nice movement on the exchange, volume of course is still not there, but I worry 0 as coin is under active research and development, it is a long term thing, next week I will be adding 4 more master nodes, for the total of 20, selling nothing, believe have velocity and hardware for additional 6 afterwards , and then we move to POS production

thanks and have a great weekend!
What service you are using for setup Masternode?

can't tell due to the security, but I overpay slightly for better hardware, which does translate in master nodes "wins" for sure

ay.. dash will hit 10$ any day now... this is like a second chance for people.. in addition it is good to have alternative flexible coin an agile coin like this one.. dash is way too "tight" not to mention expensive... we will get there..

my bet and re-iterate is zero cash protocol as soon as library is stable to be able to run thru the process here before everyone else..

would take 1 to 3 solid c++ developers with cryptographic experience.. hopefully... you get proper attention from the community

This book does not look promising Tongue

Any plans on working with Dark markets on acceptance?
Also mixing is what the development will be focused on, right? Coz Dash mixing does not work very well.
Are you going to implement the liquidity providers or you have something else brewing?

not so bad.. to me order book looks like this, several large buys for master nodes of 10K has occurred , one carrying 0.00000729 price tag

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-DNET

are you a dash representative lol.. as this would directly compete for the market place and it will

looks like 30 bucks per master node.. as opposed how much for dash ? 8 x 1000 = 8000$ ... now that is a car lol (almost a nice downpayment)

I am not a dash repressentative. Just considering setting up some DNET masternodes.

I noticed the Blockstream Thunder net announcement and will be looking closely at that, as well as whatever zcash is doing and determining the most viable option. for untraceable we may end up cooking something in-house

absolutely great, glad to hear it.. zcash as in current git is buggy , and it is run mostly by academics.. some folks from Technion from Israel some from Berkley.. they are really focusing on closing any crypto loopholes...

it will take some time before is market ready for sure

zcash uses this lib quite heavily.. but yeah as said, its bunch of academics with phd's in CS probably using it as a testing ground for their research work,, which is fine.. job of dnet would be commercialization of their work (although I do see ie Swiss bank as their investor advisor or maybe even shadow sponsor)

master nodes transacting untraceably with tor or no tor.. now that would push this to several millions of MC... cheers

Could I please get some more info on this coin? Is there a whitepaper I can read?

It's not immediately obvious to me what the coin does or how it does it, beyond being anonymity centered. Definitely want to learn more.
Pablo.

It's a DASH clone with PoS after the initial PoW period. There is no whitepaper as there isn't a need for one yet.
It has a very unique feature in the works, Truly Untraceable Transactions, which we'll now more about later on.
It will also have a dynamic mechanism to balance the rate of PoS & masternode payments once it's on PoS.

Thank you.

Pablo.

well. I'll be keeping my tinfoil hat on this full-time.

The FBI/CIA paid MIT techs to deanonymize TOR nodes so that is not something to be taken lightly

Elliptic Curve /Digital Signature Algorithms (ECDSA)'s are published usually by either NIST,
the National Institute of Standards and Technology, or the NRC National Research Council in canada.

https://citizenlab.org/2015/08/canadas-quiet-history-of-weakening-communications-encryption/

I don't believe math in and of itself has backdoors. Wether standardized encryption algorithms could is debatable.
It requires a foundationally sound understanding of Calculus to reach accurate conclusions.

AFAIK Monero is the only cryptocurrency to have viable secure ring signature implementations. any other altcoin that has attempted cryptonote implementation or similar has suffered major setbacks, either from unexpected vulnerabilities or issues in upgrading or modifying database functionality

thank you for this summary!

not if it has a backdoor.... there is always danger NSA has an entry point on demand.. and no one can compete with their mathematics talent pool... its a challenge for sure.. so when you say cook something inside.. maybe simpler is better.. after all people would be withdrawing cash right now from dash... by the millions.. so X11 and mixing must work and have been verified and you cloned it @100% fidelity.. so indeed same security for fraction of the cost, master node idea by them was brilliant must say...

X11 has ASIC devices on the market.. for some time now.. but difficulty is so high right now they dont care..

Mathematicians are not inherently good cryptographers as it is another field of study entirely, requiring thorough knowledge of both

Examination of the Telegram chat client is a good case study.
They have utilized a homemade encryption, which poses risks

An excellent thread on this topic is available at stackexchange, up-to-date response to this inital query has been posted as of may 16:
http://security.stackexchange.com/questions/49782/is-telegram-secure

(Older, but included as reference) https://unhandledexpression.com/2013/12/17/telegram-stand-back-we-know-maths/
(2015 post) https://medium.com/@thegrugq/operational-telegram-cbbaadb9013a#.gb7od1j6i
here is a paper demonstrating that MTProto is not IND-CCA secure

Reserved.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Completely undervalued project.

889 masternodes * 10000 DNET = 8,890,000 DNET off exchanges. You can get a masternodes for ~0.09BTC. That is a hell of a deal.

I am def in for sure.  Grin

THIS.

I think every project has it's niche, so has DNET. This market is huge and still growing. Can we also please stop the mindless but funny bashing at zcash? Matthew Green https://isi.jhu.edu/~mgreen/ alone will make this work, follow his twitter and you will see he is the Pieter Wuille of zcash Wink
