Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is exactly the Tipster Competition ? I can't find an explicative post that would explain what it is. I thought about a competition that showcase the best betters or a kind of investment. Can someone explain me ?

Hello Erkallys, that it not a dumb question at all.
The Tipster Competition was an initiative started by me a few months ago. I saw so many tipsters threads that I thought why not create a competition to see who is the "best" tipster in the forum.

Of course to be a good initiative we needed a sponsor so I talked to DirecBet that were kind enough to support the initiative and be our official sponsor, creating the leaderboard and providing the prizes etc

We are now in the fourth edition (it runs on a monthly basis).

It is interesting that only after 1 hour of adding to competition, this entry is already at +50.5% profit.

Does that mean that anyone could enter after 14 days at 31st December and all bets made from 2 weeks behind will count ?

Well, each case is manually analyzed to ensure there is no abuse of the system, so not all bets may count, in that situation.

Too easy to abuse if you accept previous bets. Just do bets with several addresses, then select the ones with highest returns and use them to register

Exactly that happened twice already and those two added accounts will probably take 1st and 2nd place, because they were registered with +100% and +50% profit advantage from the start !

Maybe someone will register next account with 200% ROI/profit start advantage ?

Hello GrandeMar, as I already said we are analyzing each registration manually, and we have no reasons to believe that there was any kind of attempt to abuse or exploit the rules.

Acckill made most of his profit after signing up, and Sanerin used addresses that were already associated with him, so he was not creating new addresses and only try to register the winning ones.

Again we will examine every situation, and disqualify anyone that tries to abuse the rules.

To add to DirectBet's answer, neither "Direct Dice" nor "All-In Poker" bets count in this competition - sorry, but it's just not the type of events that would make sense to include in a tipster/punter competition.

Well, the process to remove those bets isn't automatic, so they are initially counted - until such time that someone goes over them and manually removes them.

Participants can do so; but, as I mentioned in the above post to Omikifuse, "Direct Dice" / "All-In Poker" bets will eventually be (manually) removed, and the participants' ROI will be adjusted accordingly.

You will also get the participation prize. We decided to offer a participation prize this time, and not a consolation prize, so everyone gets that prize as long as they make the minimum bet requirement.

Also please remember that you will only get one participation prize even if you use the multi entry feature, but you can add up 3 Top7 prizes, if you place on Top7 with 3 accounts.

Oh, now I understand the reason this competition is run for 1 month or more previously I wondered.
I was also less active a few weeks, I will return to play after getting the payment of a signature campaign
