Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

If the distribution percentage is not done, how can you calculate correct claim amount?

It will be done after the claiming process ends.

Ah, ok. Now I understand. You don't actually divide the coins at claim, simply verify recipient. How late can I claim my IOTA? Can I wait til after launch?

FOR RENT.

Claiming period will last 90 days. If iotas are claimed earlier then we'll do the launch earlier.

I also noticed that appending 9 at the end of a string generates the same address as the string itself.

isn't that kind of clear, if its considered as a zero/null value? if you prepend it, its not the same, but if you append it is

Ah..I see. I don't quite get any of this. Just posted something I noticed.

I wanted to get a rough Idea of what my share is so i made this:

http://en.file-upload.net/download-11146679/iota_table.ods.html

by no means accurate, dosnt include confirmation amounts and some accounts appear multiple times because the sent multiple times( maybe even in different phases).

It should be accurate enough to give you an idea of general distribution and roughly how big your share is.

Dont take this for real, whatever the IOTA team says is true.

Nice! I just consolidated duplicates and sorted in descending order of iotas owned here: http://pastebin.com/XrUieiJq

Okay. Does developers have any deadline or expected period to deliver on wallet? Are we expecting it before year end, or January, or after the redemption period end (90 days)? within week?

Just not expecting an answer like 'Tuesday'! Cheesy

After the 24th we (Russians) go into a binge for 2 weeks, so January is better (in case if something goes wrong I need to be available).

LOL! Also brings to mind my first reaction on hearing about Iota, ternary processors and quantum security.

What could possibly go wrong?  Wink

Glad I bought my ticket though. Wouldn't have it any other way Smiley

Happy holidays.

EDIT: I should add my confidence in IOTA has grown steadily since first hearing about it. Really really excited about this crypto.

distribution looks too good for me, too symmetric, kind of unrealistic. Lips sealed

Any way to buy some now that the crowdsale is over?

Do newbie account questions get ignored just because of the account rank, or what is it?Smiley

The answer is probably no. after launch, there should be a market somewhere to trade the coins.

By the way, I'm still reindexing bitcoin blockchain to send confirmation amount.

I hope that in a year we all be laughing about that deprecated tech, where you need to download gigabytes, wait for hours an so on.

That will be up to the exchanges that add it. I know of several that are interested.

FYI, when Qora did launch, the first exchange which add it were "new" exchange. In 2 days investors move 5% of all Qora to that exchange (cause it were the first one) and then exchange turned to be scam, people lost money.

So I recommend at first go to "normal" exchanges, at least for 1 week, then to "newbie" ones. Otherwise project will be at risk   Wink

Indeed, the exchanges I am talking with are all reputable, registered companies with legal banks in the western world.

I think that Poloniex and Kraken are the best exchange now for alts.

But i also think that it's too early to be listed,we must first create demand and then go to the offer.

This can happen in 6-8 months if we have a good marketing strategy.
