Why is gambling so addicting?

I also think that enjoying is playing a factor but I also think its that people want to win their amounts back that they have lost.

I love excitement. I want the hype of getting in that corner with almost nothing and yet goes back to being a winner again. That is one of the gambling problems. You think you can always get it back.

That's the point. If you have self control and limits in terms of gambling, you will not be addicted. You will just play moderately and know when to stop or continue playing. Well if you are greedy, win or lose you will still continue playing, not even considering how much you lose or how much can you lose after winning and playing again. IMO There's nothing wrong about having fun, just know your limits and not go beyond that

Well gamblers tend to find it very enjoying every time they gamble. But in the long run they tend to lose their money, but still for the sake of entertainment even they are losing their money, still they are hoping to win and enjoy at the same time.

When the addicted gambler is rushing towards his fun and entertainment from gambling, he is the ruining his own life. That will not affect his single life, it will spread out as a social issue by affecting his family. Stress can really feel frustrating and some people become sick because of this and I think the best way isn't by alcohol, drugs, or gambling at all stress can be fight by relaxing get a vacation a long one and if the problem is on the office environment then quit your office and find a new job.

I agree with you, how is that that your remove stress from your daily job which you sometimes works over normal hours when gambling? That only raises the stress, imagine if you came out of work very stressed one day, you decide to tend your nerves by playing a gambling game, you lose it all, then there is the risk you end up in some psychiatric  hospital, and the risk is quite high. I know cases in which gambling has destroyed everything, just quit your job and find a new one if you live in a developed country, different story if you are in some not developed country so you can not find another job that easily.

yup, to be honest, a lot of regular gamblers already knew they are going to loss but they still keep going because it is part of their lifestyle already. It is their source of entertainment cause they like the thrill and excitement from gambling.

Yeah but gambling unlike most addictions is that you have to experience the lose in order to understand why it can become an addiction. Like how most people don't understand alcoholics or drugs addicts, its because they haven't experienced it.
