If I have a controller wallet with 2 public addresses with 10k coins in each and 2 empty remote masternodes, do I need to have the controller wallet constantly running after it's used to start the remote masternodes to keep getting payments? or will payments stop once I close the controller wallet?

nope, your controller wallet can be off and the payments will not stop.

Yes, we do need a roadmap, and will be working on that shortly. We are working on getting a secondary Anon network setup with instructions on how to Build Anon Masternodes to support the network. When we are finished with that, I will be working on the Roadmap. Baby Steps, we want to make sure an item is correct and working correctly before we move on the the next item.
