Looking at price drop today it is doubtful now even by the end of the year.
It just keeps falling all day long. Almost at $300 now, so how can you say today or even imagine it will be at $500 now? Not possible as of now.
But we all  know it can change in a whim. Thats the way of the bitcoin mantra.

yeah as at the day before we would had dropped to $300 and then back to $320 and I think we will stable at a price of $300-320 for the moment.

It seems price has stabilized now on a sustainable level ($300-350). That may be a starting point to go back up to 500 and even higher. It seems logical that $450-500 was only a temporary high, the rally was "way" too fast.

The great question is if this drop has generated enough fear in the community to prevent traders from buying in a new possible upswing. If yes, then we will stay here under 400 for a while. If not, then even a larger movement, at least to 600, is possible, because that would allow the "greed effect" determine the direction again.

If some remember, the situation is now similar to March 2013 when $50 were crossed for the first time, a notable rally started to $75 and then heavy profit-taking took the price back to $50. We know how the outcome was ... it can be similar or different now.

Now it doesn't hurt me when I sell my bitcoins for a lower rate. $300, $400, $500 don't matter as I want the price to increase to $1000 and remain stable at that price. Currently it is just decreasing and it may reach $220 soon like it was earlier this year.

No you have to read the BTC value nearly two days the value of BTC is increasing I am sure it will not getting lower and all It will go to nice value soon Might after this Christmas and new year because this is the peak time U.S. So $ value increase after same BTC only will move up. It did go down really quickly. I can't see it recovering anytime soon. Maybe as the above member says it could start recovering by the time Christmas comes around. We'll all to wait and see I guess.

This is exactly what I am doing at the moment too. Holding is your best option in this highly violate environment until we see it change it's path into a positive direction.

This is what I think most of the small time bitcoiners are saying : Been there done that. Just as a badge of honor if you will

I think now we will see price above 500 USD again next month at Xmas.I agree that this is new range for price and for a period we will see between 320-340 USD.I don't see price going further down than this current level.

Don't say never in the world of bitcoin. It could jump up too $500 in matter of hours if their is any major advancement in technology of mining or the blockchain. Usually this works when the news media outlets gets a hold of it and it is disturbed out to the public, then that is when the trading starts happening fast and furious.
So don't be surprised at anything in this beast of BTC.

It could be possible but it is holding quite steady for the last 24 hours at around $336-340 and has not budged from this price point. Very difficult to predict what it will do from now till the next 24-48 hours. You can only keep positive in it's rise and fear in it's big fall sometimes.
