He saved the day for the Lakers, if he missed that shot they would have lost. He doesn’t play a lot of minutes, but he’s proving how valuable he is to the team. I’ve noticed in the past few games he’s been contributing consistently, nothing too flashy, but you can see he’s a clutch player.

Congrats to the Lakers, keep that winning streak going and build momentum heading into the playoffs.
Lakers now ranked at number 3 ( 46-25) good season for them.

Lakers rightly deserve to be at number 3rd spot in Western Conference after extending there winning streak to 9 games. Lakers winning streak was about to be broken until the 3-pointer came from Luke Kennard with just 0.6 sec remaining in 4th quarter. It was very entertaining toward the end of the match. It was LeBron James 1612 game and that is record for the most regular-season games played in NBA history. Good thing for LeBron was that his team won that match in his historic game.

btw team is dead tired. Luka’s calf was wrapped every timeout in the 4th. imo they should just punt the Detroit game and rest the starters. they already got the wins they needed on the road.

KD passed MJ and the Rockets won. They made a strong comeback in the last quarter, but they almost gave the game away in the final possessions. Amen Thompson saved the night. While FVV is still out, it looks like they found their leading PG. Sheppard started to play better, he had 14 assists in this game as well.

The Rockets still have a lot to improve. Most importantly they need to learn how to close out games properly and develop consistency. If they can improve in those areas, we can start to see them as a more serious contender.

19,597 fans in attendance. It was the 2nd highest attendance in franchise history for thr Orlando Magic home crowd. Just one person short for the most in their history. Well, I guess the tickets there are cheaper than in LA. So, there should be a lot of LA fans out there enough to make noise in the stadium. And, I think it's also the same cases for other teams too. I remember how the Miami Heat crowd chanted "MVP" for Luka when he scored 60. That pretty much upsets Bam after his 83pts effort .

Those road games against Nuggets, Heat, and Magic, the fans really had their tickets worth more than what they paid for. Those were insane nail-biter games, plus some bonus NBA records for both Luka and Bron.

There's Celtics vs. Timberwolves game broadcast tonight. The Celtics have won 4 games in a row. Brown is still the team's leader, even though Tatum is back. There are 12 games left, they're battling with the Knicks for 2nd place.

Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid seem to be out again. If they were playing, we'd probably get a more competitive game, but right now the Celtics look like heavy favorites against this Timberwolves. Still, I'll watch the game to see the teams' latest form.

The Wolves managed to beat the Celtics by 10 points even without Ant, ending a 21 year drought. The last time the Wolves won in Boston was in 2005, when Garnett was their star player. Back then, Ant was just 3 years old. For sure, Wolves fans made some cashouts there. The odds for the Wolves were very good. Oddsmakers thought the Wolves’ losing streak in Boston would continue, especially without Ant. Who would have thought they’d end it without him, and with Tatum, Brown, and White all playing for the Celtics.

Thanks for this info, I never thought that this kind of record existed or that the Wolves didn't win against the Celtics for that long. I guess there are records that we haven't seen at all. And speaking of records, I read that Lebron has surpassed Robert Parish (a Boston Celtic legend), for most games played in NBA history. So I guess it's just a matter of time that Lebron breaking those kind of records because of his longevity. Suns finally getting a win against the Raptors, to stay at number 7 spot, and 5 games ahead of the Clippers who is at the 8th spot.

Impressive fun fact! This show how tough Celtics with their home court advantage considering that they don’t have Tatum most of the season while they re-shuffle players that means they are are vulnerable this year yet they just lose not against Wolves after protecting it for 21 years.

I believe there’s a lot of this interesting facts on NBA that just being rediscovered due to the availability of complete stats records.

Didn’t watch the match but I believe Wolves celebrate hard after breaking this wall. Haha

That's not decent if you can carry your team in your shoulder like what he did when he was with Mavs, that is superstar talent to be able to do that. The thing with the Lakers is now their bench is really helping them in crunch time, Rui, Smart and even Ayton has done or help them win their run right now. And it could really mean that they are hitting the prime or their chemistry specially that Kennard three, you can see the everyone from the bench is very happy and celebrating it with Luke. That kind of shot is very rare and it could motivate the team to close the regular season strong.

Doncic took over once more, 9 games and all of them 30+ points, with some of them reaching record numbers. This shows that when Doncic simply takes over and plays like a superstar, he is going to get Lakers the wins. At Dallas sometimes he did that, he even lost a finals that way, but the reality is that he didn't had the help that he has here, not at Dallas.

Here, he has reaves and more importantly Lebron, they have a decent big too but not that much helpful, they had that at Dallas too. So if he keeps this up, I am sure that him and Lebron could make the team go all the way to the finals.

Doncic as we know him, he can provide decent numbers and can really lift the team to win, though like what you have said in Dallas he don't have that much of stars that surrounds him though he was able to bring the team to the finals while here at Lakers he got Reaves and LeBron and the rest of the team, still early to say whether they can reach the finals but as we can see them keep winning their games.

Why its not decent? I guess you just use a wrong word while expressing your opinion towards the performance done by Doncic, but its really amazing to see him doing that. That's why he's been consider as one of generational talent in NBA since there are few people can able to do what he can perform to help his team to win.

That sequence happened on Kennard that shows that they trust each other especially on crucial moments and this is why we see them celebrating on recent victory that they got. This is early signs that Lakers is scary opponent in playoffs.

i doubt there’s any other team in the NBA that can out cheer the home crowd on the road quite like the Lakers do. This makes them probably the biggest franchise in the league.
btw team is dead tired. Luka’s calf was wrapped every timeout in the 4th. imo they should just punt the Detroit game and rest the starters. they already got the wins they needed on the road.

Lakers with 46-25 have got enough wins this season and they have already qualified for play-offs also. May be they are chasing Oklahoma City
Thunder, who have winning streak of 11. Both Thunders and Lakers right now such huge winning streak of 11 and 9 respectively in ongoing season. Lakers won there game but their superstar Luka Dončić committed 16th foul of the season and that means he has to face one game suspension, as per NBA rules.

That's a really interesting piece of info there! Celtics really didn't lose to them until last night since then. Yes, Tatum is back but he isn't still in his best shape yet. He still needs time for full recovery...

Brown tried to carry but I can't say he played very well either. People shouldn't get tricked by 29 points of him. Check out his 7/20 2-PT and 2/6 3-PT stats first and then decide.  Grin  Timberwolves did great without Edwards.

I got the same impression but understanding the sentiment of his reply I guess it was a wrong use of the word, as we all notice he's exemptional talent bringing his team to the finals, though he got Brunson together with all the role players who bring the help that Luka needs, for now, as long as LeBron let him and Reaves to take over and bring that support as a good decoy to earn the defense and give his teammates good space to take better shots.

There’s some news that the NBA has rescinded the 16th technical foul against Luka that you mentioned. This means he’ll be able to play in the upcoming game against the Pistons, which is important for the Lakers. Personally, I’m curious to see how the Lakers’ Big Three will perform against a strong opponent like the Pistons. I think it will be a close game, but I'm not sure the Lakers will be able to extend their winning streak.

Although the Pistons are still a strong team, I wouldn’t really trust them without their best player. Cade is out, and as you mentioned, Luka might be able to play, so the Lakers could take this one. This could also be a revenge spot. Last December, the Pistons dominated the Lakers on their home court, 128–106, so they’ll likely try to even things out here. Hopefully it goes that way.

with 11 wins in their last 12, they’ve shown they can deliver when it counts. Even if the roster is still missing a couple of critical pieces, they’re going to fight with what they have. LeBron is satisfied with his rings. his focus now is on leading Luka and the rest to a championship...

Well, the Lakers' hot streak just ended as the Pistons beat them by 3. Another young gun just stepped up for the Pistons just when they needed him most. Dannis Jenkins just hit clutch after clutch and had his career high in points against the Lakers tonight. I guess they are just fine even without Cade Cunningham. The problem would be in the playoffs, they don't have enough experience, and anyone in the East is capable of beating them in a 7-game series.
Good win for the Pistons anyway. The Lakers weren't able to execute a good play to send the game to overtime. The Piston team learned something about what happened to the Orlando Magic, lol.

There's no such thing as a Lakers team on a 9-game winning streak, there's only a team that hasn't faced the Pistons yet. Bookmakers probably made the Lakers favorites because Cunningham was out, but the Pistons once again showed they can beat any team in this league. Cunningham didn't play, but Daniss Jenkins dropped 30 points for a career high and brought the win by his clutch shots and free throws.

The Pistons are known for their defense, but their offensive performance in this game was also excellent. They shot 11/26 from three. They didn't allow LeBron to score at all in the first half. The Lakers might not even make the Finals, but if they somehow do, the Pistons would run right over them.
