I don't think that Udoka has mismanaged the team, on the contrary, he hasn't done any experiment except maybe when some players got injured so his rotation changed. It's just the better team won tonight, they are in a winning streak and so it's hard to stop a team like that with their mind just stick on winning regardless on how they are going to face. And you have to admire on how they lock up Durant and Sengun early. They are one of the best defensive team right now so that is a big plus on why they are on a winning streak. They have players too that will step up when needed and not just LaMelo Ball. Kon Knueppel has big 24 points while Sengun was just limited to 7 points.

True that Udoka knows his defense and builds a culture for sure. But his offense is non existent. It's honestly crazy how a team with this much raw talent can be this bad on the offensive end. whole offense is just Alperen post ups and hoping he creates some magic out of nowhere. If that doesn't work, it's just KD and Thompson taking turns playing hero ball. No structure at all.

He needs to rotate more and try to blend different players and combinations instead of pushing his luck with that same players inside the court, same with what you said Udoka needs to balance his players he needs to react even his core player if it's not performing well he can bench or give extra rest and allow other player to fill the spot, who knows timing for that individual to blend well with other core/key players will bring that spark that they need to win the game.

He builds his team on defense, that is Udoka style before when he was with the Celtics. The problem is that his player seems is not responding that's why he try to rotate as much player as he can. But he can't find the perfect combination right now.

Sure KD is doing his best, but sometimes there are games that he was check and can't score. So everyone is inconsistent right now, and in this game it was evident that it was Sengun. So Udoka will have to find a way for his team to win games in bunch and not like today they will play good and then the next game it looks like they are not a top tier team and lost.

Perhaps he wants to utilize Sengun as much as possible since their roster was built around Sengun that is working before. Udoka is just so dumb for not experimenting with their bench if their starter is not working.

Are they trying to lose because they are positioning themselves for the playoffs and they are trying to avoid a team in the first round its being uncharacteristic that they lose to weak teams, Durant will be so mad instead seems they were relax and know what they are doing, but yes their coach should experiment also since its still far in the playoffs and taking advantage to test those rotation is now, they wont be able to experiment when its playoff times, but yes they are still a good team and a playoff contender.

That’s because they have a very strong starting lineup, and they’re maximizing it really well, which is why the bench ends up getting less action. I know they’re on a two-game losing streak right now, but if you look at their standing, it’s still pretty decent.

So for now, I don’t really think there’s anything wrong with their system, especially since it’s already brought them up to around fourth place.

I agree on this, its worth to mentioned that they lose on team that has a good winning momentum even though it’s not a big team that has lots of star player.

The real test is on the playoffs since team can do adjustments against team strategy for multiple games.

I really believe in Ime Udoka. He was the one who really unlocked the true potential of the Boston , and if he wasn’t removed because of his violation, I honestly think he could’ve already won a championship there. Boston is still playing with the same system now, and you can tell a lot of that was built during his time.

Now he’s brought that same mindset to the Houston Rockets, and this team wasn’t even that good before he arrived. They were struggling, but now they’re starting to look like a real playoff team, especially with Kevin Durant now with the team. Of course, even good teams go through rough stretches and take some bad losses sometimes. That happens to everyone. What matters is how they bounce back and where they stand overall.

Right now, they actually have a better standing than teams like the Timberwolves,  Warriors, and LA Clippers, and those are all considered playoff teams.

I believe Alperen is being utilized completely incorrectly. The coaching staff is asking him to do everything... battle with the bruisers in the paint, act as the primary playmaker, bring the ball up the floor and still find his own shots through post ups or penetration. Expecting a player to focus on all of these roles simultaneously is incredibly demanding.

This is what I believe too. Boston was struggling too with other coaches before they get championship since they are choker on the playoffs or finals before despite having a good players line-up.

His method improves Boston a lot and all the players including the bench performs better because they trust their main player to carry the rest of the game after they do the part.

The testing on their starters is what I highly believe especially developing Sengun into different position to find his sweet spot on this current line-up with KD.

Fred missing being one of the most important parts of their season, Fred would have been perfect for this team, he could both shoot and also pass around and playmake which would help everyone. They started great even without him, because for a while Durant and Alperen was a deadly duo and they did that, but now both are injured so they are not doing it.

A couple games on Amazon Prime tonight.  Not ones I care to watch, but they'll be on.

So it looks like the only big move the Lakers made was picking up Luke Kennard. Not a horrible pickup, but not the move that is going to take them to the Finals…

Warriors and Suns tonight on Amazon Prime. Not sure I can stand to watch Dillon Brooks, but the Warriors like to make him look bad so maybe it’ll be worth the watch.

And that's what the Warriors did, they play good defense on him and make him uncomfortable. And the sequence in the last seconds was really entertaining but in the end it was the Warriors who win with a good comeback because of their defense.

For Ja Morant, no teams is interested with his talents, as there are no offer for him. Another great trade in my opinion is Jose Alvarado going to the Knicks, he could be a good addiction to the back court for the Knicks specially if Jalen Brunson is sitting to take a breather.

There's no guarantee that the better team will win the All-Star game; the format changes have made watching it like a regular game meaningless. Things change every year, and has anyone enjoyed watching the All-Star game in the last 5-6 years?

I would love to see alley-oops, dunks, and real competition like in the 2000s. In the last 10 years, every player just comes to the game, shoots a three-pointer, and leaves. There's no defense, no competition, no All-Star spirit.

They've tried many different formats for the All-Star Game, but I think the format in last 2 years is the worst. The games are too short. There shouldn't be games ending at 25 and 40 points. Most players don't get enough playing time. Plus, G League players who shouldn't even be in the All-Star Game end up playing more. Back in the day, a player would get at least 10 minutes of playing time. If a coach gave players less than that, they would be criticized. People vote to watch their favorite players. The games were 48 minutes long, played like a regular game and we enjoyed it. First the defenses disappeared and now the game length is gone. NBA needs to go back to the old All-Star format.

It’s not that no one is interested, it’s just that his value has fallen. Injuries and past controversies have lowered his value, and no team wants to pay that much for him anymore. Of course, who would want to pay that much for an injured player who’s also considered somewhat problematic? Look at Giannis, he has a higher salary, but different teams still show interest and are willing to offer multiple players along with future first round picks because they know he’s worth what they’re paying.
