Don't visit gambling sites, and stay away from the gambling section. Get a life, get a hobby to distract you, e.t.c

The problem is when someone's hobby is still in computer, that way, you'll be tempt to revisit the sites where you have fun before..  Cheesy a hobby that has no computer involve could really help..  Smiley
it's very difficult to stay away from gambling currently because ease of access to the Internet and everybody have a computer in their room i think it's quite impossible to ignore or do not touch your computer and access the gambling site

yah it is something they knew and they have been doing it for so long. it is very hard to resist it. just like me for my games. i tends to go back to play my old mmorpg becuz i have played there for so long and i knew everything about it so eventually i quit from it, i still cant move on easily to the next mmorpg or new games cuz there is either too many new things to do or learn, and the old is just more comfortable cuz u so used to it. and asking me not to play games is very hard cuz that is how i am for so long.

precisely,,  Smiley
so best thing to do is to really divert, if we can't find a hobby that don't need a computer, we need to visit website that still gives us earning without gambling involved.  Smiley

Indeed. I once tried to block some website on my own but eventually I unblock them myself a few days later.
The moral of the story is, ask someone to block the website you don't want to visit anymore in the future. Because you know how to unblock it if you do it yourself.
The moral of the story is not to ask someone else to block a casino's website for you. It is flawed logic if you think that could help.
You have to *want* to stop gambling yourself. If someone else block it, you will try to find another way, play on another machine, on smartphone or during work etc.

I partially agree on this statement because I know every one have a access to computer and internet but still if person decide they can control on gambling habits. Just don't keep your bitcoins in online wallets to access easily or just use your pc for your necessary things and spend most of the time outside with family and friends.

That is true, but at least you try. If that does not work for you, there is shit ton of method for you to use.

I'm pretty sure most people who gamble aren't addicts and even addicts aren't that crazy, only a few people get to that really super addicted point where they could even sell their house to gamble but those are special cases and if someone is willing to sell his house to gamble then he is an idiot, not just an addict.

Exactly, I have seen many people doing that, and I really feel pity on them, I mean how can one so be addicted to gambling that he can sell everything that is basic necessities of life, the only way to stay away from gambling is not to gamble.

You just have to stop, you will lose everything if you stay gambling that's the downside of gambling. Gambling can me really addicted and its of course possible to gamble sometimes but do not gamble with high amounts and don't gamble more than an hour/day.

You simply distracting. If you have a family for example, then you going to do with their out of nice things.
Do not have a family then you go with your friends some fun. Find a hobby that distracts you.

for me the best way to stay away from gambling was running out of funds to gamble with. when you hit rock bottom, there is nowhere else left to go lower so you automatically will stop.

i remember reading some stories about super heavy gambling addicts back in the 80's when las Vegas was crazy about casinos, some of those super addicts would sell their house going all-in to a single spin/roll and if they didn't win they would shot themselves in the head with a revolver. That's what a I call having a problem lol.

You simply distraction. You have to set yourself limits. Think carefully before you do anything.
You should not go silly to spend money. You must have a limit.

Yes, setting up daily/monthly limits for gambling spending would safe guard from unexpected losses and keeping on reducing this bankroll will result in complete stay away from gambling.

You need to focus yourself on something else.
You need to know when you stop because otherwise it will go wrong.
Delete your gambling account on gambling websites.

It can also be like people end up depositing more than the amount lost in that slow go,just to recover.

You need to know when you stop because otherwise it will go wrong.
and when is that ? how would you define a stop ?

Delete your gambling account on gambling websites.
I don't think there is a option to delete your gambling account on gambling websites once you create them.

It is best to look for distractions. If you do have a family go to their nice things and spend their money.

Or you can go out with your friends.

Find a hobby that you might otherwise like, or go gaming that could namely also. There are plenty of options.

Spending your families money is not a good idea but looking for some distractions is a good idea to stop gambling.
