Gambling is addicting to people because people are greedy and they think that they is a method to earn some money in a fast time but that is actually not true because you lose a lot of money with it.
And you are not realizing that and you need to be lucky if you want to earn some profit with gambling so it wont be that easy.

The fact that a person has gotten really addicted to gambling is true but the thing that have got them from getting addicted has many reason behind it, and it has many possibilities that we can not say what it is and gambling is really risky that you may lose from it every or gain from it is base on luck alone!

For me it's definitely the opportunity to gain without any effort. It's so addicting simply because of that. You would rather spend your time gambling, than to work 8 hours a day, am I right?

Also the chat is just so addicting to go on. So many people giving out tips and chatting about gambling - your common topic.

sure a ordinary life with working 8 hours a day or even more, yes we are slaves, is boring and depressing, many people try to escape that souless life with shortcuts like gamble.
Because of the stress people get for working 8 hrs a day + over time daily. Is really a stressful life, so people tend to find ways to remove
their stress, some other people finds to drink alcoholic beverages and the most common is removing it by gambling.

that is really bad. unfortunately so many people have fell down that path and sink, so it must be prevented, gambling and all those alcoholic, drugs, prostitute,...

Stress can really feel frustrating and some people become sick because of this and I think the best way isn't by alcohol, drugs, or gambling at all stress can be fight by relaxing get a vacation a long one and if the problem is on the office environment then quit your office and find a new job.

I agree with you, how is that that your remove stress from your daily job which you sometimes works over normal hours when gambling? That only raises the stress, imagine if you came out of work very stressed one day, you decide to tend your nerves by playing a gambling game, you lose it all, then there is the risk you end up in some psychiatric  hospital, and the risk is quite high. I know cases in which gambling has destroyed everything, just quit your job and find a new one if you live in a developed country, different story if you are in some not developed country so you can not find another job that easily.

Gambling gives you high enjoyment and nerves when you are betting the highest bet compared to your old bets,  but after the enjoyment and when you loss prepare for thier anger.

After losing a big chunk of money, that's when you start to do bets that you can't even afford to lose or even go all in. You want to recover your loss in a single bet. You'll love the thrill. Then if you lose that round, you'll end up having more losses to recover. You'll try to recover your losses but you'll end up having more losses. Until you realize nothing's left in your bank account so you start to sell your stuffs. If this happens to you, then you are now addicted to gambling.
Gambling addicts are addicted more to the thrill than the money. You can try to deny this all you want, but once you've been hooked, you'll continue on no matter your bankroll unless an external force acts on you [oh, first law of motion!]

Let's suppose that you suddenly received a million dollars and you're a gambler. Let's suppose that your goal was to reach a million dollars through gambling. Okay, you're there. But why does it feel unfulfilling? You want more. Greed drives you senselessly, or so you think. The real allure to gambling is the thrill. Without any loss, there is no more intensity.

Essentially, you're addicted to... losing.

LOL, exactly mate, you hit it, we are addicted to gambling because we are always losing and while we are on that position we always come back to bet more to take back our losses and to be on the profit side. Anyway, gambling is really fun so no matter how much we lose as you as we can afford it they it would fine.

Well gambling is very addicting because you can win money its as simple as that so that is the point of gambling, you can win money fast but its also a big risk you are taking. Another reason why people get addicted is because they love the adrenaline
but I think why people addicted to gambling is that they have a keen sense of revenge for their loss.

A drink or two will surely remove stress. But gambling will just add more stress when you lose money. I do not think gambling is a good stress reliever. It just adds more pressure when you want to win back any money loss due to.excessive gambling. It is better to do sports to relieve you from your stress.

ROTFL:  I recognize this personality characteristic....I dream of catching this type of person in a closed game. They're the type of player who keeps coming back, time and time again, who's actually a good player, but who refuses to leave until he has lost his entire stack....Love 'em!

I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
Because, if you play gambling you can feel curious to win and gain profit from it's. so after it on yourself will arise your desire to try,try and try again so it's can make you become an addicting person in gambling, always curious to try again you gain an something become your goal. Well,I think the taste of gambling it's same with drugs but a goal in gambling to make a profit. Grin

That is true people get over excited when they win for the first time and then they think that can make it  bigger and loose everything at the end of the day.

Gambling can be addicting because you can win and lose money so quickly. If you win big quickly it can be exciting and you want to take a chance on doing it again.  Same for losing but you want to take a chance on getting it all back quickly.

Exactly, that is why we keep doing it, if gambling would only give you winning then people will not be excited in doing it, as human we want to be challenge as we want to experience both the feeling of losing and winning. What's matters most to be a profitable gambler is we need to have more wins than our losses. If you cannot be profitable in gambling focus other venture and just do gambling for fun.

yup, to be honest, a lot of regular gamblers already knew they are going to loss but they still keep going because it is part of their lifestyle already. It is their source of entertainment cause they like the thrill and excitement from gambling.

Me too, I always gamble because I cannot take it out in my life, its already part of me and without it I cannot find a good hobby that would give me a real pleasure time while doing it. But mind you, I am a responsible gambler so I am not prone to addiction.

Gambling is addicted because of the enjoying parts it has, its just that if you play you cannot stop because its just so addicted.
If I play I play easily several hours due to this.

I totally agree, i have a lot of friends who like to gamble a lot. But to me, they are living very well. They dont earn a lot too and they still can gamble every day. It is more about how you spend your money and how you play your game.

I also think that greediness and the fact that its enjoyable for hours can make you addicted to it.
Other than that I can honestly not find any other reason.

there are also people play gambling because of the thrill feeling it provides. put themselves in risk, it's exciting, release their adrenalin for them to get high.
