In NBA drama news. Luka Doncic apparently has been putting all of his assets in his Mother’s name so when his wife filed for divorce she was shocked to learn what she would be getting or the lack thereof. She’s now trying to get full custody of the kids so she has an income, which is why Luka is upset. Crazy that these athletes have to do stuff like this to beat gold diggers at their own game.

It's crazy that there are people like that. Those who will use the divorce rule just so they can get the money quickly. Well, I am from a traditional country, so that doesn't happen a lot for us.

Anyway, I have just been reading all the comments about Bam's 83-point game. Good or bad.

Another head coach around the league, David Adelman of the Denver Nuggets, spoke about Adebayo's historic performance, defending the three-time All-Star.

"That guy is as professional as it gets in our league and what he stands for in the NBA. So for him to take one night and kind of go a little bit crazy, I don’t think it’s a bad thing."

It's not a bad thing, that is true. In fact, the NBA might've needed it more. A trend, a hype, or whatever is needed to boost the energy of the fans, or just to be on the front page. It is something that happens very rarely in the NBA because the team management/owners would not want you to play some more because it's already a blowout game, and they want to keep you safe. It's an opportunity given, and he took it. It also shows the support of his teammates, which is a good thing for their chemistry.

This is something not limited to NBA but also in football. Same case happened with Moroccan soccer star Achraf Hakimi in 2023 and his wife Hiba Abouk has to walk away from divorce court with nothing because her husband fortune was in his mother's name. Achraf Hakimi and Hiba Abouk both two sons and I don't know why has the custody. If you are popular athlete with huge assets then chose your spouse wisely or keep your fortunes on your parents name.

The only interesting thing is that Bam Adebayo is the one to break Kobe's record. I mean there are way better players who can do it with much better stats. 

That's not even a record technically when you remember Wilt's 100-point game in the distant past. But anyways... However I should add a thing about it here.

For me there are so many insults to the game with this performance. A non shooter that averaged 20 points once in his career beating a legendary scoring number is just not what you want to see. Bam is a good player but not a lethal scorer. So him taking 22 3 points shots is already ridiculous. Then we have the 43 free throw attempts, which is pure insanity. This was record chasing at it's very worst I have ever seen. The whole team working together basically fixing the score so he can take more shots is so against fair play, hard to not open an investigation.
If what the Heat did would have happened in a "normal" NBA game there would have an investigation for match fixing, plain and simple. This was not basketball, this was a rig job to get something to beat a legendary scoring number.

The NBA died a tiny bit more that night. People are already unhappy with the product but what happened there is straight up disrespectful to the fans and the late great Kobe Bryant.

There are some folks coming to Bam's defense today.  I actually feel a little bad for putting the blame on him for the late game fouls that let him pass Kobe.  People are circulating videos of him today that show he was telling his team not to foul at the end of the game but they did it anyway to give him the chance to break Kobe's mark.  At least that shows he was in the right head space and didn't want his team to disrespect the game of basketball, but peer pressure got him to do it anyway.  Not sure that makes it better, but it at least shows that Bam was trying to do the right thing.

Nuggets just destroyed Rockets last night by nearly 30 points. This was their 4th face-to-face and Nuggets already won 3 of them. I know it doesn't guarantee anything but it gives some signals for what can happen in case of a playoff series between this two.

Jokic didn't even need to take a big responsibility but still finished the game with a triple-double. Neither Durant nor Şengün stepped up their game to help Rockets show some more resistance. I still believe Udoka shouldn't be this team's coach.

Dwight Howard has officially retired from the NBA. I still think the Lakers would have won another championship if they didn’t get rid of him and JaVale McGee. Dwight was one of the best big men to ever do it in his prime. A shame injuries and shenanigans limited his career but I’m glad he did get a ring in the end.

They could have won another one if they were not dismantle by the lakers, but i guess its about the financial side that is why they were not retain, after the pandemic and players were able to play again, but such a good run, and some consider it the hardest season, not only because there is no homecourt advantage but the mental health of the players because we don't know if  some players have covid and might give others or transfer the it, and that is psychological its really hard,  you don't know if you get one while playing.

Big Baby Davis is out of jail. The former Celtic was sentenced to 3 years for his part of an insurance scam against the league. He has been seen dancing on online videos celebrating his release. I hope Glen Davis can turn his life around. He made too much money to turn to fraud.

I am still not over with the whole 83 points thing. I can see that many people just keep saying that it's a "fake" one because of how many free throws he used, he used record breaking number of them. But let's be honest, by third quarter he was scoring very valid, he had like sixty points that was not all that much stat padding, they were all very normal just scoring well today type of thing, sure on the last quarter, specially on the last five minutes they did made it a bit too obvious, but still it's 83 points, that's something you DO go for, and I think they did the right thing.

Plus it was a bit on Wizards to keep fouling him, if they weren't so bad, they would have just defended him well without fouling him that much, I have seen the fouls, they weren't foul baiting fouls, they were actually wizards defending terrible type of fouls.

Howard had a big role during their run in the bubble, and that roster that they have is the best that they have in the past 6 years.

Dwight was one of the best rim protectors during his prime, and even in his stint in LA, he's producing some solid numbers especially in the rebounds and blocks category. The only problem with him is that, he's too slow compared to other bigs out there, and he didn't develop a skill of shooting three-point. In today's era, teams aren't prioritizing centers who can't shoot threes right now. Look at where we at right now. Most of the centers are shooting threes already to stretch the defense of the opposing team. That's one reason why many didn't get Dwight aside from his age of course.

Well, at least he won a title in his NBA career so I think that's fine already. He will be remembered because of the ring that he got in LA, his amazing career back in Orlando, and his funny moments inside the court including kissing the head of a bald career back when he's in Charlotte.

Person like this usually will find other opportunities to get quick money given his connection to the league.

Some ex NBA player are already involved on match fixing so I will not be surprised for a person that has a record of fraud will commit this again on the newer scheme in the league.

This guys have enough money if they just invest and spend properly their career earnings.

These two are the ones I’ve been wanting to see in the Warriors. JaVale McGee is now playing well in Australia. He’s even hitting jumpers and threes. For me, he still deserves at least a vet minimum in the NBA, especially now that he can shoot outside the paint, which is what modern NBA centers do. I’d pick McGee over Horford any day. Give him the minutes Horford is getting, and I believe he would produce more than Horford right now.

San Antonio vs. Denver game was very close.
San Antonio was ahead until the final quarter, but Denver came from behind in the last quarter and secured a fantastic victory. Denver led by 17 points in the final quarter.
Jokic achieved another triple-double. 31 points, 20 rebounds, and 12 assists played a major role in the win.

Wemby was absent for San Antonio. If he had been there, San Antonio wouldn't have given up the game.
After a two-game losing streak, Denver showed how good a team they are by defeating Houston and San Antonio.

Although they make fun of Javale McGee early on in his career, but he could have a better career in the NBA if teams still picks him as back up center. As you have said, he still has the moves and hitting his outside shot. Still good to see him still playing outside of the NBA though, and grinding and making money. The thing with Horford is that he is lucky that he played with the Celtics and won rings and that's why he is playing with the Warriors. And to be honest, I don't want to compare the two, but Horford has the better career obviously. But it's good to see Javale back in the NBA and just imagine him guarding Wemby or Jokic, he could be posterized though. But I'm seeing that he is not afraid to go with this player.

Quite surprised ending, I thought that it could have been closer as Rockets might have the end because they need to win this one to stay above in the standing. But then again, the same problem that they have been plague in the second half of the regular play-off, they are very inconsistent.

Just got married in 2023 and now they’re already talking about divorce, that’s really quick. But Luka Dončić already made a lot of money in the last few years, so some people might think the wife is after that, who knows.

But anyway that’s their personal business. At least Luka seems smart enough to handle the situation and not get taken advantage of. If there’s really no money involved then maybe the wife has a valid reason, but if money is part of it then Luka could be the victim here. Hopefully this won’t affect his game. I’m sure he’ll still play like usual, and don’t worry he still has his buddy Austin Reaves around, they’ll probably hang out and Luka will forget about the problem for a while.

Seems like there’s really a problem with this team because they suddenly started tanking. I don’t think the coach can be blamed for that since they were already doing well before Kevin Durant arrived. They weren’t really a championship team yet, but there was hope that with Durant they could become one.

But based on what we’re seeing in the news, even though Durant denied it, his teammates seem to think that was him. Of course he would deny it, but if our guess is correct then that could explain why the team suddenly looks different. If that’s really the case then I probably won’t back them in their games anymore, especially if they reach the playoffs. I’d even guess a first round exit if things don’t change.

Yeah, Jokic is dominating the SA paint which is very crucial on their solid run to make a come back. Wemby is vital for Spurs offense since his always give SA a spot to have an easy shot when he is already positioned and very good on defense.

Spurs roster is heavily reliant to Wemby and I doubt they will advance on playoffs further if Wemby will be out. Good tihing for Spurs Wemby injury is just minor.

Spurs will have a solid run with healthy Wemby.
