Alperen Şengün's performance wasn't enough for the win. He scored 30 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and made 4 blocks. His block that sent the game into overtime was arguably his most important contribution.
In overtime, Houston took a nearly double-digit lead, but failed to score for two minutes.
Ultimately, they lost this crucial game to Minnesota 110-108.
I think Houston absolutely must get rid of Udoka at the end of the season. I don't like the decisions he makes in critical moments.
I think it's more and more apparent you don't watch the game you are posting about here. "Nearly a double digit lead", dude they started overtime 13:0 and then got outscored 15:0 in the last under 3 minutes of OT. That was the biggest overtime comeback ever. The Houston Rockets were up by 13 in overtime and somehow managed to lose. 108-95 and then losing 108-110. I don’t know how they couldn’t manage to at least run down the clock for the win. I might have to watch that overtime later.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BryGyjsKXik parts of it. First time a team with a 10+ point lead in overtime has ever lost. I think they’re 110-1 now (I saw the stat earlier). Kevin Durant had a chance to tie it at the end and missed his free throw, then they couldn’t convert the on purpose miss… The Rockets look like they hate each other out there.

With 2 minutes and 50 seconds left in overtime, Houston was leading by 13 points (108-95).
After that point, Houston couldn't score any more points, and Minnesota went on a 15-0 run to win the game 110-108. I was absolutely astonished. I'm truly shocked. Anyone who bet on Minnesota with that score might have won a lot of money.

Both teams messed up in defense during overtime. But of course Rockets' not being able to take advantage of a 13-0 series deserves more criticism on it. Even without Edwards, Timberwolves can win. But his presence is very important of course. He is expected to recover soon. Rockets are down to the 6th position in their conference with this loss. I don't think we will watch them do well in playoffs honestly.

And again, the body language of Sengun and Durant is very evident. Even if Sengun has that block in the regular time so that the game go into OT. With bloody lips, but it was enough, the Wolves is back against the wall and so they did what they need to do. Beat the Rockets and with that, even if Houston goes into the playoffs, I don't think they can get pass the first round with their inconsistencies.

Who’s your division champion? Spurs on West and Piston on East for me. Bold prediction mate, specially in the West against the defending champion OKC. Although it we look at the records, Spurs has won like 3-1 if I'm not mistaken (didn't check the record so I apologized if I'm wrong). But OKC as defending champs have the DNA already and experience and Williams is back and they are complete although they've lost against the Celtics. And speaking of the Celtics, I might go with them on the East. Again, I'm relying on the experience, Pistons doesn't have that pedigree while Boston has Tatum back in the line-up. That's why they could be the one who's going to take the East.

Agreed, They always choke a lot on crucial minutes of the game especially if they are leading early then blow it up on the last quarter. They keep messing with their crucial free throws even KD now while he should be the clutch player for the Rockets. I remember watching the same scenario that Sengun and Thompson missed both crucial free throws that will seal their win on the game. Clearly they lacking the ability to close the game on crucial minutes.

That's why they experience such troubles and that affect a lot on their team. They need to find good solution with that problems, since if they cannot adjust maybe same situation will happen to them and that is dangerous for their team especially in playoffs. This issue always happened to them and they need to fix their chemistry so bad, since this is where they start to messed up then result came bad after the game ends.

He’s totally right. Wemby will likely have the best defensive stats in NBA history by the time he retires. However, i’m curious if his offense can ever reach that same level. Also, considering how comfortable he looks on the court, i feel like his minutes are too low.
It depends on what criteria you use to evaluate defensive stats. If Wemby can stay healthy and keep playing at his current pace, say, for 20 NBA seasons without any serious injuries, then yes, he could come close to Olajuwon’s career blocks record. However, if you look at his average rebounds per game, nothing is outstanding there, which is actually surprising given his size. Yeah sure depends. we will see at the end of his career. but seeing this man live is something else. His defensive stance is so imposing that you question the sanity of any player brave enough to enter the paint. He single handedly swallows up the two point area and still has the reach to disrupt shots at the perimeter.

My prediction is biased since Spurs is my favorite team ever since while both Piston and SA are full of promising young talent just like OKC and Pacers last year during finals that gives a very good match up. I’m putting my money on this young team with a very good team work over championship experience. I solely rely on their skills. I hope they will not choke. Haha.

Clearly they lacking the ability to close the game on crucial minutes.
That will be a problem during the playoffs, especially if they face a strong team. It’ll likely be close games, and every FT counts, so if they can’t improve that, it’s going to cost them a lot Although I’m still quite confident with Durant since he’s a playoff master. He usually performs even better in the playoffs, but one concern is really his age. His numbers still show up in the stats, but if you actually watch him play, you can see things have already changed a bit

For me, in the West, it’s the Spurs. But in the East, I’ll go with the Celtics. I don’t know, I just feel like the Spurs are the better team right now. If I compare OKC this year to last season, I think they were better last year. Also, the Spurs have improved a lot this season. As long as Wemby stays healthy, they’ve got this. Wemby is better than Chet, and if J-Dub isn’t 100%, they’ll have trouble against the Spurs. I also feel like Wemby will be even better in the playoffs.

Because without him healthy, if ever they reach the WCF and face OKC, OKC’s bigs will have a really hard time defending him And with the Spurs having a lot of good shooters, their offense becomes very unpredictable. Have you noticed, Wemby isn’t forcing things. His production isn’t that high, but overall he makes the team better. Looks like they’ve already figured out a system that works Honestly, they’re worth betting on. You could even consider them as a dark horse to win the NBA Finals.

"Nearly a double digit lead", dude they started overtime 13:0 and then got outscored 15:0 in the last under 3 minutes of OT. it's unbelievable that what happened in OT really. Udoka seems helpless, doing nothing but swearing from the sidelines. This young core deserves better. Tensions were already high and now the pot is about to boil over...

Sharing the NBA Playoffs overview based on current standings. There’s still changes depending on the outcome of the remaining match until April 18. Who’s your division champion? Spurs on West and Piston on East for me. Denver in the West and Cavs in the East I think I like Boston in the east and the Spurs in the West. I’d like to see it be the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers for entertainment purposes and I think Wemby in the playoffs is a big question mark. Anything can happen.
Alperen Şengün's last-second block might be the best block of the season; I'm sure we'll see it in the highlights. It will probably be chosen as the play of the week. However, Şengün alone isn't enough for this team. After the Durant crisis, the team lost its old spirit, and they're not playing as well as they used to. Unfortunately, they're not as competitive as they were at the beginning of the season. Something is missing in the team, and it seems difficult to fill that void. It's really sad that they can't win games where they play so well

You think Spurs would beat Thunder once again in a probable series in playoffs? I respect that because Spurs have really made a huge progress this season. When Wembanyama is healthy for the most part of a season things are changing a lot for them. Even in times he was injured they still did pretty good. Because they get more contribution from other members as well starting with Stephon Castle. But SGA is really incredible so it is hard to decide...

I thought the Rockets would win last night, but they played very inconsistently in the first half. I slept without watching the second half, they had taken the lead, but blew it by a big margin in overtime. These kinds of rookie mistakes, not being able to close out games, are what hurt them. It keeps us from seeing them as a truly serious team. Finishing the game without scoring in the last 3 minutes is just inexcusable. Still, things like this can happen in the regular season. We'll have to see what they do in the play-offs. The play-offs won't forgive these mistakes.

I'm just watching a video regarding the fall of Cam Thomas, and TBH, it's kind of understandable if you're the front office why you don't want to get a player like him. I mean the dude's averaging 24 PPG at one point back when he's in Brooklyn. He even broke the record of Allen Iverson as the youngest player to score 40 or more points in 3 straight games. Something that only an all-star could ever do. It happened days ago, but he got waived by the Bucks already. The ONLY team that wanted him after he got waived by the Nets also waived him. Lack of playmaking ability, lack of defense, and lack of... he's got the lacks that a front office don't want from him. I want to say that he's the next Ben Simmons just because he got kicked out of the league at such a young age, but both of them have different situations. I wonder why he got kicked out of the league though at such a young age. I know some here knows some answers as to why.
