Not that long ago I have seen a news article about people making more and more use of deep web markets for drug related purchases, instead of contacting their local dealer as they used to do.

And that is one of the reasons dealers are also shifting to deep web markets to offer their products to the wide public.

Not only do they avoid direct contact with people that they are selling to, but they also greatly expand their reach to basically a world wide level, where they usually were only operating locally.

The reason you havent seen that is that people who are going to open such a marketplace are willing to stay anonymous.

They open that on the deepweb to stay anonymous,so why should they reveal themself over the internet.

zcash  would probably somehow  used  on  darkmarket if  those  vendors would see the potential aspects of  zcash but as  of now zcash have  just been  launch earlier and its price  is  somehow  insane because it reached  up almost  33 btc on each  coin and  now  it dropped  till 2  btc which really indicates that  its somehow a scam coin for me.

I think Zcash may be adopted by the darknet communities very quickly.
The way it can protect all users with zkSNARK is very interesting and something I need to look into more before I can even start to understand it fully.

As far as I know Bitcoin started evolving after the huge success of Silk Road (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silk_Road_(marketplace)).
Be extremely careful if you set a black market. The first clients can be secret service agents. They can come with hundreds of BTC and become your friends. Few month later you can be in a prison  .

I think Zcash may be adopted by the darknet communities very quickly.

The only issue is its price, making it pretty difficult to withdraw out of any exchanges, especially considering that it takes at least 0.01 or 0.001ZEC to withdraw from Poloniex, which is a few hundred dollars iirc. Unless the price falls to way below where it is now, it'll be pretty difficult for any marketplace to adopt. The Zcash team had a good idea, but in the end it really just didn't work out.

Surely it is, base on reading their description and road map. Zcash would be good enough for the dark market people. Because they are going to benefit from it. Honestly its hard to trust someone in dark marketplaces because we dont know where they are living and if we use bitcoin we can not know the transactions.. where they are living.. so better to stay away from them..

Yep, don’t download anything out of those places since it could be a virus, key logger etc. Even if it seems easy to do and harmless don do it, if you are going to go to those places then do it in a computer that does not have any kind of personal information about you.

Monero is taking advantage of anonymity and fast and easy transactions, and the low value it had were just another advantage, some altcoins get more interest and support on the last days, the traders did like those interest into crypto world soo they can bump and pump the altcoin easy. To be at dark marketplaces you need some skill and high security measures to avoid get exposed or be found.

People in the dark marketplaces are untrusted so its quite funny when you said that you don't feel safe now anywhere as the new markets started to conquer the old one.

Dark net market places were not safe now as well before as quoted above, because trusting someone here is really hard. We can never track them even when someone scammed us. Dark market places were with the same security and other features now and then. Silk road is one among the biggest issue that revealed lot information regarding dark market places.
