No I do not spend them right now because of the halving that is coming this month, I think its not good at all to spend.
I normally spend my bitcoins on digital goods these days and its very nice.
I think it was not a problem for bitcoin spending despite halving coming? bitcoin spending by a small amount will not give you a loss. so spending not a problem

The real purpose of BTC is not really for investment, people who invest nowadays believes the future of bitcoins to be a recognize currency and when that time comes demands will be high that would affect the price which would benefit the early investors.

Bitcoin is already a recognized currency,i would even say that is kind of popular.
Then what is the real purpose of btc, what do you think? You did not say anything about it

The real purpose of BTC is simply to be use as in international currency that would let them transact online conveniently benefiting from fast transactions and low cost fund transfer.

Purpose of it is to help people avoid other from taking advantage of their hard-earned money which is why bitcoin's anonymity is considered safe for people who's not comfortable being watched.

That is the beauty but when the government will regulate this they will make sure they know the wallet owners in compliance with the AMLA and to charge users with proper taxes.

the lack of consumer interest hasn’t stopped investors from sniffing around bitcoin. In fact, 80 percent of  users are buying, selling and holding bitcoins as investments, while only 20 percent are using them for day-to-day spending.

If we want to take price of bitcoin higher then we need to spend it regularly, only holding will not serve the purpose in long run, people should treat bitcoin as a currency and not as an investment.

Right now i'm actually trying to earn 5BTC before i can actually use it. I planning to use this money to set up my game development and upgrade the software development tools that i'm using to make my games. I'm really glad steam has provide a Greenlight pass for indie game developers such as myself to place our games in the steam database.

i continuously use my btc paying my expenses like electric and phone bills, the earning i'm getting from my campaign and some some my trading automatically been paid my bills.

Spending bitcoin is a real fun to me, as I spend it on skype recharge and mobile top up, and if I am in need of money then I sell my coins and convert  it to my local currency.

I would say that you should limit your active spending today as the halving is going to take effect after tomorrow.
For sure there is going to have changes once it happen.
And after getting some profits out of the price increase then you can go back in active spending.

Yeah its better to continue with active spending once the halving is done, there is no indication that price will go higher at halving, but now we are so near to it so can afford to wait for next few hours.

It is really recommended to stop spending actively today. But it is going to depend on how do you need bitcoin really.
But my suggestion if there is no need to use bitcoin actively then you just need to save it for halving.
