(41297 * 0.0063) + 930.96250857 = 1191.13360857 BTC

1191.13360857 BTC * 442 USD/BTC = 526481.05 USD

I dont think any company in the world has ever raised so much money with a single post on a forum.

Spotify, YouTube and twitch began with much less money.

It will be fun!

It will indeed be fun, but it's not true that we've raised more than anyone else. Ethereum etc. raised way, way more than us. Of course Ethereum had 1 year of going to all kinds of conferences, a lot of marketing, meeting with VCs etc. which we didn't have. I say this to bring realism into this, this funding, while impressive, is nowhere near 'too big to fail'. IOTA's success will depend on the community around it being smart and not preoccupied with the price fluctuations. If IOTA evolves into that typical 'price speculation preoccupation', it is guaranteed to fail, no matter what we do on our end.

So for everyone that has partaken in the crowdsale: start thinking about how you can contribute to IOTA's success rather than dreaming about how valuable it can become:)

I also believe that this must be the spirit of the community.

+1. Iota targets a clear industry, IoT and its sensor manufactories and users. It is much easier to create sales plans or business plans for Iota than any other coins.

Let's think about the plans, do the research, compare the notes, and discuss the opportunities. Let's pile a list of companies for everyone to promote iota, email them, meet them in conferences and shows. Let's make iota the first crypto be adopted in real production in a real growing industry.

And if needed to translate marketing ads to as many languages possible, as far as I'm concerned I can help for French and Italian, to and from English

Great project!

Bit off topic but since we are talking about getting involved,

What would the steps be to become a coder/programmer for crypto and block(less)chain technologies.
I know this will take years, it took a while but iota/ bitcoin/ crypto/ blockchaintech has inspired me to get involved.

Learn C first, then C++? Mac or Ubuntu?

Thanks

Lists and numbers and colors and stuff:

JINN/BTC Ratio

List of BTC investors:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/14136909/

Script to get that list
http://paste.ubuntu.com/14137032/
I put like 2 min work into this, not meant to be good coding,
do not criticise

Distribution ( BTC investors only )

ever piece represents one address, size proprtional to amount invested

BTC Investors

# of Investors:          299
average Investment: 3,1135869852

Dont have NXT installed, to lazy to do this for JINN investors.

@joschua011 really good post!

This analysis reveals that there's few whales and no whale who sits on gigantic amounts. Healthy distribution for a kickstart on the economy!

Naturally, but there was no incentive to do so.

Yeah I invested several rounds but all from the same address. Seems pointless to send from many addresses since the tokens will be released so close to sale.

FOR RENT.

Not being seen as a whale, and not being accused of bad distribution is a good enough incentive.

First take the CS50x Course offered by Harvard (https://www.edx.org/course/introduction-computer-science-harvardx-cs50x) - it's probably the greatest introductory course into Computer Science and teaches you about the important concepts that will help you along the way. The language you'll be learning here is C.

After that, it depends on the type of development you want to be involved in. If you just want to develop apps, Javascript will get you a long way. Just look at Ethereum, you can code very potent DApps with Meteor (https://meteor.com) and Solidity (Ethereum's Javascript-like smart contract language). You can become proficient in Javascript within 2 - 3 months easy.

Good luck.

Yes i am sure.

some investors sent multiple transactions from the same address.
I count unique addresses and not transactions.
