No Reaves, Luka, LeBron, and Ayton, big problem. As of writing this post, the Spurs are up by 34 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. Wemby is balling with 40 points already. In blocks, steals, rebounds, assists, etc., the Spurs are completely dominating the Lakers without those four. It's over for this one. It would be hard for the Lakers to turn this around or even close that gap without those four in the lineup.

though the Lakers are missing their core, It feels like a throwback to watch the 2014 Spurs. I’m not sure if there’s ever been another team in history that played basketball this beautifully. They truly played basketball like poetry back then. There wasn't a single weak link in the team. everyone worked perfectly together, like pieces of a puzzle

When they miss so many big players in a game of that magnitude that would be absolutely devastating for them, and when you see the result of the game you will understand that they really do miss this players, they really do miss LeBron and Luka, I didn’t know that Luka wasn’t going to play that game, but I was completely sure that LeBron wasn’t going to play the game as well, I have known that Spurs was going to be beat the Lakers, even with the presence of LeBron, Luka, Ayton, it has been a very spectacular performance from the spurs team who I’m thinking are going to have a very successful season and they will go all the way in the playoffs, Wemby have been a good player for the spurs and he has been showing alot of good performances and leading this Spurs teams and having 40 points on a bounce that is a big performance from the player.

Lakers basically came out with a g-league level of team, so it was definitely expected that it would be a boring game. However, I expected better from Wemby, not going to lie. Sure he scored 40 points, but we are talking about a basketball superstar with unlikely ability of being a guard level talented for a player who is 20 feet tall (okay maybe not THAT tall lol) so I was expecting him to use this game to maybe try to break some scoring records.

He played only 26 minutes, which I expected him to play a lot more, but more importantly he shot only 20 times and I honestly expected them to just give him the ball every single time because it looked like there was nobody that could have stopped him, dude could have scored a lot more if he just wanted to.

LOL, there are so many things wrong with your nonsense post. First of all, this game ended like 24 hours ago, so it's basically old news. Second, Wemby only played 26 minutes because he didn't have to play more. Resting your body is more important than chasing empty numbers. Criticizing somebody for "only" scoring 40 points is pretty ridiculous don't you think?

And by the way, only 6 players in the whole NBA average more than 20 shots per game, Wemby had 20 shots in 26 minutes.

Woah, I’m surprised the Warriors managed to keep the lead against the Spurs even without Curry, and the Spurs haven’t even taken the lead once. But I won’t be surprised if the Spurs manage a comeback. As of writing this post, the 16 point lead is now down to 5 points. I won’t be upset if the Warriors lose in the end, that’s the Spurs after all. They don’t have Curry, and the Spurs have Castle, Wemby, Fox, and Vassell playing.

Houston suffered another defeat. They had already signaled this loss yesterday, winning that game with difficulty, but today the Los Angeles Clippers beat Houston 102-105. Alperen scored only 16 points this time. Kawhi was the difference-maker, recording a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds.

Wemby is a monster, There will be a lot of players need to guard and make him work harder just to stop him, if he will be guarded 1 on 1 its different that height skills, and the speed with dribbling and shooting improving its only a matter of time, the spurs should be prepared to put a good players around him or they will wasted this kind of player, he did not even adding muscles it should be natural as they don't want him to gain it artificial, so maybe 1-2 years this dude will destroy the rim even more.

Amazingly played by Kawhi that last shot with a foul gives them the win, I was in the impression that it's going to OT but having Kawhi which fearless in taking big shot, and they made it winning against the home team, Alperen's production is not that much, KD was the leading scorer but not also that much providing 21 points but ain't enough to survive to win the game.

What an unbelievable loss by 76ers last night! They lost to Knicks by 49 points... There was no Joel Embiid maybe but it's of course not an excuse for such a big one. 3 losses in last 4 games by them. Their form is really in bad shape.


A Udoka classic! What was he thinking really by keeping Sheppard on the bench while they were 3 points behind in the last seconds of the game? Sheppard had 5 three pointers with a 50% accuracy in this game. Really hard to understand Udoka sometimes...

Both, for me, Doug Christie is a good player during his stint with the Kings in the 2000's, but as a coach, he might not be as good as what the Kings might have thought of him. And then the players as well, you don't know who is the leader here, DeRozan? Lavine? Westbrook?

Then their second unit, it's non-existent, so everyone should go and rebuild this franchise. I also don't know why they got Lavine? We have seen that him and DeRozan is not a perfect fit in the Bulls uniform and yet the management try to team them up again.

This is lakers we are talking about and you have to be a good team if you are lakers, being this bad with nobody isn't good for them.

This could be one of the highest valued teams in all of NBA, so you expect them to act like it, instead of being a g-league level team on the field. In any case, we should probably see them get better by playoffs.

There’s now way they will declare player as injured if they just want to rest him for the match beside their position is still on the tight spot that a losing streak can put them on the play-in so they will not gonna rest while they still doesn’t secure the playoffs spot.

Teams just too sensitive now on injury that an early detection needs to rest immediately in preparation for the playoffs.

Well, if you're a Laker fan then you will really get upset because most or literally all of their starting 5 didn't play against the Spurs. They let their 2nd and 3rd unit play while the Spurs went all in for them. I mean if you're Spurs, that's a bit disappointing.

I don't know the reason why the Lakers let their starting 5 sit, but maybe some load management? Or the all-star? Or the Playoffs? Whatever the case is, we don't know the specific reason, and being the highest valued team in the NBA doesn't connect to the stars being rested. They might be at the top in terms of value, but that doesn't mean that they'll not let their players rest. The connection just doesn't make sense at all. Anyway, let's move on from it, and they're still at 6th right now in the standings, and even though they're just one game above the 7th seeded Suns, I don't think that they'll end the regular season as a play-in team.

What's good is that, the Lakers gave Bronny much playing time, and he scored 12 points on 25 minutes on gameplay. It's a bit disappointing though that they did this on their own home where they let their starting 5 sit. It would be better if they did on the road, but it is what it is.

I thought he will gonna have a triple double on this match. I wasted my 1$ bet on him to have that stats. 

Some team already have lots of injury reports while other already slowly coming back. I think this is normal occurrences on NBA when playoffs are already near.

Not that Lakers starter needs to be well rested though. I believe this is a legit injury resting for Lakers. It’s a boring game to watch but it’s frustrating if you made a prematch bet expecting that starters will play.

Yeah, but it’s kinda normal since the management is only doing what they think is best for the team. They don’t want their key players to get injured before the playoffs or not be in full condition. They’re already managing and conditioning their players so they’ll be ready and able to perform at their best in the playoffs. In the playoffs, missing one key player means a lot because it can change the outcome of the series. Not to mention, the way teams play in the playoffs is different from the regular season. So for me, it’s pretty fine that they’re taking careful action.

Well last few games before All-Star weekend then a little break which will be dreadful lol, but at least a reset if you bet on NBA and haven't been hitting anything and what not. What are you most interested to see this weekend? Dunk-off, Skills comp, 3Pt contest or the actual game on Sunday? The dunk-off hasn't been the same since most don't wanna join for some reason or another and Mac McClung embarrassing them the last 2-3 times doesn't help either .

Dallas Mavericks are saying that Cooper Flagg has a foot injury and won’t be participating in the all star activities. This smells a little fishy to me. Seems like they just don’t want him to risk injury and are shutting him down as a result. True superstar treatment and he’s brand new to the league…

Cavaliers won 10 of their last 11 games. That's hell of a good record!    They way they beat Nuggets in the meantime was also worth watching. With Harden's arrival I think the team is much better now.

By the way there are only 3 games left before All-Star event. Those are all going to be played tonight. Lakers - Mavericks might be a nice one to watch maybe. But without Doncic it would be less fun...

The Cavs are definitely a sleeper team. Reminds me a little of OKC last year. I don’t think they have enough to go far in the playoffs, but they’re a dangerous matchup.

Glad the Lakers and Mavericks are playing on Amazon Prime so I can watch it. A shame there’s no Luka. This would’ve been a big event otherwise.

Wemby now has more 40+ point games than Tim Duncan. Now I am not saying he is better of course, Tim Duncan had five rings with this team, it's clear how amazing he is and how much of a hall of famer he was as well. I am just saying, look at the ceiling of Wemby and realize that if they can build a good squad around him, they would be unstoppable.

Wemby is unique in the sense that nobody in the world has existed like him, nobody who was nearly 7'4 and play like a guard before, Durant was the first anomaly like that and we have even bigger version now. Sochan was let go recently, which goes to show that they are really trying to build around Wemby and trying to hope for better teammates around him. That dude is good enough to be first star in a championship team, as long as you build a good squad around him.
