Nikola Jokić seemingly puts an end to free agency rumors before they really beginhttps://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nikola-jokic-puts-end-free-agency-rumors-nuggets/He will stay as a Nugget. I don't blame the guy. He is simple and seems to be content with what he have and I think the only thing that can change his mind is if it's about horse racing. That's one sport that he loves, and maybe he loves it more than basketball because last time they won a championship, he couldn't wait to go home and see his horse. He has no beef with the management, and I don’t think the Nuggets would want to lose Jokic either. They’re still a title contender because of him. He’s very simple and doesn’t have many demands or drama compared to other superstars. It’s like as long as the Nuggets want him and they’re paying him, he’ll play for them and give his all. He’ll stay loyal as long as the Nuggets want him. With that kind of attitude, I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays with the Nuggets until he retires.

These team has very low chance to be on championship even on their previous champion roster without Jokic. It’s dumb already to trade most of their bench player after they won that series so I doubt they will do the same thing with Jokic that boost their team popularity to this level. Even Melo on his prime failed to give this team a championship while Jokic carry this team on both scoring and assists. I believe Nuggets has high chance to be in championship if they will make their roster complete until the end. Their last year playoffs run ended because key players already suffering injury.

What a game by Spurs man! They beat Rockets by a 25-point gap and scored 145 points... They fully dominated the game as well considering they were in the lead nearly the whole game!
Normally you would know Rockets as better in defense rather than offense. But their defending was horrible in this game honestly. We can already have some predictions related to what can happen for Rockets during playoffs.
An early elimination wouldn't surprise me...
Houston is a deeply problematic team. They have layers upon layers of issues but the root cause of it all is Ime Udoka. it seems like he doesn’t run any offensive drills. By the time the ball crosses half court, the shot clock is practically gone... And the next problem after Ime Udoka is unfortunately Alperen Sengun. His defense has regressed significantly following his injury during the season.

Wemby is definitely the generational talent level player. As long as he stays healthy, I do not see why he would not be a top 50 of all time, and even more, depends on how healthy he stays and how consistent he is, if he keeps missing games, and becomes like a Kawhi Leonard type of player then yeah he may not, but if he gets healthy and plays on average 65+ games a year, for 15+ years, then I can see him become even as high as top 20 ever, and have multiple rings to go for it as well.
I know that sounds a lot, but this dude is unique, we have never seen anyone like him, and he could become a player who goes 30 ppg, 12+ rebounds and 3+ blocks per game, and do that for fifteen years without a trouble, that's insane length and ability combined.

Wemby is truly on his way to becoming a legend. his thing isn't just about his physical anomaly or raw talent. his mentality, professionalism and passion for the game are also elite. from his body language on the court you can see that he both genuinely enjoys the game and treats it as a profession he aims to master at the highest level. as long as he avoids any major injuries he has the potential to eventually enter the GOAT conversation.

Avoiding injuries at his size is no easy task. He has done a great job of strengthening, but he’s so long it seems like it is only a matter of time before an ankle or a knee goes out. If he does stay healthy though, I agree he has a chance to be a top 10 player of all time.

But it’s possible, just like Nikola Jokić the guy is already becoming a legend and he’s not injury prone. I think Wemby has probably learned a lot already from his previous injuries, and the management as well knows how important he is to the team. Now they don’t seem to put too much pressure on him. They surrounded him with players who trust each other and can shoot well, so they can space the floor better. Because of that the offense becomes more unpredictable, it’s not just Wemby that teams have to worry about anymore, there are other threats on the floor too.

But if it's the player that starts to show the signs that he wants out, they're going to give him what he wants as he's served his purpose. Right now, I don't see any reason why he would like to move out of Nuggets as he's enjoying his company there.

That's one sport that he loves, and maybe he loves it more than basketball because last time they won a championship, he couldn't wait to go home and see his horse. Anyway, I think that will stop the offers that are being thrown at him, including the rumors about him changing teams. The Nuggets are still strong despite AG being in and out and Jokic being injured recently. I've heard that phrase on multiple players already, and some of them might ended up being on their team forever, but most of them ended up getting traded. I'm not saying that it will be the same for Jokic, but he doesn't have the control of his own faith, but the management does. He can say that he can be a Nugget forever, but if the management feels that he needs to be traded, he will be traded. Not on this off-season, but in the future. Giannis also said in the past that he wants to be a Buck forever, but now he wants to leave the team in order to get another title. Doncic also said that he want to be a Maverick forever, but look what happened. Their own stupid GM traded him for nothing. Jokic can be the most loyal Nugget right now, but the question is will the management be loyal to him as well? I mean TBH, I have this feeling that he might be to a point where he will accept pay-cuts just to make the team better. You said it already that horse racing is more important to him than basketball as we're seeing on his reactions but nevertheless, we can say that the Nuggets are better with him, and they should maximize the prime years of him, and build a team around him.

I thought the Celtics would struggle with adjustments after Jayson Tatum returned to the lineup. But looking at the results, the team has actually played even better this season. Tatum has already played two straight games since coming back and they are still undefeated. His performance has been impressive right away. Hopefully he stays healthy and avoids another injury. Another player that came to my mind is Payton Pritchard. Even after Tatum’s return, his stats in the last two games are still solid. He is still averaging around 18 PPG. I wonder if he will receive a good offer next season considering how well he has been playing.

Of course they will not adjust because it's their main man and they'll probably adjust to him instead. He was so sure that he'll not be returning as a role player and he was true to his words and that's what should we expect to leaders. With Pritchard I think it's time he need some good offers and he probably earned that one considering his contribution to the team, it's been tremendous.

He’s definitely not someone who relies solely on his height either. i think if he were about 10 centimeters shorter, he’d be much more efficient and have a more mobile playing style.

Yeah right, Tatum still being respected by his teammates and the managements as we witness how Celtics provide that after he comeback, he still have decent numbers, though his minutes still needs to adjust as they need also to take care of his injury but in terms of quality performances I do believe that he still have his team. With Pritchard, you said it right he should gain decent offer after his contract he provide that lift while Tatum is not around and still continue providing the numbers even Tatum is now back to the lineup.

Is it normal for Detroit, who were leading by 16 points in the first half, to lose the game by only 2 points? I've seen a lot of surprising results this year, but for Detroit to lose to a team like Brooklyn after being so far ahead makes me think differently.
I don't want to play devil's advocate, but scores like this don't seem normal to me.
As someone who has been interested in NBA for more than 30 years now, I can tell you that either case is not impossible. Is it possible that this could be one of those games where Detroit gets ahead so much that the betting on Nets to win was high, and somehow some betting scheme happened, and made a lot of money and got all the money people bet on Detroit? Not impossible, and could have happened. Is it possible that Detroit was just silly and ended up playing shitty and lost fair and square? Also equally possible .

There you go, the Warriors are now at the 9th seed after losing to the Jazz by 3 points. Well, at least they have a secured spot in the play-in even if they fall to the 10th seed. I don’t think the 11th seed Grizzlies can still catch up to them. And of course, Porzingis is out again. At this point, it would be a surprise if he ever plays 2+ games in a row. Even with Curry, with how the Warriors are performing right now, just getting into the playoffs would already be a feat.

Lol, about KP, but yeah, he seems to be no longer in his prime, at least he gets a championship ring with the Celtics. As for their lost, it was really a close game and I thought that this will go into or even Warriors winning. But Gui missed that 3 point in the corner, so it's heart breaking lost for them. Warriors shows resiliency with this bunch of players, no star, just playing good defense and sharing the ball. But this time, it's not enough for them to get another win.

Jazz with 20-45 are 14 seed in western conference but still they were able to beat warriors by a margin of just 3 points. In case of victory, Warriors would be 8th seed in western conference but still they are 9th seed with position secured for play-in. Jazz were ahead in first three quarters and in beginning of forth quarter Jazz had a lead of seven points and Warriors tried there best but were short of 3 points at the end of the match.

This game really was funny. If you look at the lineups, both teams basically missed everybody. Normally Utah wanted to lose games, didn't they? I mean why showing up and win in a game where everybody expects them to lose anyway, makes no sense. Well now they have 1 win more, which they don't need if they want to improve their chances for the lottery in the draft. What a strange game.

Sai won the duel against Jokic by 3 points. Oklahoma only had the upper hand in the second quarter, but finished that period with a 9-point lead. Denver dominated the other two quarters. It was a very close game. Sai would have had a triple-double if he had grabbed one more rebound, but it didn't happen. He played a major role in the victory, finishing the game with 35 points, 15 assists, and 9 rebounds.
As you know, Jokic also had a triple-double; he recorded 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists. It was as if Jokic scoring 3 fewer points than Sai determined the outcome of the game.

SGA is really something special... He scored 35 points with only 4 FTs. He doesn't prefer 3-PT much normally but in this one he made 3 of them. Especially 2 of them came in really critical moments of Q4. Jokic also played great but couldn't win the duel against SGA. Currently SGA is still number 1 candidate for regular season MVP as far as I know. And I believe he is likely to stay there unless he gets injured again.
