NBA has shared the current All-Star voting on their X account. The lists of top 20 players for both conferences are as below.



I'm disappointed with the support Alperen Şengün has got so far. I thought he would be in top 10 but the gap with Reaves is quite big.

East side looks nice but West could be better than this. Voting still continues until January 14 by the way so we will see.

Houston fans generally blame Alperen for the recent failures. Usually, players who take responsibility and try to change the game become targets when the team loses. This is a general trend in the NBA. Personally, I don't even think there is a real failure here but these low scores show that Houston fans are not voting for Alperen.

Nuggets got 2 losses in a row. They were horrible at defending though. 147 points scored by Heat. When Jokic and Murray play a chill game of course it reflects on the score directly. The gap was like 24 points at the end...

Rockets won against Pacers without Sengun maybe but that last quarter performance was absolutely terrible! Pacers gained 20 points on them but still it wasn't enough for a comeback. They also struggle more than usual while Haliburton is out you know.

Thunder beat Hawks but I really liked how the Hawks played too. Alexander Walker was especially great. He hit a deep three pointer it was a very tough shot but the way he showed he knew it was going in with his hand gestures was so cool. The game felt like a battle between two cousins. SGA with 39 points vs. Alexander Walker with 30.

Of course I knew it. He got a knee injury after playing for like 19 minutes and had to leave. I just wanted to say they weren't able to effect the game in the way they wanted as usual.

I was watching the Nuggets game last night. I really hoped it wasn't an ACL injury but I was so scared. Shams announced that he will be out for at least 4 weeks. I would be very sad if it was an ACL injury because he is playing amazing this season. At the moment he has averages of 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. His field goal percentage is 60%. With this performance he is definitely one of the best offensive players of all time. I hope he returns to the court as soon as possible

This means he will miss like at least 18 games from regular season. Murray will have a serious responsibility while he is injured. Let's see how many of them will end up as wins for Nuggets.

I feel so sorry for Jokic; it's terrifying when an NBA star gets injured like that. Thankfully, it turned out not to be a very serious injury, but we still won't be able to watch him for a month. Count me in on the support for Alperen Sengun in All-Star voting. I always vote for that dude.

Damn! I lost my bet because of that Jokic injury. I saw the slow motion of that defensive play, and it doesn't really look that bad, but because Jokic is a big man with a lot of weight, his foot was stretched after he was stepped on by his teammate.
Left knee hyperextension. Yeah, that's the injury report for him, and I was not wrong with what I saw. Thankfully, it's not a major injury, but it can still affect the performance of the Nuggets team, considering Gordon and Braun are still out, although it is also reported they are near coming back. The KIA MVP award, though, will probably have a change in rankings as Jokic takes his rest.

The extension of knee is of course not a simple or painless injury, I can feel how much it must have hurt, the patella tendon got the most of it I suppose, but I am sure that he wil lbe better. The shock therapy and massages are helpful in most cases and as long as he does that almost daily, and then trains it carefully without much weight, then I am sure that physiotherapy alone will make him be better in no time.

A month isn't that long, 18 games is a lot of course but he will be good enough eventually to comeback and play like this without much lingering pain, and by playoff time I am sure he will have zero residue from this injury. What he needs however is not to repeat it, which is possible but he needs to be careful.

There’s still time, so let’s hope he makes it. He’s such an underrated player.
I know he’s still young, but he plays with a lot of maturity, and I think he deserves to be on that big stage with the All-Star players.

He is young but every season he puts more into his performance which I really like about him. He has already become an important player for Rockets now.

His offense is better this season. His defense is still criticized but he is still young as we said and he can improve it also hopefully.

With Reaves sideline for an injury I think there's a chance Sengün might be the one to get more chance to be selected and yeah that's totally a snubbed voting.

Reaves is out for nearly a whole month indeed. I also see it as an opportunity but the gap is really huge. At least I hope people don't miss the days on which votes are worth 3x. For example today!

It's not that easy, they really need to do MRI as reported to see the injury in his knees and for sure a month might be enough to heal that injury so that is the initial assessment. So it's now up to Murray on how he will carry the team without Jokic.

Although they have several players prior that is also injured like Gordon and Braun. But Jokic and Murray was able to carry the team. However, without Jokic, it's going to be a very difficult road for them and the team will have to step up specially Murray as he will be the main offensive weapon.

Currently they are in the 3rd spot in the West, but they could go down in the standing as this conference is very competitive.

It's not going to be easy for the Nuggets moving forward to play without Jokic. We all know how good Jokic is in the court as is a complete player and really the main man for the Nuggets. But as far as their coach goes, he is still optimistic that they will be fine without Jokic for the time being (which I think is very good for a coach to say so that his players are not going to be disappointment or panic without Jokic). If it will be a whole month then it's like 10 or more games without Jokic. And so I guess they will have to go and be positive that they are going to continue and win games without him.

LOL too many fake news, Davis transferred to the Golden State Warriors for Kuminga, Moody and Podz. I thought that's a real one that just went through my FYP. Clout chasers are taking the advantage by making contents that seems to be a satire. I haven't seen the official announcement from the teams involved and even in the official website of NBA.

Another rumour is linking Hawks with Anthony Davis lately.    But the main issue is salary cap of course. Like will Hawks be able to afford both Trae Young and Davis?

• Trae Young makes $45,997,800 a year
• While Davis is making $54,126,450 a year

They will need to be careful while going for such trade. Davis is still a great player despite being 32. However the injuries are causing a big question mark on this possible trade also. Do you think they should push to the limits for him?

That's another one, I haven't read yet about him for the Hawks. But if that's the next team that he'd go, he's probably a good addition there with Trae. I think for the Hawks to afford him needs to waive a lot of contracts there just to give room for him. But are they willing to do that? maybe not. The only thing that they will not like about him is about being injury prone. Although he's really no doubt an effective big man.

Yeah, obviously. The funny thing is they’re even reacting with heart or wow, which clearly shows they got baited. Like, don’t they have common sense or at least try to search if it’s true or not? Lol. I don’t think the Warriors would even need Davis. He’s a great player, but he’s always injured. The Warriors obviously won’t spend that much just to get a player who can’t be used. It would be a different story if he were healthy most of the time throughout the season.

Really sad news for Nikola Jokić. He’ll be out for a while, and from what I’ve read, that likely takes him out of the MVP race.

It’s disappointing, especially after such a strong start to the season. Still, the good news is that the injury isn’t season-ending and he should be able to return. Since the MVP is probably off the table now, the focus should shift to winning another championship.

I think they still have a real chance. By the time he comes back, Gordon should be healthy as well. For now, they just need to hold on to their solid position in the standings and not slide too much while Jokic is out.
