great at the moment and I have high hopes about the game without a doubt, I have to say that it is not going to be that easy at all, we should be looking at this without a doubt from a long term perspective and Lakers could make this change without a doubt.

I know that it is going to be hard for them, it is not that easy, but we could see this work without a doubt, we just need to give it some time. I know that time will get them better, and with fourth seed, they have a good easy path to title as well, they may end up winning it finally.

I’m excited to watch them play tomorrow night. I’m hoping to see something special now that LeBron and Luka seem to be playing well together. Luka is also probably wanting a revenge game and Dallas without Anthony Davis probably can’t do much to stop him. It is going to be a great night of basketball.

I hope the "fire Nico" chants will be even louder for his "homecoming"! Guess it will be very emotional for him, ket's see how this impacts his game vs the Mavs. The "divorce" is still so fresh, so the emotions might still be a lot to handle!
Not a Lakers fan but for the way Dallas treated this man I am hoping the Lakers will give the a 30 piece or more. Now that Luka is gone and also the last Germany guy (Kleber) I have no reason to cheer for them anymore.

Actually, if Luka and LeBron can find the right mutual understanding on the court, the Lakers could potentially be called title contenders this season. In my opinion, their starting lineup looks pretty good, especially since Rui and Reaves have improved lately.

We have seen that Lebron and Luka can play together, I mean Lebron has history of teaming with great players as well, so I don't think he needs adjustment. Luka though is slowly getting in the groove and so this is somewhat scary as Austin Reaves and also playing very good when they acquire Luka. They are in the good position to make the playoff. But obviously a game against the Mavericks will always bring the competitiveness of players. As we have seen this over and over again on players who were traded by their team suddenly wanted to have a revenge game. And with the big men of Mavericks out, it's going to be very hard for them to win against the Lakers, just saying. And the odds reflected that, as Lakers are 1.3x favorite to win ML.

That's a fair point, but they don't play each other again in Dallas until near the end of the season.  I'm not saying that game won't be a bigger game from a revenge or even excitement standpoint, but by then the trade won't be as fresh and I think a lot of casuals will stop caring.  So from a watching at home on the couch perspective, I'm still excited about tonight's game.  However, you are right.  If I could attend the game in Dallas, it would certainly be an energetic atmosphere.

TBH, I don't think that the word "revenge" is applicable on this game. They'll just play, and that's all.

There's no some sort of revenge with this game. If that's the case then AD must think the same as well, isn't it because he also got traded? As for Luka playing in Dallas (which will happen on the 10th of April), for sure, the crowd will be happy to see him again, and I will not be surprised if there will be fans that will chant "Fire NICO!!!" while the game is on-going. AD will not play in this game though he's seen having some warm-ups. Luka's been playing really well in their last games, and I expect the same this time. I'll give some of my time watching this game though.

Well, this game ended with a win for the Lakers, and I wouldn't say it was easy for them. Almost all quarters were close, and the Lakers were able to take a slight lead only in the fourth quarter, mainly thanks to LeBron, who scored more than half of his points in the fourth quarter. It's also worth noting Luka's performance, as he made a triple-double, but his field goal percentage was low again.

I saw exactly what I thought I’d see when watching that game. LeBron gave a monster effort (and walked off the court before the game was over to go to the locker room) and Luka put up some big numbers while the Lakers won. Kyrie played a hell of a game too, but it just wasn’t enough.

Thompson was the main reason Dallas made a comeback in the 4th, thanks to his three straight three-pointers. But that’s just how it is, not every three they take will fall (law of averages).

From what I see, they really missed their big men. Imagine playing without Davis, Gafford, and Lively- that’s a huge loss. On top of that, Washington, who just recently returned to the line up, ended up scoreless in this game, which didn’t help their case.

Curry is already an elite level player, he had Hall of Fame career already, and with that famous 2022 title which was shocking to most people, we could say that he is already at a category that was insane. However, if some miracle happens (which I really doubt) and he wins the fifth title, this season or the next or any time before he retires really, then he will be at a very seldom place with only a handful of people.

I mean you could look at Robert Horry and say rings do not matter alone, but Curry was fmvp for one of those, and should have been for another 2 if you ask me. This is why we are going to see Curry wanting it, but not sure if Warriors will have what it takes to get another one, that will be sort of difficult.

In terms of competitions that's something they need to figure out as a team and like what you mentioned that 2022 run where they manage to win another title without KD that's something, and I believe with the type of his game he's still capable in winning another, though the road is really tough as teams from both sides are very competitive.

Luka hit the expectation of people and I really enjoy watching them perform together with Lebron. Don't know what the management could feel on that defeat especially that they see Luka put up some monstrous figures to help Lakers to win.

Kyrie put all his best to win but LBJ is there to heat up the Lakers and take the advantage to win this game.  Still nice game for both Dallas and Lakers since they put up good fight todays match up and Mavs give a good fight for Lakers but came out short for them. but just wondering since I'm thinking if AD is there maybe result is different right?

Luka's playmaking is a game-changer, but I think Dallas's struggle in the paint was a major factor in the loss. If AD was healthy, it would've been a totally different story. Great to see Kyrie giving it his all, though!

Yes, it will be a different game if AD can play against his former team in the Lakers homecourt. But it was Luka who obviously trolls Nico with his push ups and then recorded his first triple double as a Lakers.

And the fans as well chanting "Thank you Nico", so just imagine if the game will be in the Dallas homecourt and there are fans that are still very much with Luka and still can't move on with Nico trading him away to the Lakers.

From what I see, they have two dominant player that has a big basketball IQ in Draymond and Butler now, that's why it's totally different. They have a lot of experience in the game, and so they can read everything and make the right plays. Like that of Butler getting the ball but didn't force himself but wait for Post and then that monster dunk against two defender. And it's good to see Post now in the rotation, and they still have Looney and Trayce Jackson-Davis to man the middle. So everyone is contributing so it's really scary who will be their opponents if let's say they make it to the playoffs (although it's too early).

It was really good to see Doncic making a triple-double against his old team too. Did you see the way he looked at Dallas bench after making a three? 



Doncic is really getting used to playing for Lakers. It is nice that he can leave his past behind this quickly. I want to see him giving his best for his new team from now on.

By the way I really wonder what happened behind the scenes that led Dallas to even ban the fans who wore a Doncic jersey...
