nah, im spend 60% from my btc to trading alt coins in longterm, and hold the rest because i think the value of bitcoin will be going up again soon.
Nice decision dude, at least you do not mention about gambling. By just keeping it, that is already a sign that you believe in bitcoins, and because of that when the price will skyrocket in the future the amount that we save can already be considered as our retirement.

The more the days past by the more the price increase, just today the price gone high again and it is continue going to the up position. This is a good chance for use to earn profit with our investment in the future and spending would not be advisable for now, better hold and see and don't let your self get tempted.

Without those people that spends it then there wont be a movement. Dont advertise to not use it. It should circulate again and again not just stuck in one place like your wallet.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

well yes, and since i love games, and now when steam accepts bitcoins, i actually spend them even more often now than before, sometimes i spend more than 100$ in month for steam only

and of course with sites like purse.io or openbazaar, well i like to spend my bitcoins there too, if we wouldn't spend any bitcoins at all it wouldn't be good for bitcoin

That is true, because of the spenders bitcoins community grow, it is not really the investors and traders who made and help the bitcoins grow. If we continue to support by using bitcoins in our regular online transactions that is already a big help for the community and I myself I have already contributed mine as I am a gambler who regularly play with bitcoins.

I used to spend bitcoin quite a lot and the fee is very low. But the traffic is quite congested, I will have to spend higher fees.

Yeah but at a moment I think spending is not the right thing to do, just hold it till the halving and spend when bitcoin price crosses $1k mark.

We all wish to spend our coins on daily basis, but the fact is we are not able to do that as bitcoin has not reached to each and every corner of the world yet.

At a moment no one can afford to spend their coins as everyone is expecting to make huge profits from halving so everyone will prefer to hold by keeping their coins intact in their wallets.

Yeah need to be careful mate, as we don't know whether price will increase or decrease at the time of halving so we need to play smart and grab each and every opportunity to earn profits.

Yeah me either, I stopped spending actively, because we have all one goals, is to get profit from halving, and because more people are stopping
to spend their bitcoins, it is one now of the things that make the bitcoins price increase.
Low supply of bitcoin now is happening, so the demand is high and make the price increase.

I actively spend my bitcoins on investments of any kind like mining, hyip gambling but most of it converted to cash to provide my family needs. Bitcoin for me is a secondary source of funds. I want to save my funds but i want to spend it to earn more bitcoins thats business.

I really love bitcoins so much and I am an active spender in my online needs. Because of bitcoins the gambling hassle was eliminated and we can gamble anytime and withdraw and deposits very fast.

Yeah, the price is increasing now, amd we need a strategy when to spend bitcoin and when to hold. of course we should think about the risks and other issues.

Well you gotta be put some limitations in active spending of your bitcoins with gambling, yes it is very convenient but the thing is it might run out your bitcoins because of being an active spender to it. No problem if you are going to spend it on other things that you need.
But for gambling, I say put some limitations.

I really love bitcoins so much and I am an active spender in my online needs. Because of bitcoins the gambling hassle was eliminated and we can gamble anytime and withdraw and deposits very fast.

Well you gotta be put some limitations in active spending of your bitcoins with gambling, yes it is very convenient but the thing is it might run out your bitcoins because of being an active spender to it. No problem if you are going to spend it on other things that you need.
But for gambling, I say put some limitations.
Totally gambling is not a good way to spend your money because it would only let you do things that will cause you trouble in the future if you cannot control yourself. Maybe buy and sell business online would be good but if you want a a more simple way. Investment is the best way to do it.

I have not been spending my bitcoins the past few days, in anticipation of another surge coming. One can't be blamed for just holding, because the way the price moves, it is the wisest thing to do at the moment. With the increasing demand from the Chinese market, we might see the price go up further and that is another reason for me to just hold and buy when I have the budget to do so.
