I never used paypal in my life. Simply I didn't need service like that. Few things I bought on internet my girlfriend payed with her cards. I have one card in the bank just for salary ( there is no other way) and thats it. I hate banks and all that papers, informations.. going in offices.
But now here we have bitcoin, things got much easier. So I don't think I will use paypal ever, I hope btc will spread even more so I can totally relax about money.

I also never use paypal. but I have as much money account and $ 2 in it. My paypal account is not verified, it was very confusing, and quite cumbersome to verify it. so I stopped to study paypal and start searching for and using bitcoin. Well, the point is easier to use bitcoin than paypal

I prefer bitcoin everytime still... Every 3 payments I make with paypal they deny one because I'm dropping it too close to 0... They are the greatest thiefs of them all, it's my money, I can do what I want with it no?

Dude on my own experience - paypal now is the best online payment system and also it's safe. I can't understand how i can make any problem using paypal.
only problem of paypal is its not safe as bitcoin safe. paypal's balance is reversible that mean you can easily be scammed with paypal, some one will pay you, and tell you that he paid you. you check your paypal and found that you really got payment. but after a while you reopne your paypal and will be shocked as see there is no money.. lolz.

Yes this method is used by poeple who just want to scam others and this is what i dont also like about paypal with bitcoin once you see that it has been confirmed the money is yours.

Bitcoin, Paypal is notorious for freezing funds
Not notorious, but they do occasionally freeze accounts if something seems suspicious.

I personally haven't had any issues with them, so it could just come down to bad luck or getting too much attention from them.

Yep, each of them really has different pros and cons. One is actually different to the other in terms of a lot of things. Safest i have to say is to just use them both.

Exactly said. Both are different in their own terms of accessibility. Both are really safe and I believe paypal has reached more users than bitcoin as it is promoted through media ads compared to our bitcoin.

it is not an answer. if you use them you will not get priority which is the best payment. choose between PayPal and bitcoin is difficult. but if you are a person who frequently use both then you will be able to choose one among the brands (bitcoin or paypal).

I am using both, and I really feel that still Paypal is the best for online shopping, as almost all websites accepts Paypal. where as when it comes to online transfers I think bitcoin is the best.

I alos use them both because a lot of stores are also not accepting the bitcoin to pay with so I use paypal for it.
Using them both is pretty sweet, the downside of paypal it can get limited but with the bitcoin the point is that your money can not get reversed.

PayPal took a long time for widespread adoption. Now, it's pretty much the only payment processor for these small businesses to use. I wouldn't say they are doing super well though but still many fakes and scams we can see in paypal. Otherwise they wouldn't have needed to split from eBay. Bitcoin could be on that level in another decade. Those same inconveniences seen in PayPal are solved by bitcoin soon...

Yeah your right but paypal still good because you can reverse payment once you are pay for a wrong product or service unlike bitcoin that you dont have a power to reverse the payment.. and also the ppayment processor is fast than bitcoin..

What are your opinions on paypal or bitcoin for online shopping?

Most of the online shops will accept paypal but not Bitcoin. Not yet!I hope this will change in the future.
If I could choose between those two to pay for goods in one shop I always would take Bitcoin of course.
BTC is faster, cheaper and only an delivery address for the goods is needed.

I like both Bitcoin and Paypal and I use them both. When it comes to online shopping Paypal is clearly the better option out of the two. Paypal is just world wide better known.
But hopefully in the future you can use bitcoins at more online web shops.

Paypal is maybe worldwide known but in fact they sometimes limit your account and also are sometimes very slow.
Plus its not exactly true that you can pay with the paypal worldwide because some country's are limited for some accounts(country's).

I also think think this is the case because to be honest the bitcoin has a good future and I think a lot of stores are gonna accept it this year.
If this is gonna happen it would be a lot better than paypal..

It's just a matter of time before we see more merchants jump on board and start accepting Bitcoin as form of payment. But if you want to spend your Bitcoins anywhere in the world, then you can use the Xapo card for example. That allows you to pay everywhere and also cash out money via ATMs.
